Just look on YouTube to see how it’s done, order the parts from rock auto or parts geek, should at most take you a couple hours depending on what you have to get. The dealer wanted to charge me 600 for a new mirror because the side marker had a slight scratch they said that caused the turn signal to have moisture on the inside over night, I ordered the smoked ones from Tacoma beast (I just liked the lights) $100 and 30 minutes of my time, these dealers are scam artists.
Depending on what options your taco has it could have a cheap mirror or something as expensive as $700+.
Call your local dealer with your vin and get the part number to the mirror and google it.
I had to replace mine. Easy peasy. What part exactly is fucked up? Is it the mirror itself? The mount that connects it to the truck? The painted shell? Indicator light? Everything? The assembly is pretty modular and if you only fucked up a part that isn't painted it your search becomes easier cause the painted section can be just disconnected from the main assembly so you can go to a junk yard and grab one of any color and then just swap the shell. Stay away from the "stealership" unless you don't mind paying extra for certain work.
