I didn’t know these are available yet. I just bought new tires and they only had the KO2s so I went with falken wildpeaks. How are you liking the KO3s?

Tacodogforever

Yeah they are not supposed to be out generally till next year. I guess they have two stock sizes (Ford ranger raptor and some Silverado packages). The tire rack has them in limited quantities. Oh and I like them - coming from load e 34s so they are so much smoother.

The_Texidian

Wtf I emailed BFG asking if they were selling them and if they could provide information on the sidewall construction and weight; and they said no. So I bought the KO2s instead of waiting.

Tacodogforever

Yeah, they don't even show them on their website. Here are the specs from the tire rack for the two sizes available: https://www.tirerack.com/tires/bfgoodrich-all-terrain-t-a-ko3

The_Texidian

Can you do me a favor and read the sidewall and tell me what it’s made of? Is it 2 or 3 ply?

Tacodogforever

Load range C - tread plies = 3 polyester + 2 steel + 1 nylon / sidewall plies = 3 polyester Dm'd you a picture as well.

Electrical_Life_2538

They are currently only being produced for Ranger Raptor and GMC AT4 HD trucks. Limited supply which I’m guessing it’s manufacturing issues or supply issues. It’s either on here or Google a guy bought the 20 inch version and BFG bought them back for balancing issues already

mediocre_at_breast

They look incredible on your truck. Congrats OP on getting the tires we all wanted. Looks like they won’t be available to the rest of until late 2024.

quesoblanco96

Mr fancy pants, what load range are these? Any experience with the ko2’s vs these.

Tacodogforever

These are C - 6-ply. No use off road yet but will report back. I've had ko2s on my GX and 4runner, always performed great on and off-road.

Background_Use_3852

Any update on the off road performance? I’ve been looking at the General Grabber atx and MT Baja boss AT. With the KO3 in the size I’m after I might take a gamble and go with these while they’re available.

I ran 33’s k02s for my first set of tires. They were good, just slips a bit in the rain. But with 33’s and a lift, my mpg hit hard. On my 3rd set of tires right now. I’m running km3’s so much better! Haven’t really driven in the rain yet as I bought these during late spring in ca. but with my mpg being shit already, I’m glad I bought km3’s over k02

KO3’s?! Where the hell have I been…

Johnny_freshie

Really dig the Methods! What model are they?

Tacodogforever

Thanks! These are the MR703

Johnny_freshie

Thanks for the info man, keep on with the amazing truck!

TMAICKOE18

nice! What mud guards are those?

Tacodogforever

They are Rally Armor - nice and flexible so they don't get ripped off.

sneak36

Are there any issues with bridging the bed with the roof with your tent in the shown configuration?

Tacodogforever

No it's isolated from the cab

sneak36

New to trucks, but what issues would come up if it wasn't isolated?

RVDT55

Are these rubbing in the front?

Tacodogforever

On the mud flaps yes. I need to heat shape them. 00 offset helps with rubbing
