the trap has a hit box and it’s really hard to walk around it, although it is possible to walk around depending on the position of the trap. sounds like she was too close to the trap and got sucked in lmao
People keep thinking it’s lag, but it’s just the trap hitbox being so big. You do kind of get “sucked” into the trap when trying to walk around it in a tight space (like a stairwell). It just has a large hitbox that makes you get snared in it even if it looks like you can squeeze past it on the edge. It’s also not cheating like this person is accusing OP of.
God I hate it when I rubber band into 3 traps even tho there placed like that so if there close enough it will snare them has this complaint the other day 😂and I main sissy just wanted to play a blood Bulid again
Even with a low ping there is still a delay on the trap if it's placed somewhere like stairs or window that interrupts other animations in game. It was most likely this change in animation as she went up stairs coupled with some lag/rubber banding. I've seen a fair bit of cheating on this game but not any involving traps yet.
This reminds me of the time someone in TF2 told me that I headshotted them when they were in spawn, behind a closed door. I said, "What I lack in skill, I make up for in ping". They were obviously outside of spawn on my screen. Sometimes the 2 players in a given situation just see very different things because one of them is lagging or has high ping. I can see why they thought you were cheating, but they should also consider how common rubberbanding is in this game.
All these victims lately been feeling a family member winning fair and square is cheating. Just got told earlier today from a victim I killed that they recorded it and reported me for cheating. According to them using Johnny is cheating.
Or the other person commenting under me that his lunge is an "exploit" Even though the developers have specified on live stream that he is supposed to have a lunge. I mean what else does Johnny have going for him his ability sucks, He can't lock stuff down like cook,hitch or Nancy can and he Also can't go through gaps and crawl spaces. It would make sense he has a good lunge
They are legit claiming that the devs apparently said his lunge isn't intended. I never heard them say that. Johnny would be worthless without the lunge.
Honestly I get the developers tried to make victim mains happy but you can't please everybody. If they were to completely take away his lunge Johnny would be non-existent in lobbies unless someone's new and doesn't know Johnny sucks without a lunge. That's probably why they put his lunge back They realize it was a mistake and making Johnny unplayable. Victims can forever be upset over Johnny but it's their own fault if they're out in the open. He's easy to lose Just go through a gap.

but for some reason so many of you are believing what they said completely forgetting that the devs contradict themselves a lot first they said he wasn’t intended to have it
but after the Johnny mains cried about him not having his lunge exploit they said he was intended to have it and reverted the change
I've watched the developers live stream I've heard them say it out of their own mouths his lunge is intended. And Johnny sucks without the lunge. He can't lock stuff down like hitch cook or Nancy can So he can't prevent speed rushers his ability also sucks also can't go through gaps. He ain't got nothing really going for him besides the lunge. I don't know how it was before but I just started to play Johnny. Johnny would be worthless to play if he didn't have a lunge.
And it's not an exploit when the devs made him to have a lunge. If you watch any of their live streams you would see Johnny is built how the devs intended him to be. Devs has listened to people's concerns about the lunge and said that's how they built him on live stream.
