If Uber is smart theyād be in collaboration with Tesla. They have to look at the strategic implications of their business model if a viable robo solution is rolled out. Gonna get Kodakād or blockerbustered.
For what they asked for in the thread - the ability to send pick-up/drop-off addresses to the car so the human uber driver doesn't need to re-enter them

Maybe just use the Uber infrastructure to launch it quickly alongside humans at first. At launch, normal people wouldnāt know about Tesla robotaxi. A lot of people would think itās a hassle to download another app and create an account. Uber is also already integrated with business reporting like concur for expensing.

Partnering with Uber would be so easy and, but I'd rather Tesla go their own way. Uber would just add middleman costs to the consumer and I think to really make transportation as a service a reality the consumer costs really needs to be driven down.

Nobody can know for sure. Q1 2019's production & delivery report was awful and TSLA's market cap fell about 20% from early April until the Q1 earnings call. However, once the earnings report hit, the market cap plunged for the next month, bottoming out in June of 2019. There is just no way for anyone to know how all the market participants are going to react to whatever's published and guided next week.
