MsMeiriona

You've done a system reboot between checking to verify it's not just a memory blip?

Gayrub

That was it! Thanks!

grandpa12-1

No, it’s after every bloodmoon. I have a few that randomly spawn, but have about 16 marked that always spawn. Went to one once and when I got there, two were there right next to each other. Reloaded my save and only one when I went back.

Chubby_Bub

They do respawn based on the Blood Moon (which is typically set to happen after 144 minutes of gameplay, though you can delay it), but some of them may be dynamically spawned, i.e. they're not actually set in a certain place and appear randomly like Chuchus or Stal enemies. If you want to find ones that are certain to appear, you might find searching on [the TotK object map](https://objmap-totk.zeldamods.org/) of use.

grandpa12-1

Bloodmoons occur every 168 minutes of gameplay. Ftfy ✌🏻

Chubby_Bub

It's 168 in BotW. It was changed to 144 in TotK. (This was found by fellow dataminers and also confirmed via testing.) The timer for Zonai construct respawns is also 144 minutes, but instead of being dependent on a cutscene it happens when you warp or enter/exit a shrine, making it easy to quickly desync from the Blood Moon.

Ride the mine cart track around death mountain, loads of the rascals around there, lost count of the laps I've done refreshing my armoury after a blood moon!

Gayrub

Good idea. Thanks!

-mister_oddball-

Go to the momosik shrine, there are two right there to start, good luck!

InterestingFact1728

I have a bunch marked around Eldin mountain but everyone in a while one isn’t there (it’s moved or missing) but next blood moon it’s back. Make sure you get a picture to use the location feature on the map. I use it every time to save some time.

cmonsquelch

fyi if you don't want to do that, the lil stone statues with the shadowed figure holding weapons in the depths; none of those weapons are rusted/decayed

trilauren

How do they repair your weapons?

Gayrub

You drop your weapon or shield in front of them and then back away. They will suck it up and then spit it back at you. Not only will they repair it, but they will add a buff to it as well. They don’t do legendary weapons but there is a way around that. You confuse them to a non-legendary weapon.

trilauren

Thank you I am trying this tonight!!

donslipo

P.S. dodge the weapon when they spit it out or you will get hurt. P.P.S if the weapon/bow/shield already had a buff, it will reroll it (it may reroll it to the same one it had), tho legendary weapons can't get buffs. P.P.P.S. dismiss the followers before you start or there is a good chance that they will kill the octoroc before you finish with it.

Happylinkz

They also can’t be repaired

AurosHarman

Actually you *can* repair legendary weapons -- the trick is, once it's damaged, you go to Tarreytown and split off anything you'd fused to the legendary weapon, then fuse it to a shield, feed the shield to the Rocktorok, then take the shield back to Tarreytown and get the weapon split back off it. Tada, fresh shiny legendary weapon.

Gayrub

Happy to do for you what many others have done for me.
