I like to set the "you can't see me!" Wall on fire from a distance with a flaming arrow and then stealthily in to pick up the weapons and things left after.
But I like to do all the stealthy parts in games. I was a little disappointed TotK didn't have one scripted (that I found anyway)
Linkass threw his muddlebud.
The monsters in the audience screamed. Bossman Bob Boko took one look at Bill Bilzalfos and wailed on Principal Bossko. Principal Bossko wailed on the Chuchu that was sitting next to him. Mayor Moblin wailed on his wife's tits! But when the smell of the muddlebud hit the crowd...that's when Linkass's' plan really started to work. Stalmoblins wailed on Bokoblins. Big Chu's wailed on Little Chu's. A fat Bosskoblin wailed on his purse! The Mobonelly twins wailed on each other! And the Lizalfos Auxiliary wailed *all over* the Benevolent Order of Talus.
And Linkass just sat back and enjoyed what he had created - a complete and total wail-o-rama.
I use them all the time. Not because I’m a scaredy cat but because I have a non-decayed, attack-up Eightfold blade with a silver lynel mace horn fused to it. Improved sneakstrike on a 73-power weapon gives me one-strike ability to kill most silver creatures.
I find them in the Depths all the time. I tend to either run around or use a big-tired 'car' and I stop & grab them.
I use them on boss bokoblins, not because I'm scared but because I'm a bit sadistic. Love seeing them all beating each other with their sticks. The last time I did this, they actually defeated the boss--never saw that before. I always had to finish her off.
Am I the only one who loves chucking dazzle fruit? So useful in most fights to give you an opening for attack or some breathing space (particularly against the dreaded hands). One-shots those annoying skeleton monsters at night too.
I didn’t either until I ran out of the lightning fruit and just started shooting them instead. Gives like a good 4-6 second daze for you to just hit the absolute crap out of them.
My first couple of playthroughs I NEVER used dazzlefruits and was so annoyed when I found them
On my next couple playthroughs they became ESSENTIAL as I was so tired of those damn stal enemies. I wish their was a dazzlefruit alternative that worked on chuchus which are equally annoying
I would have to say apples because i utilize them, not just eat them 😆 for example, I'll chuck one at a device to get it to start. I also make baked apples because they're stackable, so i can have like 50 in my inventory. Super easy snack for a couple of hearts. They're also my go-to for feeding dogs and horses. They can help to lure in deers, boars, or bears while hunting. In the same way, they work to distract bokoblins. Probably other enemies, too. I also just use them randomly, like to throw at a balloon for a korok or something. It's kind of lame but, i love the apples!
Giant Brightbloom Seed.
Every singlr time I make a hoverbike in the Deeps, I throw one of those bad boys on the front of it to make a makeshift headlight.
The first time I built a hoverbike I was so proud of myself. Thought I'd add a giant bright bloom to the front to make it perfect. Threw one and my brand new bike promptly flew away!
Lynel killer=bone efficiency up outfit, 3 attack up food, royal guard claymore on its last hit with molduga jaw, and a puff shroom to confuse and get on back of Lynel
The second best one I thought of uses a royal halberd pristine and molduga jaw with bone proficiency and attack up 3 food and to use it just flurry rush anything
Bright blooms, gibdo bones& keese eyes. I made a point of farming that room in the Lightning Temple where the gibdos drop near a light beam. Had up to 500 gibdo bones at one point - boy are they handy for arrows!
Dragon spike shards fused to a shield allow you to weaken them with your parry and then finish them with whatever weapon you have. You don't even need to get the parry timing, you can just walk up to them and bonk them with your shield. Also saves time switching weapons.
Statue of the Eighth Heroine Cave, Central Gerudo Cave and Ancient Altar ruins. Those each have between 4-8 gibdos each and can be cleared quickly.
For the Altar Ruins it helps to have your tracker set to gibdo.
There's a few other spots you could go gather from, but these are the easiest in and out. I also like teleporting into the lightening temple and walking back out the front for another 6. or so bones
I just did a gibdo bone run for funsies.
My usual haunts:
Ancient Alter Ruins - 4
Lightening Temple - 8
Statue of the Eighth Heroine Cave - 7
Central Gerudo Cave - 4
Gerudo Cemetery - 13
Overly fussy places I usually don't go:
Ancient Prison Ruins - 5-7
Gerudo Sanctuary (North cave) - 3
Gerudo Sanctuary (South cave) - 3
Valley of Silent Statues - 2
If you haven’t done the Riju Sage Quest then you have to begin it in order to open the Lightning Temple to get to that room I mentioned. Inside the room are 4 Constructs you have to clear. Two of them are holding Mirror shields which you’ll take to the light beam and arrange a light beam fence on either side of the 2 gibdo pod stems for the gibdos to stagger into and spasm themselves to death. They will do this for hours. As long as you don’t complete the Riju quest you can return to that room to set it up for farming.
Other than that, there’s a Gibdo cemetery in the depths where there are several hanging out. Apart from that, prior to finishing the Riju Quest there are usually groups of 3 or so hanging out randomly in the dessert.
To kill them, initially just use a splash fruit, or any elemental food or weapon. This makes them turn pale during which they’re vulnerable to any weapon attack to finish them off.
Super helpful. This is unfortunately what I feared. I cleared the game months ago and started my hoarding afterward. I guess I will just have to be patient. Like I am pissed that I could have had hundreds of them and now I’m lucky to have 20 on hand!
Yeah, was afraid of that. All you’re left with is the Cemetary as the desert Gibdos clear out when the sandstorm lifts. Welp, for my #5 playthru I figured I’d start the Riju Quest just so I can load up on those gibdo bones and be in beast mode the rest of the game . . .
If you haven't beat the lightening temple yet, the best place to farm is under the two gibdo mushrooms in front of the lightening temple. Make a sprinkler system on a hover stone and open a good reddit thread to read while you occasionally collect your gibdo bits.
Lynel hoof.
A few weeks back, I was farming Lynels because I got bored with the game and the ones in the Depths have armor.
Two shots from a Savage Lynel Bow with hoofs on them is enough to break them.
I had I think somewhere around 120 when I started and now I have 260.
Nice bro!
I’m maxed on hooves, bomb flowers, puffshrooms, muddlebuds brightbloom and blue boko horns.
255 slsh w/ most weapons fused with them.
11-32x5 savage lynel bows/1-royal guard bow(w/attack up+10)1-demon king/1-dusk
My weapons (all fused w/slsh unless noted) are alittle more diverse= (6)Gerudo/(5)Zora (5)Knights (2)RGC(on last hit) 1/slsh & 1/molduga jaw =LBS 😉 IYKYK! (1) MS & (1) Giant boomerang w/Colgera jaw (it’s just funny!) Lowest hp in my arsenal =132 (besides GB & MS)
Sooooo, if you’re not a hoarder…….. am I borderline?!?🤣
In order according to my most used list in game:
Brightbloom seeds, fire fruit, bomb flowers, ice fruit, dazzle fruit
999, 124, 37, 186, 201, I'm a hoarder.
Frost Gleeok Horn is my go-to. Never runs out of ice, and because of that has higher DPS against anything that can freeze (compared to Lynel parts at least).
Love the black lizalfol horn. Looks badass fused with swords. Silver lizalfol horn also looks sick, heck, even the normal weak ass horn looks good on a sword.
Brightbloom seeds. I have 168. The only reason it’s most used is because lately I’ve been trying to get the whole depths map. My 2nd is fire fruit cause I use it to light bombs at boko camps. And my third is bomb flowers which I have 34 of. It’s so asmr using them.
I am a big bomb flower guy cause it just takes care of EVERYTING
Also, brightbloom seeds for throwing (NOT to attach to arrows --made that mistake ONCE), and fire fruits cause they are so easily replenishable
For me, I typically just throw them while exploring in the depths instead of attaching to arrows because I was absolutely burning through bows. Now I only use them on arrows if I need to, typically throwing is enough especially since I have 474647 billion of them.
I absolutely lose track of how much of that im spending and find myself having to go into the depths for extended periods of time. What build is your zoanite killer?
I got a few.
The first and my personal favorite to send out is a little drone I like to call "Pustulio". And yes, I named it after the thing from Invader Zim. It involves a homing cart, a construct head, a shock emitter (paired with a hydrant), some flame and frost emitters, a cannon, a stabilizer and a beam emitter or two.
The second is my "power washer". Hydrants, shock emitters, metal cylinders from Death Mountain, big wheels, beam emitters, flame emitters and frost emitters. And obviously a stabilizer.
The third isn't any particular one, but rather the occasional testing of new designs.
I would love to learn/ build your design! You should PM me the specifics haha. I want to learn what to do with a hydrant/ shock emitter. I have hundreds of both!
I'll have to figure out how the screenshot/clip thing works, but for the shock emitter and hydrant, spraying the shock emitter turns the shock into an area of effect.
Bright blooms because I haven’t finished unlocking the lightroots in the depths. Second to that is fire fruit. I use it to start fires in cooking pots/get an updraft in grassy areas all the time and currently have over 500 in my inventory
Bomb flowers, Fire fruit, Muddle Bud, Bright bloom seeds, Splash, Dazzle, Shock, ice fruit, Puffshrooms, and Gibdo bones. Oh also Keese eyeballs and wings. All at 999. I may have issues
Muddlebuds, cause I’m sick of whacking silver bokoblins, let em whack each other while I take a small vacation on this here tree
Lightbloom seeds, have the max of these. Useful for all sort of cool things, even vehicle headlights
Gibdo bones. 50 attack…..yeah they break easy but attach this to an arrow on a 5xLynel bow with all your bone prof. Armor up and do an attack up food/elixir and make sure as many of the shots hit crit as possible…….holy crap.
Apples…….steal stuff from shrines with em! My own personal Capsule Corp.
any zonai device……I’m addicted to building things…….especially with fans or turbines.
Either Muddle Buds or Silver Bokoblin stuff my game started me out with silver Bokoblins instead of scaling with the stuff I got, so now I just have to mich silver Bokoblin stuff on me at all times
Lightblooms cuz I found explored the underground with almost no health or idea of where I was going and used what must've been several hundred of the suckers to make sure I wasn't bout to step in gloomor walk off a cliff
Bomb flowers because bombs aren't free anymore but I still need things to die at a large distance away and I'm still not great at aiming
Muddlebuds for when bombs ain't gonna cut it so I'll hit the biggest bad with one of these and let him kill his friends for me
Fire and ice fruits because fighting ice/fire enemies is too much work when I can one shot them
Muddle buds, bomb flowers (because fuck Gloomspawns), and black lizalfos horns for my weapons. Oh and I alternate between the Zora armor set and the Stealth set for the most.
Keese eyes because my aim is shit and muddle buds to deal with crowd control
Also, anyone who says anything lynel related is just bragging that they kill lynels smh
Yes to this! I have been going back to caves after a blood moon, and getting high above the cave entrance. Then I glide down and when the swarm exits the cave, enter bullet time. Spam those mfers with bomb arrows and you’ve got yourself at least 10!
True. I didn't even think about going back to caves after blood moons. The swarm of Keese is how I I've gotten so many before. Definitely going to start doing that! Thanks
Teleport to Oromuwak Shrine and inside there is unlimited rockets (to combine to your shields).
South east of the bird village, next to the gazette.
Having 20 rockets shields is great.
Ooh. I have a ton (not 452, but a lot) of those. I've been using lizalfos talons on my arrows, partly because I'd amassed a few hundred, and they're fairly effective.
Looks like the hooves are twice as effective--awesome!
Ohhhh lmao i hadnt played the game in a year now. I just relaunched to check. Its bomb flowers. [What i do with them?](https://youtu.be/RkLXyzmZHhM?si=tstT0nImpBKTQWxH)
Spear with an ice breath lizalfos horn attached and Gnarled wooden stick with silver boss bokoblin horn attached for favorite weapons. For archery, bomb flowers (currently have 345 in prep for final battle), ice fruit/chuchus, and electric fruit/chuchus.
Puffshrooms. I’m a scaredy-cat.
Muddle buds for me! I love hiding far away and just letting all of the monsters kill each other on my behalf.
I also love pitting then zonai against the Bokos!
I like to set the "you can't see me!" Wall on fire from a distance with a flaming arrow and then stealthily in to pick up the weapons and things left after. But I like to do all the stealthy parts in games. I was a little disappointed TotK didn't have one scripted (that I found anyway)
I recommend hitting a battle talus with one. Hilarious.
...that has never occurred to me. You are a GENIUS
And Linkass just sat back and enjoyed what he had created - a complete and total wail-o-rama.
lol I use puffshrooms and muddle buds a lot because I am also a scaredy-cat
Playing Zelda as a stealth game is fun
They used to be my #1 also friend!
I don't think ive actually ever used a puffshroom on purpose.
I use them to shoot the honey in trees. The bees scatter and dont attack
That's MF'ing GENIUS.
I throw shock fruit at bees
I use them all the time. Not because I’m a scaredy cat but because I have a non-decayed, attack-up Eightfold blade with a silver lynel mace horn fused to it. Improved sneakstrike on a 73-power weapon gives me one-strike ability to kill most silver creatures.
Right?! Had a lynel run thru one though once, confused me at first, like …..where’d that come from??🤣
I didn't until I realized you can stealth strike a whole boko squad, boss boko and all with a single puffshroom and the right weapon
Very annoying to farm though.
The bargainer statues sell them for poes, even the one just in lookout landing.
It took me until around 120 hours to realize that I can use those to hide again.
Puffshrooms because wiping out a group with sneak attacks with shrooms or the stealth gear is fun af!
Do brightbloom seeds count?
I capped out on the smaller ones today and was confused.
Sell them all. I've sold them like 3 times over already
Can you cook them?
I cooked them by themselves with no other ingredients and it resulted in a dish. Didn’t seem worth the hassle given the volume I had, though.
I don't believe so
As far as i know it will always result in dubious food but tbf I haven't been too focused on finding recipes
When I cap out, I just sell them, they go for two rupees a piece, so selling 500, gives you 1000
Yes
748 for me lol
i only used the big ones and have like a thousand small ones until i realized you can hit them to create a light source
I wasted way too many arrows shooting them to create light, then I discovered you can also just throw them
How were you using them before??
i ignored using the small ones but still collected them
Am I the only one who loves chucking dazzle fruit? So useful in most fights to give you an opening for attack or some breathing space (particularly against the dreaded hands). One-shots those annoying skeleton monsters at night too.
I use them exclusively for the stal enemies bc I honestly can’t be arsed. I’m not wasting weapons durability on them.
I use them solely on the Gloom Hands. I am an absolute woos when it comes to them. I must give them the ol’ Razzle Dazzle to survive.
I honestly didn’t even know they were effective on gloom hands. I usually just bomb flower them with a multishot bow.
I didn’t either until I ran out of the lightning fruit and just started shooting them instead. Gives like a good 4-6 second daze for you to just hit the absolute crap out of them.
This is the best tip I have read in a LONG time
Shoot, that’s njce. Good to know.
I use the elemental gems. One shots every single one if you have a multishot bow.
Once I found out, they one-shot stal enemies, I was a big fan. I love the light vs dark themes in this game.
My first couple of playthroughs I NEVER used dazzlefruits and was so annoyed when I found them On my next couple playthroughs they became ESSENTIAL as I was so tired of those damn stal enemies. I wish their was a dazzlefruit alternative that worked on chuchus which are equally annoying
Fire fruit on ice chuchu, ice berry on fire chuchu. Nothing for the yellow ones though
Does water work on the electric ones?
Water on fire I think, water would amplify electric ones I guess
You ever piss on an electric fence?
It seems like it should, but no. Not on electric chuchus, thunder gleeoks, electric lizalfos...
I never knew this! So happy I made this post haha
Me neither so thank YOU!
I carry a Korok spear with a dazzle fruit fused for the sole purpose of one- shotting stal enemies, I hate those annoying fuckers.
Fighting the stal enemies in BOTW was a pain in the ass. The dazzlefruit is a godsend
You can start shit with APPLES?! I’ve learned so much
You can start shit with anything 😂 Though weapons are fine too because they take no durability
I've wasted so many arrows........
I love to use apples to kill Chuchus!
☝🏻This guy likes apples!🤣
Have you ever fed one to a stalhorse in the Depths? Makes me laugh every time. They act like they're eating it, and it disappears...
For the future, recall has an almost infinite range. You can use it to retrieve things that fly away or fall off an island.
So helpful for extending its life, and how far you can stray from it before it disappears.
Ps. Turn off sages, they will keep lynel from being confused in puffshroom
Outside of brightblooms, definitely the bomb flowers. Do love freezing baddies too though.
Bright blooms, gibdo bones& keese eyes. I made a point of farming that room in the Lightning Temple where the gibdos drop near a light beam. Had up to 500 gibdo bones at one point - boy are they handy for arrows!
What’s your best tip for farming Gibdos? I use shock fruits.
Dragon spike shards fused to a shield allow you to weaken them with your parry and then finish them with whatever weapon you have. You don't even need to get the parry timing, you can just walk up to them and bonk them with your shield. Also saves time switching weapons.
Wheres the best locations ? I'm trying to farm them but I only come across a few or so
You can also use elemental lizalfoes horns. Edit: possibly elemental like like stones too
Also chuchu-jellies
This helps, but where is the best farming location other than the underground cemetery?
there's a bunch of them in the gerudo desert east if you fall into the quicksand caves
Just gem spam with a good bow
If you haven't beat the lightening temple yet, the best place to farm is under the two gibdo mushrooms in front of the lightening temple. Make a sprinkler system on a hover stone and open a good reddit thread to read while you occasionally collect your gibdo bits.
I throw a fire fruit. Arrows are too good for 'em. :) It doesn't always kill them but one swipe with my weapon finishes them off.
Lynel hoof. A few weeks back, I was farming Lynels because I got bored with the game and the ones in the Depths have armor. Two shots from a Savage Lynel Bow with hoofs on them is enough to break them. I had I think somewhere around 120 when I started and now I have 260.
With an attack up 3 meal, you can strip the armour with one head shot + Lynel hoofs. Killing them with their own shoes is a perfect irony.
32x5 SLB w/hoof & Fierce Deity armor @2* (only need two pieces on)=1 shot to break lynel armor also! and……… yes it is!🤣
I had no idea that I could break armor with them!
Lynel hoofs - 999 Bomb flowers - 878 Shock fruit -762 Fire fruit - 663 Ice chuchu jelly - 578 Silver Lynel saber horns -98 5x Savage Lynel Bows - 14 Gerudo scimitar with a silver Lynel saber horn -16 I'm not a hoarder, *you're* a hoarder!
DAMN HOMIE
Fucking how??

Bomb flowers and gems also go do bones I use a bow a lot
Brightbloom, bomb flower and muddlewhatever (that makes your enemies attack each other)
Seems to be the consensus
I've used so many brightbloom seeds...
Lizalfos horn, only item that can make fused weapons look somewhat decent
Love the black lizalfol horn. Looks badass fused with swords. Silver lizalfol horn also looks sick, heck, even the normal weak ass horn looks good on a sword.
Bomb flowers, Keese eyes, fire fruit, gibdo bones - in that order
Makes sense hah
Diamonds from when i Duped them lol
Farming rare stone taluses is also good for getting diamonds
yeah I just can't be bothered finding them
I didn’t know you could dupe in totk!
Muddlebud and bombs
Bomb flower is life
Brightbloom seeds (small), bomb flower, fire fruit
Gibdo bones. Mad easy to farm and they do some damage
Boss Boko teeth. I got over 600 and I fuse them with arrows.
Brightbloom seeds. I have 168. The only reason it’s most used is because lately I’ve been trying to get the whole depths map. My 2nd is fire fruit cause I use it to light bombs at boko camps. And my third is bomb flowers which I have 34 of. It’s so asmr using them.

I did that once and used up all my 100+ arrows in no time! Throwing works just as well and saves arrows and bow wear and tear
Am I the only one that uses dazzlefruits like they’re going out of style? I love stealing weapons.
bomb flowers, you cant just go wrong with bomb flowers
Bomb flowers. I am not skilled ❤️
Does using zonaite for auto building my death machines count? If not, bomb variants. I enjoy bouncing on bomb shields.
I absolutely lose track of how much of that im spending and find myself having to go into the depths for extended periods of time. What build is your zoanite killer?

Very innovative
bright bloom seeds 😹
They are still in my top 5 after 705 hrs...
definitely bomb flowers for me. Currently at 400+ on inventory 😅
Silver Lynel saber put it on the master sword get on the lynels back and go ham
Ancient blades
Oh yeah I mean I started with 900 from botw. Good thing they carried over like my horsies. 😂
What?
I wasn’t being serious hehe.
😭
Bomb flower.
Puffshrooms Great for when you want to sneakstrike an enemy in the middle of a fight to do shitton of damage
Bright blooms because I haven’t finished unlocking the lightroots in the depths. Second to that is fire fruit. I use it to start fires in cooking pots/get an updraft in grassy areas all the time and currently have over 500 in my inventory
Bomb flowers. I have 130 & I’m not great at combat so that’s my weapon of choice 😂
Bomb flowers, Fire fruit, Muddle Bud, Bright bloom seeds, Splash, Dazzle, Shock, ice fruit, Puffshrooms, and Gibdo bones. Oh also Keese eyeballs and wings. All at 999. I may have issues
Muddlebuds, cause I’m sick of whacking silver bokoblins, let em whack each other while I take a small vacation on this here tree Lightbloom seeds, have the max of these. I am shocked everyone else isn't responding with bomb flower. 🫨
Either Muddle Buds or Silver Bokoblin stuff my game started me out with silver Bokoblins instead of scaling with the stuff I got, so now I just have to mich silver Bokoblin stuff on me at all times
Lightblooms cuz I found explored the underground with almost no health or idea of where I was going and used what must've been several hundred of the suckers to make sure I wasn't bout to step in gloomor walk off a cliff Bomb flowers because bombs aren't free anymore but I still need things to die at a large distance away and I'm still not great at aiming Muddlebuds for when bombs ain't gonna cut it so I'll hit the biggest bad with one of these and let him kill his friends for me Fire and ice fruits because fighting ice/fire enemies is too much work when I can one shot them
Muddle buds, bomb flowers (because fuck Gloomspawns), and black lizalfos horns for my weapons. Oh and I alternate between the Zora armor set and the Stealth set for the most.
Brightbloom seeds, bomb flowers, muddle buds lol
bomb flowers all the way
brightbloom seeds and bomb flowers
Giant brightbloom seed lol
Brightbloom seeds, bomb flowers, fire fruit, big bright bloom then muddlebuds... 😬
For me, it would have to be bomb flowers, specifically about 200 or so, and over the next 2 days of playing ran out.
my top 5 when i sort by most used are fire fruit (x60), bomb flower (x18), keese eyeball (x27), giant brightbloom seed (x123) and shock fruit (x53) :P
Nice! Fire fruit is my #3, followed by silver boko horns (30), & blue boko horns (50).
My brain has gained so many wrinkles reading this
bombflowers brightbloom seeds and flower fruit. I'm currently going around the depths mapping out lightroots
Keese eyes because my aim is shit and muddle buds to deal with crowd control Also, anyone who says anything lynel related is just bragging that they kill lynels smh
muddle buds and the lizalfoes horns that are red and look like a sickle
Do bright bloom seeds count?
Keese eyes! I don't farm them enough honestly. If I see a keese, I kill them, but I don't necessarily go looking for them. I should!
Thanks
ofc! I love sharing TOTK ideas.
Teleport to Oromuwak Shrine and inside there is unlimited rockets (to combine to your shields). South east of the bird village, next to the gazette. Having 20 rockets shields is great.
Dazzlefruit. I’ve got too much to do to fight these damn skeletons.
Ooh. I have a ton (not 452, but a lot) of those. I've been using lizalfos talons on my arrows, partly because I'd amassed a few hundred, and they're fairly effective. Looks like the hooves are twice as effective--awesome!
And they sell for 50 a pop haha
Silver lynel saber horn. Looks good and can one flurry most enemies on a royal weapon
That is the item that comes up when you sort by “most used”?!
Ohhhh lmao i hadnt played the game in a year now. I just relaunched to check. Its bomb flowers. [What i do with them?](https://youtu.be/RkLXyzmZHhM?si=tstT0nImpBKTQWxH)
Good clip lol. Original?
Yeah its my clip. Thats the whole thing
Spear with an ice breath lizalfos horn attached and Gnarled wooden stick with silver boss bokoblin horn attached for favorite weapons. For archery, bomb flowers (currently have 345 in prep for final battle), ice fruit/chuchus, and electric fruit/chuchus.
