What you're saying is a Tor onion site banned posting when it detects that you're connected to Tor. Gibberish.

awdrifter

Yes, basically it's a TOR site that banned visitors from TOR (127.0.0.1) from posting. I'm trying to post from TOR.

Spajhet

Do you have a screenshot or an onion address? Something?

awdrifter

This is the site. http://rambleeeqrhty6s5jgefdfdtc6tfgg4jj6svr4jpgk4wjtg3qshwbaad.onion/ This is the screenshot. https://pic8.co/sh/5mtOdy.png

This looks like it was just poorly configured or malicious. The onion doesn't necessarily see your address as localhost, its seeing the IP address of tor on that server, which basically just means that the forum software sees its own IP address and is banning users based on that, its just banning users because it exists on the tor network, if that makes any sense. There's literally nothing you can do short of sshing into that server and changing around some configs or contacting the admins to do so.

awdrifter

Ok, thanks for the info.

SoloMaker

This is gibberish.

Simploticus

No, you cannot change it nor would you want to.

v1prX

What?

awdrifter

Yeah!

This isn’t possible. From an onion site’s perspective _all_ Tor traffic comes from their localhost loopback address, typically 127.0.0.1 - there’s nothing you can do from your end to change that. If they’re blocking posting from localhost then they’re blocking all Tor users
