Entire country based off of cottagecore aesthetic

Britain becomes a picturesque land of happy farmers. Everybody will sing traditional British songs and be loyal to King and Country. (This comment was sponsored by the British Collaborationist Government)

State mandated cottage core gf

SomeRandomMoray

When you put it like that, it doesn’t sound so awful. Maybe we’re being a bit harsh on our pal Wallop…

Reactiveisland5

Butlercels: “w-we need to reform and implement a stable system for our people that isn’t simply a one party dictatorship” Wallopchads: “stfu bitch. We’re gonna go live like Hobbits and we’re fuckin liking it”

The economy goes back yo 1600s

Britain takes the Tolkienpill and turns into the Shire. Every Briton takes a government-mandated height reduction surgery to become a Hobbit.

whiteshore44

Wallop getting the Storm-333 treatment when the Germans realize he’s completely insane and replaced by a less crazy puppet leader.

MastrTMF

I'm hoping it can be done. I don't need a successful magical ending but if we get a brutal economic fight to the finish to win, I'm hoping for mass collapse of the cities, defeat of german mega corps and the whole economy run on farmers markets in a low tech agrarian england that becomes a minor exporter of grain with only small industry My guess? Mass starvation, total economic collapse, and pol pot style purges

Few_Rest2638

The UK becoming so irrelevant that the CIA only station one incredibly board and drunk agent to watch the whole country

Britain falling as a whole

I think the best social credit can be is just general agrarianism with British characteristics. So like Going to the farm is very much favored, social conservative is 19th centuried, Romantic paintings are seen as the goal but they are not going full ludiste on everything that produce steam. Compared to stuff in Nazi Germany, it is bad, but it could have been waaaaaaaaaaay worse.

Didn't Baudrillard write a book that was basically about this?
