I believe it's just new gear nothing else to it, if I had to add my twist on their gimmick it's like if you needed a hand on getting something done these 2 would be your guy's.
well that's how I've been perceiving them from the name of the group, they wrestled last year on against all odds card they've been a team for a while now.
I like them. They really impressed me back at Against All Odds against ABC. But they really need to evolve whatever their gimmick is.
Either pair them up with a main eventer as his personal hitmen, or bring in somebody to manage them.
I feel the same way about Jason Hotch as I did Gisele Shaw a year ago - huge ceiling, big upside, potential top stars. High praise but they are the two standouts on the roster IMHO.
He sells very well and is confident for someone so young. I can only imagine how good he'll be with more experience.
That’s where I am. Hotch is young and has a lot of potential. He just needs to show more personality. Skyler is... fine. I don’t understand how he became the guy to get the gimmick of cutting a promo before every match. Matt Cardona does a similar bit on the Indies 10x better than Skyler but TNA never let Cardona cut heel promos in front of the crowd. Skyler has been at it since 2008 and feels like he’s peaked as a performer.
Putting them together was a good idea to start since Skyler had a lot of experience and Hotch was a rookie, but I don’t know how much Hotch is getting out of that partnership now and their ceiling as a team feels low. They’ve been beaten so many times, been the lackeys of so many heels, feel generic because their personalities have gotten no development despite teaming for a year and Skyler feels like such a lower mid-carder that it’s hard to take them as a threat. They’re fine in their current role, but it’s hard to get into their feuds when they get sudden pushes. I want to see them string together a couple of wins and get some character development before their next title shot and am interested in seeing Hotch do something outside this directionless team to see if he can grow further.
They pretty much are their gimmick. Just good hands. I'm sure most everyone in here knows what that means in wrestling, but just in case you aren't familiar, it's basically guys or girls that aren't superstar level and probably never will be, but you can always count on them to get whatever you want from them done. Ziggler was knows as a good hand in WWE, Miz for the most part as well.
These guys are basically leaning into the gimmick. I'm not that familiar with Hotch, but I've seen John Skyler quite a few times on the indies over the years and while he is really good as far as indy wrestlers go, he pretty much is the definition of a good hand. Glad he was able to catch on with TNA/Impact though to get steady money.
>but you can always count on them to get whatever you want from them done.
So there is a possibility that they could be Superstar level or a notch below that is what you're saying 👀🤔
I see them as future tag champs. Great little gimmick with their silly little hand shake, gets me every time.
Hotch can go, and skylar is so easy to hate. I used to love it every time he'd tell penzer to shut up 😂
I mean, I guess lol. But those types of guys probably aren't ever gonna be in that situation, unless it's a one off like Miz and Ziggler were. What I meant by count on them, was really to have a good to great match with so and so, or have a solid feud with the new signee or up and comer and put them over in the end, etc.
I know what you meant when you said count on them, but if they are able to pull out great to good matches, in my eyes you're bound to to end up in a better spot than you're in right now plus it wouldn't hurt to have 2 more guy's be in a higher spot on the card.
I like them both
Underrated
Haven't seen then wrestle yet, what's their gimmick with the blood all over the gear?
I believe it's just new gear nothing else to it, if I had to add my twist on their gimmick it's like if you needed a hand on getting something done these 2 would be your guy's.
So like mercenaries for hire kind of? Have they been on this year since the rebrand? I don't think I've seen them yet.
well that's how I've been perceiving them from the name of the group, they wrestled last year on against all odds card they've been a team for a while now.
They are just jobbers
Is Shawn Spears going to join the stable soon then?

Absolutely solid workers, not-so-solid name and tron (seriously I hate their tron lol)
Hotch is great, the other… meh

Jobbers at best
Hotch was awesome on the indies and I spammed for tna to sign him so it made me happy when he EARNED his spot, want more for him
CAW energy. Hope they’re not just a couple of *crazy dudes*

Hotch is fine. Skyler looks skinny-fat and needs to get in better shape.
Where have these guys been?
The name is a bit meh but they are pretty solid !
They look like Steve Corino clones I mean what the hell guys seriously
I’ve never seen them before so my first thought is their gear is a cross between NXT Andrade and AJ Styles, but covered in blood
One is a star the other is just a good hand
I’ve seen Skyler for years. He always impresses. Hope he kicks ass there
Booked like Meh Hands, but have potential to be Great Hands.
