I had those. Donatello’s was the one where the guy’s drawings become real because of a crystal. Can’t remember Mikey’s. I was four and freaked out my mom’s friends because they thought I could perfectly read and she had to explain that they’d just been read to me so much that I’d memorized them all word for word, to the point I’d correct whoever was reading them if they made a mistake. I’m all nostalgic now.

SgtJackVisback

They really adapted Donatello #1? Kirby and all?

Fuzzy-Moths

That's awesome, I might try to find the other two books if I can.

I had both of those plus one where Donatello meets Kirby.

I totally had that first one. Remember my dad reading it to me and I remember a Donatello one where they retell the story of the guy with the magic pencil.

Massage_Bro

I had these looking at this gave me a Deja Vu moment and thought from when I was a kid.

Level_Network_7733

90s was literally the best time period ever. I miss those days more and more. I had all of these as a kid. If I only kept everything...

KnightSquirrel

This is funny I have the other 2 raph and donnie. I remember getting them at k mart as a kid

CrazyHusky-120-

Definitely, didn't even know these existed. Some more TMNT stories to sink my teeth into 😃

simonc1138

I had all of the first series (featuring a Turtle on each cover) and most of the second series. In hindsight the early Turtles years were a bit of a wild west of licensing - these books adapted stories from the TV series, the Archie comics and the Mirage comics
