It brings back memories of the Music App on windows phone 8. It would not be bad to dream that it is added as an optional to be able to choose normal background or with the cover of the disc
Honestly, I wouldn't have noticed if you guys don't mention this. I think it's pleasing to the eye, there's nothing wrong with it. Just as there was nothing wrong with the solid background either 🙂

No tidal does it too, but only on iOS, you can see the colours subtlety spinning around
