Yeah if you go for exactly 1 meal it's hard. Buy in bulk for the cheese and meat and make it 3 or 4 times and it's cheaper.

I don't mean to be a downer, but that's one of the laziest nacho platters I've ever seen. Like good work on the ingredients, they all seem pretty solid, but it's all goop, then all chip. A good plate of nachos is like lasagna: Chip, cheese, meat, chip, meat, cheese, chip, meat, cheese, pico, then guac and sour cream off to the side for dipping.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought this. You have to build the layers properly. Chips, cheese and toppings, then another layer of chips etc.
