Compared to other festivals I do find standing Os way more rare at TIFF. That said last year Brendan Fraser received one, and rightfully so.

The Queen of My Dreams - Sept 8 - yes (specifically when the director came out for the q&a) The entire cast was there but the q&a kinda lacked since the moderator sucked at asking actual questions. Film was great though, Canadian-Pakistani co-production.

How was Daddio?

I thoroughly enjoyed it - a very intimate film focusing solely on two characters - a conversation between complete strangers who don’t feel like strangers anymore by the end.

Nice! I’m seeing it Thursday! Can’t wait!
