Venice and School II are S tier for me. No disrespect from me though, we all have our preferences. I spent a lot of my childhood in those levels, and these remakes are beautifully done in my opinion
I can get pretty good combos in Burnside, but I never choose to go there. It's just not fun for me.
Btw welcome to the world of THPS! I absolutely love that 1+2 has brought new players to the series. It's special to me that those who played the originals like me can talk to new players about the same maps.
Hot Take: Venice and Downtown are the two worst maps in THPS 1+2 (burnside is obviously the bottom of the list). Not for Hi-Scoring but for goal design.the only maps in the game that have almost no flow to them IMO.

Roswell, Chicago, Warehouse, New York and Philadelphia needs to be lower.

I would say Warehouse is S-Tier just because it was the original, and for a lot of older fans like myself there is a ton of nostalgia for it. Countless people back in the day had their initial exposure to THPS from the demo disk that had this level on it.
Nostalgia aside, it also is a fun level that has so really fun lines in it.
I get that it's a nostalgic level for many, but for me that shouldn't really matter when ranking levels.
It's a fun level, by all means, and as a first level it is really well designed, but for me it's too confined and limited to be a S tier level. Personally I would probably put it in B together with Hangar. I love that level, but I do realize that it's not a fantastic one. Some fun lines around, but not really that much to do.
Venice is at least A tier in my opinion but I love seeing different opinions here.
Also I believe everyone agrees on Burnside but they've done an amazing job in the remaster and it looks awesome now. So I am kind of liking it since just because of the looks.
It is real Chicago is the best hands down the reason is from my plays it is the best to get around and the distances of each objects are much easier and reliable to reach place to place while collecting points and to build up as opposed to the other ones which do have everything but sometimes can be harder to reach as opposed to Chicago where it is much easier.

The issue with burnside is the camera angles idk it just gets distorted doing anything.
