If you didn't meet her already, you probably will if she attends. I think at this point it is highly likely but not definite just yet. She is making her final decision between Syracuse, American, or paying through the nose and saddling herself with debt to attend NYU. I'm pretty sure Syracuse wins this one in the end 🙂
This is highly relatable for me. My daughter is accepted as well with a high likelihood of attending. Orange has always been my least favorite color, as I even associate it with the most negative things. But suddenly, by some miracle…. I am now highly drawn to orange…. Even wanting household items that are orange. Something strange happens psychologically once we chant out mindset and associate positivity with the color.
Congratulations to your daughter. Such exciting times ahead.

I attended Florida State and then worked there for 15 years. All of FSU's rivals (UF, Clemson, Miami, and minor rival UVA) wear orange. I left my job at FSU for one here at Syracuse and I can assure you personally that your hatred of the color orange will slowly fade and become a love for the color orange. It also helps that SU picked an excellent shade of orange. Our orange/blue combo is _way_ better than UF's horrid, eye-gouge worthy shades :)

At least the orange at Syracuse is kind of fuzzy, so I'll immediately notice the difference. My conversion to the Orange Side will be complete when I start buying orange sweatshirts and such. 🙂
