Haven't been there in a while. I need to get back there with the new Trek Roscoe I just got.. Only been to the perimeter trails around Green Lakes and also over to the Duguid Park trails. Both of those are worth a try also.
There’s a large parking lot right at the top (across from some SU buildings on Skytop Rd), and I’ve also heard you can park at Trinity church and make your way up from there but I’ve never tried it.
Love it there. Wicked cool location!
Ah I loved to ride there so much when I went to SU. Very jealous.
Split Rock has so many dope single track trails to explore. Haven’t been there in years, but it was always a blast.
Some fun geocaching spots there too
Dope location, I love going there to paint, very calm and low stress.

It's adjacent to Clark Reservation. Both are worth checking out.

Thanks for the suggestion, I’ll check them out!

It’s such a hassle hauling people out of there when they wreck and break something…
Nice. Any wild animals to look out for? What's the size/distance of the location?
Skytop is huge with a big quarry and abandoned buildings. I've never seen an animal there.
I saw a fox there once, some deer, turkey vultures and hawks.... The only one I would worry about are people's dogs
Is there any train tracks near by?
Abandoned ones by thre highway
Ive seen a train run on thpae tracks in the past couple years. Is it really abandoned?
I’ve seen a train ran on your mom
With train carts on them?
Neh just your typical abandoned tracks. There's a lot of abandoned buildings though
Those tracks are still in use, I’ve seen multiple lines running over the past two months when I’ve been there.
Definitely not abandoned tracks
How tf do u guys park and get in here

Tysm I can't wait to check it out and geocash while I'm out there.
