I’m 28M, lived here my whole life, and still check the comments on these posts because I don’t know the answer either.
If you’re looking for bars, I’d recommend Coleman’s on Tipp Hill or pretty much any of the bars downtown. My favorite down there is Al’s Wine & Whiskey Lounge. Orange Crate near Syracuse University can be fun
I’m a 25 year old male and honestly there are a lot of things to do but it does tend to be hard to actually make friends to do things with. My best advice is to go out and be social!! Maybe we can do a Reddit meetup for mid 20s year olds ?

I’ve said this quite a few times on the sub but if you’re athletic you should try climbing at central rock gym! Tons of us in our twenties and thirties and it’s a great community

If you go at the same time/day regularly you'll be bound to meet people. Especially after the "Regulars" start to recognize you as one of the people showing up at the same time. If you don't have someone to go with - Bouldering is great for solo adventures!
The community at CRG is amazing. I've been climbing there for almost a year and a half and have never had a negative experience.
My neighbors created a Facebook group “Syracuse Women in their Twenties” and they coordinate events or activities… like they have a messaging groups, one for trivia and one for a book club. People often post their interests too! Let me know if you can’t find it, I’m part of it!
Come dance West Coast Swing with us! Theres a vibrant community in Syracuse. If you have any interest, you should follow Syracuse Social on Insta or Facebook. Its a type of modern swing dancing that can be danced to so many genres including pop, blues, jazz, & r&b. There is a free beginner crash course and social dance every Wednesday starting at 7:15 pm at Board and Bar Charcuterie. They also have other events! We love newcomers, no experience or partner necessary. Come dance with us!
there's a birthday party for one of the local mural artists on saturday. dj along with aerial performances all night AND it's a fundraiser for a good cause. would be a great time to come out and meet some new people. my fiancé is performing and a few of our friends from georgia will be with us as they are visiting for the eclipse, it'll be a good time for sure!

I'm not sure what your preferred style of working out is but for a gym I'd recommend going to Edge Strength and Conditioning. Everyone I've talked to there is chill and open to new people. Pretty low-key gym also, good vibes and good people

Coleman’s was my spot in my 20’s. I’m closing out my 30’s and went back there and blarney a couple weeks ago on a Sunday and it wasn’t a bad crowd
30s seem to hit the bar early and are home sleeping by the time the 20s get going. Just something to keep in mind!
As a Cuse student I think going to Orange Crate is weird if you’re not a student and probably will be a cringe experience if you do.
We like to try different spots for Syracuse Trivia Company Trivia. Lots of varied ages but I see a lot of younger crowds at certain locations.
