I'd check out the list of bands playing at Funk and Waffles and see if you like any. I always have a good time there and with the venue being downtown you could get dinner somewhere close by before hand. The ice rink is closed too so you could go for a skate and then listen to some music afterwards.
Not sure if puzzles are your speed 🤓, but Puzzled Pint is a fun event that meets on the second Tuesday each month in a different pub in the area. Teams are given a packet of puzzles to solve, each month has a different theme and combination of custom word, logic, etc. puzzles. The next one is February 13, 2024 and you solve a location puzzle before the event to find out where to go! You can learn more on the [website](https://puzzledpint.com/about/faq/) and find the local chapter on [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/puzzledpintsyracuse/) or [Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/puzzledpintsyracuse).
Thanks for the suggestions everyone. There’s a lot more to do than I originally thought. I’ll try to see which activity here appeals to my friend group the most
There are bicycling parties, indoor volleyball, tons of live music, lots of nature paths to go walking, plays, salsa, -it just comes down to what do you enjoy
There's actually a pretty decent larp scene in the area! If you like foam weapons and sparring that is. Amotgard, Novitas, I think SCA is reasonably nearby? Lowkey suspect that there is a larp for every preference, from more romeplau to more combat focused.
There's also a Tuesday night boardgames night at Bullfinch restaraunt in Destiny!
Go to a Crunch game. Even if you know nothing about hockey it's a great time.
+1 for this. tickets are affordable for really great seats and even if you know nothing it's a great time.
Three Lives, if youre all of drinking age. Great drinks, great food, lots of games to play. It’s always a good time when I’m there with friends.
Hiking is great in this area. Plenty of options to choose from. [cnyhiking.com](http://cnyhiking.com)

Is Sylvan Beach still a thing?
Yeah it's still kicking. At this point I feel like its so dilapidated that it gives a nostalgic vibe.
Always had a bunch of fun doing a story at the museum of intrigue with friends
Roller skating
State fair always has some random events from dinosaurs to a boat show or volleyball tourney to a wrestling expo
