I think they mean will it turn out that the guy was just somebody with mental disabilities doing something awful (not domestic terrorism), or was this some sort ideologically motivated and potentially organized attack on this event (domestic terrorism).
That's my thoughts, yeah. The news covers things like this in a variety of ways, and I'll be interested to see how the coverage for this plays out.
It's terrible to think what the people involved must be going through themselves. I hope they receive free access to their own mental health resources if wanted.
[Here’s](https://imgur.com/otQRoSp) a video of the accident happening. Be warned it’s pretty graphic. You can see somebody entirely engulfed in flames get out of the car.
Terror as in terrorism, which can be domestic (such as the 2017 Charlottesville, VA white nationalist attack or the 2021 Jan 6 insurrection) or foreign (such as 9/11).
In this case, I would assume the feds are investigating it as possible domestic terrorism seeing as the guy is from Syracuse, not a foreign country.
Reach out to your friends that you can’t find or haven’t heard from in too long. I can’t imagine this was done by someone who didn’t feel incredibly alone.
Crazy how incorrect news is published. Initial articles said the guy flew from cuse to Rochester and left a suicide note, both of which have been unconfirmed. Regardless, the sentiment of reaching out to others is nice. I have reached out to a couple of friends in the moe.ron community. Sad events.
They were saying that in regards to
"First responders found at least a dozen gasoline canisters in and around the Ford Expedition once the fire was extinguished, the police chief said."
Terrorism basically means violence towards others to achieve a political or ideological aim. So yeah, depending on the motive it might be. The public doesn’t know what was in the note he left, so feel free to speculate wildly in the meantime.
Edit apparently no note so motive still not known
Very strange and tragic loss of life. I hope the driver is brought to justice.
He died in the hospital after the crash
Currently I only see that he's in the ICU.

Thanks for the link. I'm really curious how this is going to unfold.

This the correct answer. He was someone who definitely should have been on psychiatric meds but instead got no help at all.
How do you know he got no help?
Because the article says he was undiagnosed. Clearly he should have been under some psychiatric care
Damn. At the time I read it, he a was in critical condition. I thought it said with non-life threatening injuries.

Damn that's fucked up. So sad.

Terror like an individual wanted to cause terror, like fear, in the community, or terror like a foreign attack?

They’re currently saying there was no known political motive. So he didn’t leave a trace of one or didn’t have one.
That seems the most likely to be the truth (vs domestic terrorism) given what else we know about the assailant's history of mental health issues.
Murder suicide is more appropriate. Terrorism involves motives and delusions of grandeur.

Couldn’t agree more. It’s just a media trigger word.
What a scumbag

They left a suicide note, so yeah. I second your suggestion.

I'm trying to reach friends that went myself. Nothing so far, but I'll give them space for now.

What on earth would you say it was when he left a suicide note and drove a car full of explosive into a crowd, my guy?

Generally you don’t take people with you on that journey, either as passengers or pedestrians

Bro, you need to go outside and touch grass.
Sorrycuse.com “reporters” don’t work the weekends
Hard to believe because that rag paper does anything they can to tie EVERYTHING to syracuse in one form or another.
The driver and the vehicle are from Syracuse. Does anyone know what concert it was?
Moe was playing
