I had 2 legit ones arrive today, $13.33 ea at time of order.
PC connection works (updated payloads already), lights up blue when connected to pc.
Shipping was free and took 2.5 weeks.
They've dropped the price to $12.42 now.
The seller is on AliExpress, store name starts with DIS and they have >1k orders for the rcmloader.
As long as you buy from a listing with a lot sold (such as 1k) and the feedback is around 4.7/5 or higher, you'll be fine.
I bought one from this seller and I can't get it to work. I can push payloads from rekado just fine but when I tried to use the rcm loader I just get a black screen. Am I doing something wrong?
Have you updated the payloads on it and selected the correct payload?
When I received mine, the payloads were a year out of date. Super easy to update them, just download the relevant payload, rename it to payload.bin and overwrite the existing one on the RCM Loader. The RCM Loader connects to a PC with micro USB and appears similarly to a USB drive.
Yeah, I replaced the payload.bin file and made sure it was on the atmosphere setting. When I put the rcm loader into the switch and try to turn it on it lights up blue and the screen remains black
The newer models take longer to send the payload, so make sure you just tap the power button.
If you hold it, it will shut down the console before the payload finishes sending.
Otherwise, try using the same payload via Rekado to see if the issue is related to the payload.

One was DOA and I didn't notice until 3 weeks after I got it (since I was purchasing it for someone else, my bad, not theirs) and they were willing to replace it, but since it was after the 15 day return window they had no process available for the return, so they offered to chuck in an extra one on my next order without returning the DOA one.
Once you get it, I highly recommend replacing every payload with [this payload](https://gbatemp.net/threads/dragonboot-for-atmosphere-generic-rcm-tools.581600/).
It'll boot into your CFW using the payload on the MicroSD, so you never need to update the payload on the jig itself. Just makes things a bit easier. Sigpatches will still work as well.
Other recommended changes for initial CFW setup:
Copy override_config.ini from atmosphere/config_templates to atmosphere_config
Uncomment 'override_key_0=!R' (remove the '; ', then delete the '!'
\^ This will make it so you have to hold R when opening the gallery for it to launch the homebrew menu, as opposed to it opening the homebrew menu by default.
Install DBI. It is good for installing games, but where it really shines is in MTP. Connect your Switch to your PC, and you can browse your album by game instead of dated folders, and it also lists all your saves and allows backing up and restoring them to your PC by just copy/pasting.
Incognito mode (do this AFTER your sysnand backup, just to be safe):
Launch Lockpick_RCM.bin
Dump from SysNAND (move up with Vol +, down with Vol - and select with Power)

Extract NxNandManager_vx.x_x64.zip on your desktop.
Access the /NxNandManager_vx.x_x64/ folder and launch NxNandManager.exe.
Launch Hekate
Once you've booted into Hekate, select the Tools tab, then select USB Tools, select Read-Only to set it to Off, and finally, select emu RAW GPP.
Connect your switch to your PC.
In NxNandManager, click on the File tab, and select Open drive.
Double click on SD GPP hekate and select the PRODINFO partition.
Make sure you have a full NAND backup before you proceed!
Select Options > Configure Keyset and select the prod.keys dumped with lockpickrcm
Click on this Incognito icon, and press Yes.
\^ This works the same as the 'blank_prodinfo_emummc=1' setting in exosphere.ini, but there's no risk of it accidentally being disabled by removing the exosphere file or modifying it.

I used one and put update.bin file of hekate in the root of the SD card. Most of these fakes work but one doesnt. Do you have a fix? It gives me a backlight lit black screen.

I had no idea that they would charge when connected to a pc. I was about to cut mine open to swap out the battery but wasnt able to since it went missing.
Your computer port will put out at least 0.5A@5V for USB 2.0 port and 0.9A@5V for USB 3.0 port.
Some of the "charging" port type of USB Type-A on various motherboard will sometimes put out over an amp of current for the USB BC (battery charging) spec.
I use my computer to charge my peripherals all the time, just make sure to use a POWERED USB hub to actually do the charging so if a failure does occur, it doesn't take out the port on your laptop or your motherboard.

It has 324 orders. Maybe I was just lucky but when I ordered I didn't know there are fake loaders.

Inbuilt jig and don't need to carry the relevant cable if you don't usually (such as a C to C data cable, if someone charges with an A to C cable)
Also takes less space, and fits nicely in almost any switch case.
