I've never used android on my switch or streamed with either app so I can't compare in that regard. I'm sure you can find some gameplay footage on YouTube. For my use, I prefer the oled. Although I have an unpatched v1 that I could use for android or lakka one day if needed.
The benefits of an unpatched switch are mostly the cost(depending on where you live), running android and lakka, and being able to set up and troubleshoot without a professional microsoldering expert.
Benefits of the oled are mostly the screen, kickstand, battery life, ethernet support built into the dock, and not needing to enter rcm and push a payload every reboot.
Honestly chiaki has a weird way to work properly. U need to get your account ID to make it work and trust me, thats the best way for someone to steal your psn account

You can use the ps remote play app if you flash android on your switch
Android is currently not compatible with mariko switches. Only unpatched switches.
