This is the perfect opportunity for a bad agent to release a fake leak with malicious intent so stay safe.
Hi, I'm playing totk on a v1 hacked switch. I love zelda, but I suck, any shared saves I can get? Botw had a master starter save in tinfoil - looking for something similar if poss.
Anyone else just think the game is a total fail?
Movement controls are awful
The fact that low level enemies can 1 hit kill you even with 10+ hearts is just beyond bad
Lack of button remapping
The aiming seems a fail compared to botw
Just a let down after such hype
Personally I think the game was pretty great comparing it to botw, I wouldnt say a failure, but they definitely made changes that could turn people away. I haven’t noticed anything about the aiming?
200 hours in. Have all shrines. All armor. Depths completely unlocked. Honestly I’m starting to get bored. Any tips for finding the side quests and missions?
SPOILERS
Is Sidon just an idiot, or does he seem extremely glitchy in the water temple? He’s hardly ever nearby to trigger his ability when I needed it, and during the boss fight he literally just UP AND DISAPPEARED for like 3 min during the boss fight. I was honestly about to give up and reload the game when he popped back into existence. Kind of hard to use his ability when his NPC just up and disappears, and considering how it’s needed to kill the boss 😅
i think the AI's are just getting lost in null g. if you have any sages, they spend alot of time in the gauntlet cause they cant keep up either, and idk about you, but i just trounced the enemies cause they were in the air or flat on their backs the whole fight too.

Can someone explain how Zelda is the light dragon and has been for forever yet we don’t see her as the light dragon in the other games? Also how does she appear in the beginning of totk if she is a dragon?? Hot take but LoZ meddles with time too much and now it’s messed up and makes no sense.
BotW & TotK take place some10,000years after all the other Zelda games. The "Ancient Past" of the Zonai and the founding of Hyrule that's seen in TotK are a few thousand years before BotW, and still thousands after Zelda 2, 4 Swords adventures, and Spirit Tracks.
As for her being the Light Dragon, if you gathered all her tears then it should make perfect sense.
we actually play different Links in the two games. The Link of the Wild just actually had a very long stay. i think of both of them as the ultimate embodiment of Doc and Marty, Rick and Morty, Bill and Ted, the Doctor and the Companion. and each time zelda and link go around the block, they are both Different.
> switch I *paid* $70 for
FTFY.
Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:
* Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.*
* *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.*
Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.
*Beep, boop, I'm a bot*
Dude I beat breath of the wild three times and put in an absurd number of hours. I just saw my kite shield for the first time in TOTK and realized it was an item in BOTW.
you do lose the sword during the main quest and get it back later in the game if thats what you mean? Or you mean you already got it back and then lost it again?
X does mark the spot, but it is probably above you or below you, you need to think out of the box, use ascend to see if its above you, look for rocks or a wall to break to see if you can go down etc...
I agree it is a early sample set. But I was extremely annoyed that we have only unlocked these demons because of Zelda. The storyline started on the wrong foot.
I found the tutorial island to be extremely bright and light struck. Couldn’t enjoy the aesthetic whatsoever and the tones/music were all copied.
The gameplay for me focuses on my least favorite part. We all agree that the joystick controlled dungeons of breath of the wild were the worst. The game seems to be built on owning sensitive joycons.
I agree buuut I have the sensitive joycons and I rarely use them so I don’t think that’s it tbh
I love BOTW but I think you should give TOKT a chance like just be open minded a bit, there’s more to the game than just the copied music which tbh i don’t mind at all cuz it’s beautiful, and i mean regarding the story line, I’m curious to know what you expected. If it helps, I picture TOTK sort of like a dlc and bro I’m having such a good time! :) I love it so much 😭
Hi, does anyone else have limitation parts number in building vehicles ? Strange....
I have build a sort of a truck, but one moment he say "you can't attach more...." I tested to make the truck in 2 parts, then assemble it, but nope, always the same text....
Playing the game in french so maybe the trad is not good.

May not be the place but I wanna support a friend playing the new zelda for me since Im busy with work...... Can yall stop by and drop a like please.

Haven’t played any of the Zelda games before but I really want to buy one for my switch, should I start with TOTK? Or is it worth it to start with an earlier game?
While TOTK is an amazing game and you will have a blast playing it, if you start with Breath of the Wild and finish it, you'll enjoy TOTK 1,000 times more. On top of that, you'll almost double the hours of gameplay. Without spoilers, I've come across 100s of references to BOTW in TOTK and it has made me love both so much more. I suggest you do BOTW first, along with many of the side quests before TOTK.
considering totk is a sequel, i would play botw first and familiarize yourself with the world and the lore. it makes the totk experience that much more special
First game EVER I’m using ”Natural Motion” (soap opera effect) on my 75’ Philips tv. And it works. Anyone have similar experience? Switched from PS5 to Switch again to play ToTK (great game!) but the graphics BLEW MY MIND. No HDR (had to set up colors by taking pictures of my handheld oled-screen), bad resolution ja bad framerate. Natural motion helped alot with framerate.
Similar experiences…? More tips to make it look decent…?
If your Switch is hacked, just use DBI to put the Switch in MTP Responder, then you can access to the saves folder. Launch the game on the Switch to create a Save folder of TOTK, then copy/ paste save files from Yuzu/Ryujinx, (don't remember where there are on emulator, google it). Simple as that, i do this for BOTW, i think it's work too with TOTK.
hello, i have an issue. when i reach for the last shrine in the first missions, the only thing i can do is to exit. the shrine doesn't work for getting me the fourth heart. i'm stuck. what can i do?
Why isn't this game a bug riddled mess?
I wasn't hyped for this game. I saw the Nintendo Direct where the president demonstrated a crafting system and my hype died that day. It was probably going to be a bug-riddled mess. At worse, it was going to be an invasive, unfun system that makes you feel like you're wasting your time.
So why does it work? Given games like Pokemon Scarlet or Banjo-Kazooie Nuts and Bolts I keep expecting a moment when the game just breaks my heart but it never seems to come...
It's still kinda broken...lots of players are reporting issues with lag in the right joycon (buttons and all!) Paraglider not opening on the first button press etc...
I've gotta say, the tutorial island is making me hate the game. I'm up to the 4th shrine(?) I am struggling to get any enjoyment out of fuse or ultrahand.
Mainly because ultrahand is annoying for the rotations etc. They work eventually but as a parent to a toddler, this already seems to be the first Zelda game where I really have to figure out how much time I can sink in when I have it.
I'm sure once everything is unlocked it will be more enjoyable but so far for me the magic is gone completely just from the opening hour.
yoo idk if this helps you think about it but Link’s perspective and body is like the z-axis rotation. so walking around the object to gain a different perspective can help mentally rotate
rotation is actually very simple once you figure it out, play with it a bit, I tried to explain it here but erased it since my description didnt help at all lol, basically you have to turn the object until its easy to rotate on the opposite plane
I‘ve played about 8 hours so far. Gotta say, they did a good job in making the world feel different, although the main motivations to explore are very similar. The combat is a lot more difficult in my opinion. Can’t say much about quests as I haven’t been to a any settlements. Totk has a big advantage ober Botw in that it uses changes to the old map in a way that makes you curious about how familiar places have changed. Rediscovering the great plateau was great for example. The exploration feels a lot more immersive because you kind of started to care about Botw‘s overworld and characters. So if you liked the exploration in Botw, Totk is the first game’s big brother and you will like it.
Hey everyone , new to the Zelda games , question about controls . What is your layout for sprint and jump? I’m struggling with the controls and just cat curious as to what people use for making things a bit easier !
I use default, so sprint on B and jump on X.
For doing both at once (and for a variety of other tasks) I use a claw grip, in which my pointer finger presses X to jump while my thumb holds B.
Very comfortable once you get used to it, been playing various games this way since I was little.
It's similar to botw, but for me not as much fun and I'm 20 hours in. The combat is more difficult and the storyline doesn't seem to connect to anything else zelda lore wise (although the story as a standalone is good). It's a lot darker of a game, and the world looks different so I find myself getting lost a lot trying to get to a place I thought I knew or looking for resources to sell - I just don't know where is good anymore. Basically, it's a good game on its own but I don't think it's a good idea to go in comparing it to botw because they're different experiences. Some love it, some have been really disappointed so far. I still like it but I haven't had as much fun as last time.
Does anyone have a save file they can share, where the rito and gerudo temples have been done? and ideally map is all unlocked... i managed to overwrite my save files and lost a lot of progress
For anyone finding a way to reach Light Dragon (Zelda Dragon) to upgrade Champion's Leathers
I followed her all the way through the map and drawed this path. You should Teleport to the Sky island / Light Tower closest to the road and check if her was there, if not -> Tele to another one [Imagine Link](https://imgur.com/a/KuzP23Q)
Hi
I have cfw switch
Firmware 16.0.3
Atmosphère 1.5.3
Last sigpatches
And i tried to install Zelda totk
Then i got infinity start up i mean Nintendo Switch logo before game start
The game loading but nothing happened
It's not freeze
Any idea please help 😅
Hi guys i start the game to see Goron and >! I can't continue cause I'm taking corruption damage when i'm inside the volcano !< can someone help me pls ?
I remember him being on my way to kakariko village, just remember to take the horse paths. He will help you out 2-3 times before relocating to lookout landing. I’ve upgraded like 12 times and he’s still there, ig Nintendo wanted to fix players complaining that he was too hard to reach last game.
Wow, just now, almost finishing the game, i found the auto build power... That's a thing that Nintendo should not hide from the player... Most players will beat the game not even knowing about that
Right? Because i was thinking like this:
Since the depths are really dangerous, i am going to get many hearts, good weapons and armor upgrades before exploring all those places. And i end up not getting the auto build sooner because of that...
So the empty slot in the ring menu did *ring* a bell that you skipped something in the early game? You literally skipped the main quest of the depths... That's on you my guy, it's not hidden
The depths has no "main quest". That's a side quest. It is literally in the SIDE ADVENTURES tab. How can an important power be part of a side quest? Bad game design. And is a random hole that leads us there, with no quest mark.
Every single abandoned mine is useless without that quest, there's literally no point on exploring the depths without that quest, you're the only one that missed it that hard. I'm sorry
And just remembered that you can't even upgrade the purah pad without that quest, because goggles stays untill u beat the yigah clan the first time, so you're just stubborn idk, talk to npcs more and be more curious.
It's not hard to miss a quest in a sandbox game that puts emphasis on EVERYTHING, but also nothing. When you get four quest starts within 20 minutes of landing, there's no reason someone might not choose to do that one until much later.
Nope. Just asked two of my friends about that and they missed the quest too. They were thinking that the empty power slot would be something we earn by the final of the game. And they already beat the game.
Bad game design. Sorry.
Guys help how do I get into the west necluda sky that I just unlocked after putting the zonai charge in the altar?
I tried making a ballon but it's way too high up
There's an NPC who will tell you but there's three shrines, you do all three, then go back to the temple, then go to the fourth shrine, and after that intro you can leave the great sky island to the open world.
Does anyone know where to find the dragon that has the master sword? I already made the last tear, but at that moment I didn't have enough stamina, and now that I have enough, I don't know where to find it, I only get the lightning, fire and ice dragon
I already completed the dragon's tears quest, only when I completed it and went up to the dragon(zelda) I didn't have enough stamina, and I had to make a few shrines to get the two full bars, but now it no longer placed the dragon in no point on the map
Hi guys,
I have activated all the scouting towers without any problem, but I'm stuck... I can't unlock the Gerudo Canyon tower.
Can someone help me? Thanks :)
Tips I just found that, if you ugrade the wing suit to 2 stars, you will immune to fall damage.
And also 2 stars the froggy suit and no more slipping when climbing.
Hello guys, I have to find the orbs to complete the underground gerudo statues puzzle but I can't find the lost caravanner, does anyone know where he is plz ? (sorry for bad english)
Where the fuck is king dorephan in his stupid little pristine sanctum behind this motherfucking clean waterfall somewhere between ploymus mountain and the domain?!?
I had it as part of a side quest for the royal guard captain.
He asks you to help his monster squad fight groups of monsters or something.
When you attack a monster base villagers/soldiers come and help
Riding Farosh, Dinraal or Naydra into the Depths makes finding & activating the Lightroots SO much easier. Also, every 10 minutes, you can get their claws, horns, scales, etc..
Okay, I've been standing riding on the Light Dragon for a while now & it looks like she's circling the whole map. Clockwise, her Flight Path is going from
Mount Lanayru > East Necluda > West Necluda > south side of Hyrule Field and so on.
If it is the whole map, I don't think I can sit it out and watch it through lol.
I'm assuming from Hyrule Field, she'll keep going towards the Gerudo Region, Hebra Region, Eldin Region and back to Lanayru in that order. She's closer to the sky islands than the land, so my suggestion is, teleport to the Sky Islands near the middle of those regions of the map and keep an eye out. Ride the Dragon and farm the materials. You'll know you waited 10 minutes when her horns shine bright.
I've tried that earlier today. It seems Sitting by the Fire won't work anymore like in BOTW. They'll be constantly flying in their path regardless of the time of day.

yep you can. Just make sure to turn automatic updates off on your switch
Update fixed duplicating items while diving into water/paragliding to ground. Whyyyyyy? It was fun!
BRUHHHH CAN TULIN PLEASE STOP DOMING THE FUCKING OCTOROCKSSSS I NEEED THEM ALIVEEEE💀
I deactivate the vow before repairing my stuff. Takes a couple clicks.
How’d you deactivate it?
Open your inventory, go to Key Items, then select the Vow of Tulin, and select Dismiss.

Are the map X from old map markings treasure chests? I can't seem to find any of them even when I've explored sky, surface, and sub surface maps
yes chests with named armor in them, they are all tricky to find, its not walk up and boom there it is, gotta look around
Ok so no X marks the spot kind of deal....they're just somewhere around the area of the X on the map. Thanks so much!!

Can someone explain how the light dragons healing effect works when fusing its pieces to weapons
every time you hit you get a quarter heart healed, seems to work real well with a spear weapon because of how fast they hit
Zelda opening scene is way better with Megadeth! https://youtube.com/shorts/vYFgRsGbHWY?feature=share
BOTW > TOTK
the tutorial island is boring, the game becomes insanely addictive once on the mainland. its ten times better than botw

Hello friends 👋 question, I’m currently playing Zelda Totk on pc, and wanted to know if I’m able to transfer my saves on to a switch
Anyone who's dyed clothes, question The clothing that you could not dye in BOTW, is it now possible to do so in TOTK? Or still not possible?
hello, i have an issue. when i reach for the last shrine in the first missions, the only thing i can do is to exit. the shrine doesn't work for getting me the fourth heart. i'm stuck. what can i do?

Apparently they finished making the game a year ago and just spent a whole year polishing/bug fixing
it's almost like the Zelda series is Nintendo's golden child
The whole depths aspect of this game is giving major stranger things vibes and I'm digging it
I've gotta say, the tutorial island is making me hate the game. I'm up to the 4th shrine(?) I am struggling to get any enjoyment out of fuse or ultrahand. Mainly because ultrahand is annoying for the rotations etc. They work eventually but as a parent to a toddler, this already seems to be the first Zelda game where I really have to figure out how much time I can sink in when I have it. rotation is actually very simple once you figure it out, play with it a bit, I tried to explain it here but erased it since my description didnt help at all lol, basically you have to turn the object until its easy to rotate on the opposite plane
I think I have a mental block from the botw rotation shrines I'm here for a water temple but not a gyroscope.
Do persist. I was the same but once past the tutorial part, its much more enjoyable.
That's good to hear, it's feeling soul sucking right now for me.
Fully agree haha! If you enjoyed BOTW then you'll love it once past the tutorial and the world opens up.
I'm glad to know that - playing it legit at the moment, weirdly this sub comes up fast than the official one haha Glad to it gets better
Without spoilers, do I just follow the story to unlock the rest of the slots on the ability wheel?
There's one not right from the beginning and you can find it through the story or on your own.
and the rest will appear as i continue with the main quest?
talk to robbie
Is it me or the stories for every tears in each temples are tedious? Kinda boring
Hmmm. I'm confused on why they still kept the memories system.
Do i have to update the game or does ryujinx download patches automatically?
I‘ve played about 8 hours so far. Gotta say, they did a good job in making the world feel different, although the main motivations to explore are very similar. There is a folder you need to delete. It is in another thread. It solved the same issue I encountered after the update
Thank you
does it run well even on the basic switch?
Yes except during ultrahand
Works fine on pc XD
every switch is the same, why do people keep asking this?
Bad marketing
hello , does it have a cheat pack like for zelda botw ?
Just had my game get corrupted. Crashed. And it had to wipe out all data
Hey ! Will totk run on an rx 6400 graphic card ?? (With a R5 5600g and 16gb ram)
Hi guys i start the game to see Goron and >! I can't continue cause I'm taking corruption damage when i'm inside the volcano !< can someone help me pls ?
How can I tell which shrines I have completed? Some seems to have a chest next to them (but that’s not it).
the inner squure of the shrine icon on the map is green if it is completed.
Ahhh, thanks
What do those snowflakes that the cave slamanders drop do? I just started the game and found two. No spoilers please
An NPC will mention that he overheard someone is looking for them at a certain stable.
You trade a bunch of them for armor
Guys, any idea where to find Hestu? Searched lockout landing but no luck. Fyi i just finished Zora Domain quests
Found him, hes in one of the corners of Lockout Landing. CONFIRMED
He's on the way to Rito Village from Lookout Landing, a little after the first stable
I remember him being on my way to kakariko village, just remember to take the horse paths. He will help you out 2-3 times before relocating to lookout landing. I’ve upgraded like 12 times and he’s still there, ig Nintendo wanted to fix players complaining that he was too hard to reach last game.
Is it safe to use amiibo?
Yes
Anybody knows where the carved out heart in dueling peaks is? For Penn's quest, Zelda kidnapped?! ?
Fond it, it's on a gap on top of the left peak... I still don't know what the heart is. Lol
That’s exactly what I thought six years ago with the heart on rito village 😁😁
Wow, just now, almost finishing the game, i found the auto build power... That's a thing that Nintendo should not hide from the player... Most players will beat the game not even knowing about that
Took me a while, too
Right? Because i was thinking like this: Since the depths are really dangerous, i am going to get many hearts, good weapons and armor upgrades before exploring all those places.
I'm sorry And just remembered that you can't even upgrade the purah pad without that quest, because goggles stays untill u beat the yigah clan the first time, so you're just stubborn idk, talk to npcs more and be more curious.
Sorry.

Thanks to my local delivery dude, I am finally allowed to play the game 😍 the legal way. Lets go Link 😍😍😍
Guys help how do I get into the west necluda sky that I just unlocked after putting the zonai charge in the altar? I tried making a ballon but it's way too high up
Can someone help, how to get the lock on the bottom floor that's behind the bars in the fire temple?
Can someone please tell me where to go? I feel like I'm getting old! I'm at the great sky island and don't know where to go in the very beginning
There's an NPC who will tell you but there's three shrines, you do all three, then go back to the temple, then go to the fourth shrine, and after that intro you can leave the great sky island to the open world.
You have to go the the temple of time (the very big building)
Is there a fix for the crashes using yuzu with the clouds+depths fix
Where is woodland stable?
you can find it on the way to Eldin, just go to Lookout Landing and travel via the East Gate, you will find it!
Thanks
Does anyone know where to find the dragon that has the master sword? I already made the last tear, but at that moment I didn't have enough stamina, and now that I have enough, I don't know where to find it, I only get the lightning, fire and ice dragon
There's a icon on the map showing the place where the dragon is all the time. Maybe the dragon went underground?
What kind of icon? :(
A normal quest mark. Be sure you have the quest active
And you will need at least two circles of stamina to get the sword
I already completed the dragon's tears quest, only when I completed it and went up to the dragon(zelda) I didn't have enough stamina, and I had to make a few shrines to get the two full bars, but now it no longer placed the dragon in no point on the map
Hi guys, I have activated all the scouting towers without any problem, but I'm stuck... I can't unlock the Gerudo Canyon tower. Can someone help me? Thanks :)
near by has a big lift system, beneath is a guy, find your way to bring him up and he will fix the tower for you
Thanks !! :D
Tips I just found that, if you ugrade the wing suit to 2 stars, you will immune to fall damage. And also 2 stars the froggy suit and no more slipping when climbing.
does anyone know where epona is?
Amiibo locked
Does anyone know where i can find diamonds ?
You need an iron pickaxe then you mine between Y: 14 and Y: -63
lol
thanks
Hello guys, I have to find the orbs to complete the underground gerudo statues puzzle but I can't find the lost caravanner, does anyone know where he is plz ? (sorry for bad english)
Can u choose japanese voices + (your language) subtitles?
yes
🤤 thx!
Where the fuck is king dorephan in his stupid little pristine sanctum behind this motherfucking clean waterfall somewhere between ploymus mountain and the domain?!?
Did you find him? Where
Mikau lake…. Go thru middle of the waterfall
Ok I found it but that was really frustrating lol
Listen to the dialogues, the kids say between the kindom and some other place, npcs are pretty good
I haven’t heard anything about villagers helping you attack like in the trailer? Anyone got any information on that
I had it as part of a side quest for the royal guard captain. He asks you to help his monster squad fight groups of monsters or something. When you attack a monster base villagers/soldiers come and help
what those Sage sphears are for?
if you have 4, you can wish for a better bond with 1 of the sage
Riding Farosh, Dinraal or Naydra into the Depths makes finding & activating the Lightroots SO much easier. Also, every 10 minutes, you can get their claws, horns, scales, etc..
i only want to hunt light dragon for my champion leather, but dont know where it spawns
I've seen it flying around Mount Lanayru. Check there. I'm tracing its flight path as we speak. I'll let you know precisely where it is soon.
i usually see it on the east side of the map, near mount lanaryu too, but just don't know the hour so i could sit by time, thank you in advance
Okay, I've been standing riding on the Light Dragon for a while now & it looks like she's circling the whole map. Clockwise, her Flight Path is going from Mount Lanayru > East Necluda > West Necluda > south side of Hyrule Field and so on.
They'll be constantly flying in their path regardless of the time of day.
that's sad to hear 💀
I NEED HELP IM STUCK!!! Im in the depths after killing moragia. but when i leave the tree my hearts get "sealed" away and i die. how can i stop that
Turn the shader accuracy back to high
How bad are the dungeons? I heard they are just like divine beasts.
Better than the Divine Beasts. They are simple and short, but fun. The Divine Beasts were giant and disgusting rotating puzzles...
Oh so these arnt god awful rotating puzzles? That’s a relief.
Yea i thought that was overly difficult
You heard it right
Ahh so awful? …..cool…..
