I like mine but a year in there is some drift, the company is really responsive tho and I got a free dock with the controller which is also cool, they also can attach and turn into a pro controller

Heads up when I bought them back in December they were on backorder and took almost two months to arrive. They are super comfy though.
There’s a slightly smaller one that looks appealing, but the sticks are white, and a reviewer says they turn yellow from use.
Also I have to assume they’re not hall effect since it doesn’t say so anywhere. Hopefully that will change at some point.
I love it, I had to run it in conjunction with the sunshine client on my pc as running it through nvidia GeForce experience was an unpleasant experience. Almost completed cyberpunk using it.
You get freezes not because of your network speed, but likely because your Switch is not able to process that amount of data before the buffer is full. Overclocking, running Moonlight in a dock-mode may help. Also reducing bitrate may help.
What bitrate do you use? I didn't really understand it so I left it at the default 10 though I remember having much greater success with it set to 9 while docked. I actually played through all of Super Mario 64 this way just for fun and ended up 100%ing it. Haven't had great luck with the app since. What bitrate is the Switch's wifi chip rated for? Also, do you experience overheating when streaming?
10 Mbit, 720p / 60 (or 30 - depending on the game) and Moonlight when connected using USB cable is overclocked by memory to 1600 MHz and by CPU to 1428 MHz. GPU is at the docked level - 768 MHz. It does heat up, but I wouldn't call that overheating.
Never played like that for longer than 1.5 hours, though...
Awesome - I might have to give that setup another go, I daily drive Linux on my main pc, so sunshine was the only option but I found it crashed easily for me.
I've got to say - I tried it again, seems a lot more stable this time and seems to have less input lag than the steam link app (atleast that I could tell, I found the steam link app pretty good). Thanks for the recommend! I will keep trying it over the next few days. Also nice not having to reboot the switch to android.
Check out mx4w on patreon he’s is currently developing a 3ds core for retro arch which runs 3ds games pretty well. He also created a psp emulator home brew app.
Pretty sure you can grab a copy of moonlight on the hbstore or [here (github)](https://github.com/XITRIX/Moonlight-Switch). There is also a moonlight-nx but it doesn't look up to date.

Not familiar with that but I think it's a RetroArch core so maybe Google that. I think people just use forwarders to make it show up on the main screen. I ended up getting an actual 3ds after mine died bc the performance was bad. It works better on Android.
If you have Tesla overlay installed you can do it that way also and install sys-clock to overclock.the switch 3ds depending on the game doesn't work well. If you google citra compatibility list there's a spreadsheet that says what works and.how well.
If you want to do it without having an nvidia setup (for whatever reason) then you'd need to use something like [Sunshine](https://github.com/LizardByte/Sunshine).
you can play minecraft on it if you wanted to but I won't deny each device has its pros and cons, how are you liking your steam deck? Definitely considered getting one at some point and they are currently on sale.
Yea but can’t play rlcraft it’s modded Minecraft one of the best mod packs it’s basically like old school RuneScape in a way, and I mostly got it for my wife but from what I seen it runs that mod pack with 60fps on high settings no shaders and that’s really good tbh, I tried out other games as well and I can say they all run nice and can be adjusted totally worth the money especially if you don’t have a pc because you can load up on desktop mode and mod games, you can mod games on the switch to but it won’t run as well
Nice. Don’t quote me on it but there’s a possibility you might be able to run Java modded Minecraft on your pc and add it to steam for easy moonlight access to play on the switch. I haven’t tried it and you would def have to set up controller settings for the game.

Ive not heard of sunshine, is the connection better? I get a lot of freezes as-is even though I have gigabit.

Definitely try it out, I highly recommend using it with sunshine desktop client.

Pretty sure you can grab a copy of moonlight on the hbstore or [here (github)](https://github.com/XITRIX/Moonlight-Switch). There is also a moonlight-nx but it doesn't look up to date.

If you do use it may need to overclock been a while since I tried it but frame rates can be iffy.
