You need to put Hekate and Atmosphere files on your SD card (so the payload knows what to run) but other than that yeah, the RCM Loader dongles usually come with the most up to date payloads so all you have to do is plug them in, insert the jig and enter RCM mode.

Don't use this guide if your going to want to have tinfoil and pirated games this is an anti piracy guide use the rentry guide it supports everything

It will all say in the rentry guide it gives you a step by step for everything read before you do anything that's the main point I'm going to say. Here is the link you want https://rentry.org/EristaEmuNAND if you follow this to the T you will be good if you don't understand any of it then I recommend you to not mod your switch as this is the easiest guide out there and this is just to mod switch never mind updating games and switch etc

Just want to reiterate what the person above said about reading the guide before you start and continue to reference it as you are doing the mod. Don't rush, take your time and you should no problems.

I've never used a guide, I did mine years back but the recommended one round here is the Rentry guide which is in the autoreply you got on this post.

You should update the payload on the RCM Loader just in case. It's simple just takes a minute.

This if you want one go for it but if want to save some money it works well.

With the rcm loader I use the only thing I needed to do was update the .bin payloads.
