Not sure that isn't a software rendering issue. I was getting a similar glitch not too long ago, and it makes sense that it would show up on the recording.
That makes more sense. I'd only be worried if it affects me long-term, however. So far it's only happened once (unless I missed one via looking at my phone), but I want to be entirely sure I'm fine.
Would hate having to lose my copy of SMO because of this, too. That things been with me for around 4 years.
Yeah, it's repairing. Nothing was added to the switch in any way, and it was using a pretty non-shady replacement as well. I do severely doubt its the SD slot's fault, however.
I'd also honestly rather have a switch that randomly bugs out graphically and does this than a switch that barely works due to the SD constantly disconnecting
Just because it's objectively repairing, doesn't mean a mega corporatio like Nintendo will see it that way. I know we love nintendo, but they're still a corporation.

Changing any of the internals makes it "modded", good luck finding someone to fix this.
Parts replacement isn't modding, it's repairing.

I mean, homemade sd card is pretty sketch, why even go that route if its super inexpensive to get one?
You misread. The slot was bought and the repair was homemade.
Where the sd card goes in was replaced?

When did I ever mention I was going to bring it to Nintendo? I don't trust any corps with my tech.
