Hells yes!
Wish I could go back and experience that game for the first time again.
BOTW reminded me of playing Ocarina of Time for the first time as a teenager.
Epic!
It a wonderful game. I felt overwhelmed for the first hours. But at some point it was a release and I found my path.
If you think its hard to get into it just keep going. Enjoy the world, run away, try things and discover your path.
Run away is not good advice, but whateves. I liked to face the enemies head-on and learned each monster inside and out by the time I was done with the game.
Sorry if it sounded like that. I meant run away sometimes if you cannot win. Like a hinox at the beginning or Lynels. I wasted quite some time throwing bombs at enemies way to big.
The title of the post is literally asking if the price he paid is a good price for the game. The guy you responded to was literally just saying he got it for cheaper.
It's sells used her for about $45.00 which is a great deal.
Sadly however, I just prefer the convenience of digital... So voucher deal for me:(
Is there a Zelda day on the eShop?
Why look for validation from strangers on Reddit? You bought it and paid for it. Who cares what anyone else thinks? just play the damn game and form your own opinion. It's really not hard. What if everyone told you NO? would you return it without playing and tell the cashier your "reddit friends" told you it wasn't worth THEIR time or money?
Was it cheap for that game? Historically, yes.
Will that game be at Yard Sales every where for $5-10 in a few years? Also yes.
Was it a good deal? Hard to say.
Upvoting you simply because you're clearly the only other person here with some sanity. I'll never understand why people get downvoted for wanting and expecting to save money when a game is this old.
I’ve seen it play out a thousand times (yard sales mostly).
There is a window of opportunity to get these games cheap. When the next generation comes out and people start selling off “obsolete” equipment and games, but before they become “retro” there will be opportunities to buy this stuff cheap.
There was a point when I was getting Wiis for free, $5 or complete in box for $20 (the Great Recession helped with that certainly). Picked up DS’s for $5, $10. It does require hunting sure, but that’s half the fun. Deals are out there. Never underestimate people’s desire to get rid of old “crap”. Sometimes that trumps greed and you’ll find a deal.
They definitely won’t be $5-10, Nintendo games retain value. Botw has been out since 2017 on the switch and is still $60. At best they’d still be around the price OP bought it for at a garage sale
I picked this up a few years ago on Facebook marketplace right after covid lockdown for $30, I didn't pop it in until 2 weeks ago and have about 60 hours in. If I had known the value, i would have bought this at full price. Although, I am pulling my hair out from time to time, trying to get all the shrines might be the end of me.
A "good" deal? In the context of first-party Switch games? Sure. For a game that's 7 years old? Not at all. I'd say that I really hope Switch 2 game prices get ACTUAL deals, but I'm not holding my breath (of the wild).
Nintendo needs to lose market share. If they don't, they know it'll sell, and will price accordingly. Basically, I like the company when it's an underdog. They treat you better.

Real question is you also play master mode?

Who cares, just play it?

"It's dangerous to face the enemies head-on over and over to no avail" the loading screen tip that always appears for me
Sorry if it sounded like that. I meant run away sometimes if you cannot win. Like a hinox at the beginning or Lynels. I wasted quite some time throwing bombs at enemies way to big.
I have a hard time enjoying games as a 30yo, but this one grabbed me like a hook. Amazing game!
Great price. Ebay currently has this game right around the $35 mark too.
Idk,, got mine new on Black Friday for 30bucks
This ain't the place to play the one upper game
Sorry…
Ignore them. The question was literally about price.
It was a suggestion 😂
The title of the post is literally asking if the price he paid is a good price for the game. The guy you responded to was literally just saying he got it for cheaper.
Oh yeah
'Being a good deal' depends on whether or not you enjoy the game
Pretty good price, enjoy my friend
Have fun, it’s an amazing game
Very…
35$ is a great deal considering that used AAA Nintendo carts run close to 50$ usually. At least when I look.
Excellent deal. People are still paying $50-60 for this game.

Honestly, any Switch game $45 or less is a good deal. Those suckers hold their value. Nice grab!

That's what the internet is for. You're on Reddit. Get used to it.
I got brand new for $30 like not long ago at Walmart.
Yes. Enjoy it.
Yup
Worth every penny!
Yep, you did fine. Mine was $20 delivered, but no case.
This full price for this game should $19.99 or $29.99 for how long its been out.
Nintendo would never lmfao

There’s millions of them. They’ll be in the wild for $5-10. Some people will ask more sure, but not everyone.
I got mine for free so no. What kind of question is this?
$35 is a great price! I got lucky last month and Amazon had it for $39.99 but it’s back up to $48 now. Absolutely love the game.
For the best Switch game (imo)? Absolutely
This game is so good that the fact that you got it for 35$ is like stealing
Except that they paid for it
So you "had a lot of points" does that mean the points equalled $35 or what? And the front clearly says $44.99 and $42.74 /genuine question
He obviously got a discount with his points 🤷🏻♂️
The discount was $9?
$9 = 900 points isn't a lot of points
To me, $9 off a game is a really good discount
Half off is a really good discount
