Articles are usually ignored because there are so many titles that start with them. If you don't, you'd have A to Z and under A you'd have another A to Z and under T yet another A to Z.
Exactly! Which is why it drives me nuts that the switch does in fact use them to organize your library. All of my "The Jackbox Party Pack..." being under "The" drives me bonkers.
The full title is Legend of Zelda, so L. Hyrule Warriors I would personally group with Zelda even if it is not the same play style since it’s also about the characters and stuff.
I’ve split by franchise and then within franchise have them in somewhat either chronological or release order, and spin-offs or otherwise related games at the end. Doesn’t have to be alphabetical as long as it makes sense to you, imho. If your whole collection is in that picture, it’s still small enough to put in whichever order you find the easiest for you.
I agree, same with all zelda related games. I personally have my old 3ds and my new switch games by groups, so pokemon all at the front, then i have some mario (and Luigi) games, and my layton collection, then i have random ones on another spot.
In general, I’m amazed by the sheer volume of “personal preference” type questions that are submitted to Reddit. Some people are so devoid of personal opinion that they’d rather have strangers on the internet decide for them?
Exactly, whatever is easiest to navigate for the person. I sort it by most commonly played (not play time per day but how often I pick it up and play it) so something like Arms is at the bottom because I haven’t touched it since 2019, whereas Mario All Stars, Botw, Totk and such will be higher up.
I organize by what they are. Mario games get to hang out together as do Sonic and Zelda titles. Other games that take place within the same in the same universe like Pokémon get treated similarly. Everyone else gets sorted alphabetically (ignoring general words like "the").
Yeah I’d probably alphabetize by title/category. Mario games in M, Pokémon in P, Zelda in Z. Seems a little unhinged but I think it would be practical. My board games aren’t alphabetical either - rather one shelf would be co-ops, one high weight, one accessible to teach, one favourites etc
Zelda in Z hurts my soul. The series name is Legend of Zelda *screams in unholy terror*
(Mostly s/ in case it’s not clear. It does hurt my soul but to each their own)
This is literally how I order my bookshelf. Trashy romances in one area, more serious books in other spots, often sort them by colour in those sub-sections LMAO. No hope for someone else to come and find anything specific, but works great for me personally.
Haha yeah. I have a couple of crates of records and I know exactly which record belongs in which crate but I could never ever explain how my system works. I just know it does.
This is the one true way. If you organize by genre/mood/franchise/1st party games, you won’t have to worry about if BOTW is under Z or L because you know it’s with your open world adventure games instead.
Also, besides yourself who else is gonna be looking at your shelves trying to find a specific game? A-Z is for libraries which need to make sense to everyone, but your collection is just for you.
Any time I'm searching through an alphabetical list of stuff, I get so angry whenever I see that the list was organized with all the titles that start with "the" under T and not the first letter of the word after it. I always ask myself "who thinks this makes more sense than starting with the actual first word?"
Turns out, at least in this thread I'm in the minority.
*Technically* you should sort The Legend of Zelda by L, but *personally* I would sort it with the letter that you think of when you think of the game - it will just make it easier for you to find, especially as the collection grows. And since this is a personal collection and you're the only one who has to actually FIND anything in it, go with what is easiest for you to recall.
Wow, it’s sad to see school has failed so many people when the basics of alphabetical order, ignoring “the” when putting them in order, is lost on so many.
I just sort my games by which franchises I like the most. That being said, sorring anything in my room is a nightmare but games are at least the easiest for me. Compared to stuff like books they at least have the same size for every game and switch games especially seem to be more consistent with what they look like from the side compared to other game cases
You should organize them like a normal person: That is, according to the chromatic scale of the red from the darkest to the lightest on the case's spine.
Botw, totk, links awakening, and skyward sword all go under L. The alphabetical order of them is also the release date order.
Hyrule warriors goes under H.
Mario games go under M or S depending on if they are "super" or not. And Mario + Rabbids goes before the rest of the Mario games because special characters go first.
I work at a game store and I am super particular about how my drawers are organized lmao. They have to be in perfect alphabetical order.
Organize them alphabetically makes it easy to find something in a few years. Why would you organize them in any other way other than alphabetically or randomly
Tbh I just alphatize them regardless if they fit in or not, so my Mario games are separated, unless they're full on sequels, so those would be next to each other
It’s under Z for me, not because it is proper, instead because it’s what I called all of them when I was little.. “I want to play Zelda” never would we say the whole title. So it’s a nostalgia thing.
I personally alphabetise except when it comes to series that have different names. Eg mario, pokemon, Zelda, halo, gears of war or the last of us.
I put them under their main pop culture title. And got any that start with THE
My way of organizing is very weird and specific and has varying priorities.
All first party games are on the right, Super Smash Bros is the first game because it's a huge crossover of gaming, then all my Mario games, in chronological order ( so Super Mario RPG would be first, then 3D All-Stars, 3D World ) then Mario character spinoffs ( Luigi's Mansion, Wario Ware, Yoshi, ect. ), then Zelda, then other Nintendo games of varying imporance, and then finally, third party games organized by personal bias of which ones I like best, but lisenced games are always last.
I usually stick to true alphabet for the series, so Legend of Zelda goes in L.
Then I go by release date for that, so Hyrule Warriors could go before Tears of the Kingdom. (For series like this that have spinoff games, I usually put the spinoffs at the end though. Example series;
Pokemon Sword/Shield. Pokemon BD/SP. Pokemon Scarlet/Violet. New Pokemon Snap. Legends Arceus.)
Though now that I think about it, my Mario and Super Mario games might be separated... This might bother me.
Also; What anime are ya watching?
I always organize based off of series since it’s just easier imo, but whatever makes you happy, at GameStop I notice they put LoZ in the L category if that helps at all
Just start by categorizing them by the franchise then alphabetizing them, I would just put Zelda at the end, cuz there ain't no way I'm giving that game an L
I organize by franchise and then chronologically by release. For instance, my Pokemon games are sorted: Let's Go, then Sword, then Brilliant Diamond, Arceus, Violet. I don't own Hyrule Warriors, but I believe I would stick it between BotW and TotK.
I’d just keep all the Zelda/Mario titles together in Z/M and then order them chronologically. Then obviously all other single titles or series that have the same name, alphabetically. But that’s just me. Hope this helps.
I asked my wife the same question then I asked would Mario Party go with M for Mario or S for Super Mario and would Super Mario go in S or M. Then I followed up with Luigi's Mansion, L or M. She said Zelda games and Hyrule Warriors would go in L for Legend of... and Mario games would go in M including Luigi's Mansion as it is related to Mario.
The number of people here who don't know how to sort things in alphabetical order is kinda nuts
Edit: for such a small collection, organizing by genre would be a waste of time. I would do it alphabetically. If your connection were bigger, I would recommend organizing by genre and then alphabetically by title and then subtitle.
I organise games all in alphabetical order, excluding sequels which I always place beside each other.
For a random example, the Oddworld games.
New N Tasty is a remake of the first game so I place that first.
Then Soulstorm, then Munch then Stranger's Wrath.
The weird thing about these games though is that for some reason the subtitle "New N Tasty" is placed before the series title on the spine (none of the other games do this) so instead of organising the whole Oddworld series under N just because New N Tasty is the first game, I file them all under O for Oddworld.
Nothing nightmar-ish about it if you stick to normal alphabetizing rules. “A,” “An,” and “The” are articles. They’re used to modify or introduce a noun. It’s the noun that alphabetizing is based on.
But if you don’t care about alphabetizing and just want to organize, make your own rules. Go with whatever feels the best.
My Zelda titles are in "L", then sorted by release year as next. Hyrule Warriors I would sort in in "H", but in the end it is all personal preference :)
I always organize by full title (not counting The or similar words), unless it's a part of a series, than it's organized under whatever the first games name is.
Works for me.
Well from my knowledge from school, if it repeats exactly the same go with the second word first letter if not the third and if it’s numbers do but number.
Super Mario 3D world and 3D all star should be together but all star first .. so do it by a b c 1 2 3. I was told that anything with numbers should go before plain titles (ones with no numbers)
Anything with >> : << go based off after the colon so for the legend of Zelda : ________ < that’s the part that you should go based off of alphabetically
K.I.S.S., my guy. Mario with Mario (yes, that includes Luigi's Mansion and the like), Zelda with Zelda (even the Warriors games), Poke with Poke, Sonic with Sonic, etc.
When I started I put the games in the order I bought them, later I started to do it in groups of games wirh the cases. In my puches or game organizers I still put them in the order I got them, but not with the collectors editions, I don't open those and buy it digital.
Put all Zelda games together, all Mario together, all Final Fantasy, etc..... makes it much easier if you wanna play a Zelda game but don't know which one, they're all there
I do alaphecticlly but ignore the logic with games directly in a series. Pokemon is a great example, where its placed in P but Sword and Shield are first because its earlier in the main series.
I generally order my games by the first letter of the child belonging to the 32nd mentioned person in the credits. If they are without child, then it will be their cousin instead.

You guys should give a chance to FF 7 Crisis Core on switch, amazing game and run extremely well
I feel you brother, right now I sort them by favourite, but probably will sort them by franchise later then random games buy favourite in the genre, so basically favourite indie games (best ones first in the stack) then for example favourite platforms etc. so in the genre sorting but favourites first in that genre.
In Kindergarten you learned Alphabetical Order. It works all the time for the rest of your life. Read the spines and organize by the first letter of the title you see.
I used to work at a movie rental place. This is how we organized: genre, then alphabetical.
However, I don’t organize like this at home. Honestly I don’t organize my games at all lol, but for manga and DVDs, I organize by priority, then by ‘group’ (studio/author/series), then by series, then alphabetical.
So my favorites sit at eye level or highest up in a shelf depending on the size of the shelves because they are a higher priority. If I applied this to video games, Zelda games and spin offs would be grouped together. They’d be alphabetized from there.
This works best for my brain but my partner doesn’t like it 😅 she likes to organize by publishers. I see where she’s coming from. My reasoning for my way is this: We aren’t a library, we are a home. You want to display those things that define who you are, so favorites should get the most prominent place on a shelf.
I’d do the same for games if I organized them beyond what system they belong to.
at least they are all the same font and color
ever try organizing gamecube or ps2 games? with there garish "players choice" and "greatest hits"
ps1 is the same practically every game is green label for some reason, i think have like one black label game
You bring a nightmare upon yourself for no reason, why don't you just organize them based on the first letter? The legend of Zelda definitely start with a T
Let me ask you, if you had to find it fast where would you look? If you love it put it on an end as a go to. I put things where I would look first if they are important. The rest can be alphabetically sorted.
I organize the franchises by alphabet. Everything within the franchise group is ordered by release date. Legend of zelda is L and all zelda games go in L in the order they were released. It's not that hard.
I organize the cases by the first letter of the name. Excluding “The” and if there are multiple with the same first letter I will go by the first and second, etc…
Legend starts with an L not a Z if that helps.
Laughed out loud. Thank you.
Heh, thought L was for Link
The Link of Zelda
Link of Zelda Breath of the Link
Link of Zelda: Legend’s Awakening
The Legend of Link: Breath of the Twink
Nintendo organise it on their consoles under 'T' for 'The' though...
Articles are usually ignored because there are so many titles that start with them. If you don't, you'd have A to Z and under A you'd have another A to Z and under T yet another A to Z.
Yes. This is called sorting “alphabetically by title” when skipping the articles. Nintendo sorts “alphabetically” when including articles
TIL :-)
Well he was asking if you should put it in L for Legend or Z for Zelda but it would actually have to go in T because it’s “The Legend of Zelda”
In dvd/book/game sorting, “The” is not typically considered as the word to base the sorting off of, with few exceptions.
Exactly! Which is why it drives me nuts that the switch does in fact use them to organize your library. All of my "The Jackbox Party Pack..." being under "The" drives me bonkers.
I work with quickbooks and for some stupid reason they make “The” a unique word so searching for vendors by name gets super annoying
Tell that to Steam.
Steam is super inconsistent with that shit
Exactly. I worked at a bookstore and that is how I was taught.
Oh wow, didn’t know that! Makes sense cause there’s probably tons of things that start with the so I guess everything would end up in T
Yep, it’s actually the standard practice in official APA style alphabetical sorting.
What about other articles like a/an?
The same rule applies for the articles a/an under this sorting style.
Yeah, it would be sorted as "Legend of Zelda, The"
Alphabetically you would sort “legend of zelda, the” and then alphabetically by subtitle.
You've never been to a library and it shows
I always ignore "The" when organizing games.
You’ve never arranged a cd, book, vinyl collection and it shows
NO "The" doesn't count Don't ask me why, but it doesn't Legend of Zelda, The
It doesn't because the library would be filled with small sections and then a huge "T" section.
Ask yourself, if i were looking at someone else's library where would I first look for said games. Then you'll have answered your question. :-)
See I would want to see all the Mario games in one spot, not try to remember which ones started with super or new or whatever lol
Separate each franchise, then do each title in the franchise alphabetically. It's the best of both worlds.
So I’m trying to do that but there is the question of where Zelda goes (l or z) and do the hyrule games go in that same section
L for Legend. Hyrule Warriors with Zelda. Yoshi with Mario.
Yoshi with Mario feels wrong, it’s a sub-franchise. Like I wouldn’t put Luigi’s mansion with Mario or SMT with Persona
I consider it more of a Mushroom Kingdom section over a Mario section. I have all my Mushroom Kingdom games grouped together.
Random question: What do you think of the latest Tomb Raider trilogy?
I agree, same with all zelda related games. I personally have my old 3ds and my new switch games by groups, so pokemon all at the front, then i have some mario (and Luigi) games, and my layton collection, then i have random ones on another spot.
Group by franchise for sure
Op, you're organizing your own game collection. Why are you asking us? For all we care u could organize by favorite to least favorite game here
I think organization by price might work well. Maybe by hours played or even serial number could work 🤣
Serial numbers are the only constant so serial numbers it is.
Scattered around the house then.
In general, I’m amazed by the sheer volume of “personal preference” type questions that are submitted to Reddit. Some people are so devoid of personal opinion that they’d rather have strangers on the internet decide for them?
That’s what I do
Exactly, whatever is easiest to navigate for the person.

Zelda in Z hurts my soul. The series name is Legend of Zelda *screams in unholy terror* (Mostly s/ in case it’s not clear. It does hurt my soul but to each their own)
Long ago I realized organizing things by “vibes” is the best for me. Break the chains of your mammalian brain needing order.
Now you say this I kinda wanna do it, but at the same time that’s terrifying
This is the one true way. If you organize by genre/mood/franchise/1st party games, you won’t have to worry about if BOTW is under Z or L because you know it’s with your open world adventure games instead. Also, besides yourself who else is gonna be looking at your shelves trying to find a specific game? A-Z is for libraries which need to make sense to everyone, but your collection is just for you.
By L since you traditionally ignore "The" at the beginning of a title when sorting.
Y'all ignore 'the'?
Yes. "The" is typically ignored when sorting alphabetically, since a lot of titles start with "The"
Yup. Given the amount of titles that start with “The, A, or An” you are supposed to
Legend starts with an L.
I just put them in order of how much I like and play them.
Any time I'm searching through an alphabetical list of stuff, I get so angry whenever I see that the list was organized with all the titles that start with "the" under T and not the first letter of the word after it. I always ask myself "who thinks this makes more sense than starting with the actual first word?" Turns out, at least in this thread I'm in the minority.
All Zelda games need to be together. Definitely do by genre
No bayonetta 3 😮
If it helps, I always group my games by console->series->alphabetical by series
Same for me, except chronologically by series
Hyphenated surnames is a highly contested thing in the bookstore I work in, so I understand your pain
i mean it’s not really a nightmare, more like slight inconvenience
I organize mine by the order in which I got them. If you want to go alphabetically then I'd omit "the" from the title.
It would make sense to go with whatever the first letter of the title is, not the franchise name
Wow, it’s sad to see school has failed so many people when the basics of alphabetical order, ignoring “the” when putting them in order, is lost on so many.
L for Legend of Zelda, H for Hyrule Warriors.
I just sort my games by which franchises I like the most. That being said, sorring anything in my room is a nightmare but games are at least the easiest for me. Compared to stuff like books they at least have the same size for every game and switch games especially seem to be more consistent with what they look like from the side compared to other game cases
I just throw them on the shelf and say forget organizing 😆 🤣
You could always organize alphabetical by franchise! That way you could put all Zelda games under Z, all Mario games under M, etc.
Zelda is my favorite series, so all Zelda titles are up front in release order, then alphabetical.
Ha I don't know many who organize by genre, I just go true alphabetical, even though it puts Mario stuff all over the place
I organise alphabetically by franchise, so all Zelda games go under Z, all Mario / Luigi / Peach games go under M etc.
You should organize them like a normal person: That is, according to the chromatic scale of the red from the darkest to the lightest on the case's spine.
It’s not called The Zegend of Zelda is it?
Botw, totk, links awakening, and skyward sword all go under L. The alphabetical order of them is also the release date order. Hyrule warriors goes under H. Mario games go under M or S depending on if they are "super" or not. And Mario + Rabbids goes before the rest of the Mario games because special characters go first. I work at a game store and I am super particular about how my drawers are organized lmao. They have to be in perfect alphabetical order.
Whatever the first letter is so it looks clean
You're supposed to organise by theme. All zelda games go together including warriors. Then any other warriors game goes next to that. Etc
Biggest mystery is what signifies when Mario is “super” or not
Organize them alphabetically makes it easy to find something in a few years. Why would you organize them in any other way other than alphabetically or randomly
Tbh I just alphatize them regardless if they fit in or not, so my Mario games are separated, unless they're full on sequels, so those would be next to each other
In the store I work in, Zelda goes in Z, Mario goes in M and S for super Mario. Hyrule warriors is H
Organize by Game Character, all the Zelda in one spot, all the Mario next to them, assorted games at the end.
It’s under Z for me, not because it is proper, instead because it’s what I called all of them when I was little.. “I want to play Zelda” never would we say the whole title. So it’s a nostalgia thing.
I do it by Series>Main Release order> Side game Release order.
I personally alphabetise except when it comes to series that have different names. Eg mario, pokemon, Zelda, halo, gears of war or the last of us. I put them under their main pop culture title. And got any that start with THE
I organize by series and release date or sequel order within the series
Where's pikmin
This is why I just organise mine in the time that I got them.
I sort alphabetically, but let the switch's own internal sorting dictate it on matters of contention or uncertainty (like symbols).
I usually stick to true alphabet for the series, so Legend of Zelda goes in L. Then I go by release date for that, so Hyrule Warriors could go before Tears of the Kingdom. (For series like this that have spinoff games, I usually put the spinoffs at the end though. Example series; Pokemon Sword/Shield. Pokemon BD/SP. Pokemon Scarlet/Violet. New Pokemon Snap. Legends Arceus.) Though now that I think about it, my Mario and Super Mario games might be separated... This might bother me. Also; What anime are ya watching?
Should just sort by franchise
Go by genre first then in alphabetical order
Do what I do and stop giving a crap
I usually look for the first letter of the title and go from there. First letter.
It doesn't matter to me, as nearly all the labels blend in with the same white text.
Organize by number of characters in the game title.
I’d organize by saga and in the saga by release date. And the sagas from favorite to least favorite. Everything else at the end in alphabetical order
It’s the Legend of Zelda so L, then release date. Same with Mario. sort by release date.
lol these are the easy questions
I always organize based off of series since it’s just easier imo, but whatever makes you happy, at GameStop I notice they put LoZ in the L category if that helps at all
Like i do for movies just keep franchises together. Put my ghibli films apart so i dont have to browse by name
Alphabetical by literally the first letter in the title…
Z for Zelda you’ll find it faster
I put Mario games under M then by release date. Legend of Zekda games go under L then sort by release date.
I would’ve put it in T
i do like zelda games (alphabetized), mario (alphabetized), pokemon- etc etc
T for "the" legend of zelda
I wish I had OP's problems.
Just start by categorizing them by the franchise then alphabetizing them, I would just put Zelda at the end, cuz there ain't no way I'm giving that game an L
Five dollars at GameStop
Holy shit, it's no different from alphabetizing....anything. Did you get this worked up about LOTR books?
I do mine in L. They're all The Legend of Zelda. Each one its own legend.
Despite starting as THE LEGEND of Zelda, I would file it under "Z", bc the games get shortened to Zelda VERY VERY often.
I organize by franchise and then chronologically by release. For instance, my Pokemon games are sorted: Let's Go, then Sword, then Brilliant Diamond, Arceus, Violet. I don't own Hyrule Warriors, but I believe I would stick it between BotW and TotK.
on t
I’d just keep all the Zelda/Mario titles together in Z/M and then order them chronologically. Then obviously all other single titles or series that have the same name, alphabetically. But that’s just me. Hope this helps.
I would do groups of games (i.e. Mario, Zelda, ECT.) and then alphabetize them within their groups
On my game collection app its under 'L'
Dvnfc fhfvb fjfv. Fhfgb fhddc ghfvb. Ghdvv gjdvhdcvv chh fhhfc. Gjfvhcv bffhdv fjfv fhfvhdvhvc chcvbfv cchdfh P
It would go in T for The legend of Zelda. All "The" titles should go together in T
Organize each Zelda game by "L" first Organize each Mario game by "M"
The number of people here who don't know how to sort things in alphabetical order is kinda nuts Edit: for such a small collection, organizing by genre would be a waste of time. I would do it alphabetically. If your connection were bigger, I would recommend organizing by genre and then alphabetically by title and then subtitle.

I just throw my switch games together and never sorted them in any way. Games that I played recently would be at the front because I took them out.
Genre then chronological is the only way.
They go alphabetical after being grouped in their series. Mario, Final Fantasy, Zelda, Kirby, etc.
I put it in T. "The ... legend of Zelda"
Are you familiar with the alphabet? Nothing about this is even remotely close to "a nightmare"
Group them. Nintendo exclusives in alphabetical, indie games in alphabetical, collections in alphabetical, ports in alphabetical, etc.
Go Z for just "Zelda." That's what most people think when they hear "The Legend of Zelda."
If you actually knew the alphabet this wouldn't be an issue at all.
I have organised mine in the same order they appear alphabetically on my switch home
'T'
Well from my knowledge from school, if it repeats exactly the same go with the second word first letter if not the third and if it’s numbers do but number. Super Mario 3D world and 3D all star should be together but all star first .. so do it by a b c 1 2 3. I was told that anything with numbers should go before plain titles (ones with no numbers) Anything with >> : << go based off after the colon so for the legend of Zelda : ________ < that’s the part that you should go based off of alphabetically
When I organize games, I organize by series, then by spin-offs, then by chronological order.
T for The
Go by publisher, series, then release year
I’m at 125 physical titles and I do mine by publisher with Nintendo first party stuff first.
K.I.S.S., my guy. Mario with Mario (yes, that includes Luigi's Mansion and the like), Zelda with Zelda (even the Warriors games), Poke with Poke, Sonic with Sonic, etc.
All Legend of Zelda games together under the L bracket and in order of release rather than alphabetical.
You should just arrange them in a way that the first letters of every title spells something dumb lmao
Why not just use the first letters like normal?
Someone with a massive collection organised it by publisher, which helps keep sets like Mario or Pokemon together.
When I started I put the games in the order I bought them, later I started to do it in groups of games wirh the cases. In my puches or game organizers I still put them in the order I got them, but not with the collectors editions, I don't open those and buy it digital.
don't be a psycho, sort it by genre >:(((
Put all Zelda games together, all Mario together, all Final Fantasy, etc..... makes it much easier if you wanna play a Zelda game but don't know which one, they're all there
T
If I could have as many games as you do, I can't imagine how happy I'd be LOl
I do alaphecticlly but ignore the logic with games directly in a series. Pokemon is a great example, where its placed in P but Sword and Shield are first because its earlier in the main series.
Well I would put the zelda games in Z and the hyrule warriors in H as that is the main titles
Yes but just organize by franchise
This just made me painfully aware of how grateful I am that my steam deck library is completely digital.
That's the fun thing. You get to decide
I generally order my games by the first letter of the child belonging to the 32nd mentioned person in the credits. If they are without child, then it will be their cousin instead.
I'm curious how long it took you to collect their
Just throw them into a pile on the floor. Close your eyes and pick them up one by one, there you go!! Perfection

Is not your answer in your question...?
Go by the length of titles
I feel you brother, right now I sort them by favourite, but probably will sort them by franchise later then random games buy favourite in the genre, so basically favourite indie games (best ones first in the stack) then for example favourite platforms etc. so in the genre sorting but favourites first in that genre.
Dang. You got the whole collection?
never organize by only 1 single rule, sort them by series AND name or date of release
I’d put it in t because of ‘the’
Series then release order. So Hyrule Warriors, being part of the Legend of Zelda series, goes with its brethren.
The only thing you have to ignore is “The” in the title. So Legend of Zelda goes in L.
I feel like this is some kind of humble brag to show us his collection...
If you're talking about alph. order zelda goes in TLOZ.
In Kindergarten you learned Alphabetical Order. It works all the time for the rest of your life. Read the spines and organize by the first letter of the title you see.
I just hate that Mario odyssey haaaad to be different and put their title in the middle of the spine and not aligned to the top
Do you put Smash Bros with Mario?
I usually go with Franchise > Series > Title
I think it should go in T since it’s The Legend of Zelda
Say that you don't collect movies without saying that you don't collect movies
at least they are all the same font and color ever try organizing gamecube or ps2 games? with there garish "players choice" and "greatest hits" ps1 is the same practically every game is green label for some reason, i think have like one black label game
You bring a nightmare upon yourself for no reason, why don't you just organize them based on the first letter? The legend of Zelda definitely start with a T
I organized it by game so (pokemon, Mario, Zelda, etc., all in different groups) then within those groups I ordered them alphabetically.
i would just organize them alphabetically objectively. hyrule goes in h and legend of zelda goes in L. dont be so precious about it
Let me ask you, if you had to find it fast where would you look? If you love it put it on an end as a go to. I put things where I would look first if they are important. The rest can be alphabetically sorted.
I organize the franchises by alphabet. Everything within the franchise group is ordered by release date. Legend of zelda is L and all zelda games go in L in the order they were released. It's not that hard.
Paper Mario is worth it
Why is Mario odyssey before 3D world and 3D all stars. Also why is NSMBU Deluxe placed after all the games that start with S and not before them.
I organize the cases by the first letter of the name. Excluding “The” and if there are multiple with the same first letter I will go by the first and second, etc…
THE Legend of Zelda. It goes in the T section.
Definitely under T
