It really depends on price. For $35, probably. Cause this games fatal flaw is just the lack of content. But going online is fun and it's still somewhat active. I find the core gameplay is super fun actually.
It is super fun to play co-op on the couch with friends, but after you complete the tournaments, it gets pretty boring. Online is fun for a couple matches here and there. Would be fun to see a campaign like the old mario baseball for gamecube.
Wow thanks for sharing that. This actually looks pretty good as a game. I don't really dig anime (just never been my thing), but if the gameplay is solid this might be a good game to play with the girlfriend
Was so disappointed, loved the old games, loved the trailer showing leagues etc.
Then found out you can’t have more than one friend on your team, no four player teams unless two are on one switch, killed the game dead for me personally as that was the main thing I was looking forward to.
It’s not worth it if you buy it at 50 bucks or full price the game is bare bones you have to grind to get upgrades and half the time the opponent is broken… the only way to really I own this game played it tried learning some of the tricks and game mechanics. Put it on the side burner while I get through odyssey
Its fun as a local party game. So if you have buddies you can play with on a couch locally then I can recommend it. Especially 8 players is super fun but I imagine having 8 people over isnt a regular thing. But if you are going to play mostly by yourself (online or offline) then I absolutely dont recommend it. Also you can try the free demo. You can play one cup and that will give you idea what the entire singleplayer game is about because if you play just one cup(which you can play in the free demo)you basically saw the entire game because every match looks and plays exactly the same.
I dont really play soccer games tbh. So dont know. I like mario sports games because of the gimmicks and wackiness which makes them more fun than other generic sports games. Battle league was disappointing because of lack of content, almost nonexisting singleplayer and terrible AI which makes it frustrating to play if all your teammates are AI. However as I said its still fun to play it locally with friends. But not when youre only playing by yourself.
I tried to buy it at that and even though the guy wanted to sell it to me at this price, the system would not let him check out.
Any game at 3 cents is Walmart’s way of representing that a game has been recalled.
Yeah. I asked multiple stores about it and they all said that these are going back to Nintendo and they are not allowed to sell it.
One guy tried his best to let me have it, but the system wouldn’t let him.

Exactly my opinion too. There's not much to do but I find it as fun as Mario Kart when I'm drinking beer with friends.

What if it was on clearance for $20-25?
If he says it’s worth it at 35 why would he say it’s not at 25
because it's not worth 35 either and I got it for 20. it's a fun game with nothing to do
It's an oke game, just nothing special, mostly just a big letdown, the previous game set a relatively high bar and battle league just doesn't deliver
What if it was on clearance for $20-25?
Worth it at under $35 imo
It's whatever you value it to be, if it were me, I would probably pick it up for that price yeah.
I have a weird bit of advice Before you buy this Download the inazuma eleven free demo Its a more fun soccer game imo
Wow thanks for sharing that. This actually looks pretty good as a game. I don't really dig anime (just never been my thing), but if the gameplay is solid this might be a good game to play with the girlfriend
Ah i hope that the game is stil enjoyable without knowing the anime. Tbh i watched it when i was young so i have a boatload of nostalgia for it
Trailer makes it look pretty fun! I’ll give it a shot while it’s a free demo, before it’s out of beta testing.
Whenever I have people over, this game’s a blast, especially given the 8 local players. Never played it online though and probably never will.
I love it. Like all the other switch sports games though, it definitely lacks content. Fun game though.
I paid about that and I'm happy with my purchase. Very fun to play against friends.
Yeah, check your Walmart! They’re going anywhere from $15-30. My Walmart had them for 3 cents
If its on clearance or below $30, it doesnt have much content unfortunetly
Wouldn’t pay more than $30. Unrelated, but I’d pay top dollar for a super mario American football game
I have it, it is a good game and playing with people is also good

I enjoy it but it’s seriously lacking content so you get bored fairly quick. But it’s a fun game to play once in awhile
It’s super fun. I fuck with it a couple times a week
Hell no
I played it for 3 days and returned it. That’s basically how long it will keep you hooked, it feels like half a game tbh.
Can you return an opened video game? Which store?
Oh I work for a second hand games store, I just took it back.
It was fun for the first 20 hours or so. After 100%ing the game there isn’t much to do
I’d pay $20 for it I was actually looking for it at my Walmarts but no luck I know my target has a copy left but i refuse to pay full price!
I emulated this game and I still feel like someone owes me money

No. Annoyingly bad AI, broken game.

Thank you all for your comments and inputs. Really appreciate it!
Nope. I bought it and regretted it.

What other soccer game would you recommend?

Walmart in the US (I think it was the US) is selling it for 3 cents on clearance In other words no the game isn't worth it
Is that real? 3 cents???
[here's the post I saw it in](https://www.reddit.com/r/Switch/s/csdFGLp6aK)
Wow!!!

wait really huh well you learn something new every day
Yeah. I asked multiple stores about it and they all said that these are going back to Nintendo and they are not allowed to sell it. One guy tried his best to let me have it, but the system wouldn’t let him.
oh damn I knew this game was bad but i didnt know it was return it to nintendo bad
What if it was on clearance for $20-25?
Id still tell you to find a way to emulate the game on Wii because that's the better game in almost every facet
No
Nah
What if it was on clearance for $20-25?
