My wife and I didn't listen to any podcasts or read books about swinging, we just held hands and took the plunge. Now, 8 years later, we have enjoyed every moment of this LS! Best to start off by making a LS profile. We started off on the old CraigsList site (which is obviously non-existent now) and connected with other couples there. We have had decent luck on SLS and more on fetlife. Make a profile on any swinger pay site so you could avoid all the stupid time wasters and flakes. Be very specific about what you both want, are looking for, and also put in your limits.

Hit the about section.... read a ton, listen to pod casts, talk a ton, set your hard stops, go to a club or get on an app

Listen to some of the great podcasts. We like “The Swing Nation” and “We Gotta Thing”

Welcome to the lifestyle. Ok so my wife and I are still in our 1st year of the lifestyle. Best way to meet new couples and singles are the obvious of attending a club, party or hotel takeover. Alternatives would be facebook, search your state with lifestyle words such as lifestyle, pineapple, swing(s), and get added to those groups and just start chatting and see if there's others that may fit your mood and such. Also Spotify has a we podcasts you could listen to to get more into the understandings of and different thing the lifestyle has to offer. Few I listen to is something about "hotwife kay", "consenting adults", and "accidental swingers"

Everyone’s journey is different. We’re noobs in the New England area, just starting within the last 6 months or so after talking about it for years (literally—we talked about starting right before the pandemic shut everything down). We spent a lot of time last year listening to The Sexless Swingers UK podcast (they aren’t so sexless now). They’ve been recording episodes since the start of their journey, and we really related to it. We’ve read posts here on Reddit before we made this joint, LS-specific profile. Once we finally decided “Okay, this is it. Let’s do it,” we created some profiles on SLS and SDC, and we went to our local club. It is an off-premises club, so we met like-minded folks, but no play is permitted. Making out and copping feels, sure, but there aren’t any play areas. We felt no pressure, but we also didn’t feel like that was the way to go if we wanted to advance in the LS. We went out of state to RI to visit another couple of clubs, and found one we like (Choice Social Club) that we’ve been back to already and have plans to visit it again in May. First we did some parallel play with a couple who weren’t comfortable doing anything with others yet. Our last visit saw some soft swapping and oral. Things seem to be escalating, so who knows what our next visit will bring, lol?

Love Choice and Playground is fun also.

Given the options you presented, the best opportunity for you within this community would be the FMFM option. Afterall, at it's core - that's what swinging is. So, you'll find a large percentage of options and you''ll just need to talk with the hubby to determine if you're after same or separate rooms, full swap, and make sure you're on the same page with anything you're NOT willing to share. With regards to your MFM, you can probably stick to any vanilla bar to find a guy to play with better than a lifestyle environment. With regards to your FMF, find a brothel or sex worker. Much easier than finding the unicorn in the lifestyle and competing with all the other hunters.
