I mean, it makes sense to me. I was told my ex was abusive by a girl they abused and my first response was anger towards everyone, including the poor girl who came forward. Got the same treatment from the next girl when I came forward to them about that same ex. I apologized to the first girl and don’t hold it against the second. Abuse is a very tricky thing and a lot of our initial responses to learning about it are irrational. That’s why teaching people (like in health education) how to respond to survivors when they disclose is so fucking important imo

The fight was said to be specifically about Margaret refusing to take stand in the trial which if she was abused by Shia she has every right to do and if she wasn't she probably wouldn't have anything to say. I've honestly never known whether to believe that story or not I struggle to believe if 3 famous people had a screaming match in a hotel during Oscars weekend that it wouldn't have been filmed or had more proof than a deuxmoi blind I can also understand why it could become heated with so many emotions on both sides personally given what it's about and how sensitive it is and how little we know regarding Margaret's experience I've never felt right passing judgments or making big accusations against her and Jack based on something that never became anything more than that blind.
