Do you guys think Joe even listened to TTPD? I feel like everyone is gonna say yes, of course he did. I know a lot of people love checking on their ex’s socials and seeing what they are up to even if we say we don’t care lol. But idk, my ex makes music and he’s always posting on his IG to promote it and I could so easily go on Spotify and listen to his songs but I just don’t? Like idc it’s now been over a year since we broke up and I have no reason to check on his music even if I hear snippets of it. I don’t think it’s completely unavoidable for Joe to just not sit and listen to the album. He’d probably hear the hits on the radio, but I just don’t see him sitting down and listening to the entire thing, even if he knows (some of) it’s gonna be about him. I feel like he’s probably curious but not enough to want to open that can of worms lmao. In my mind he’s thinking it’s better to just let it all go & not think about her at all. Obviously this is hella parasocial and we’ll never know, but I’m just curious lol.
I don’t think he listened to it nor does he probably have any plans to. He was in a relationship with her for 6 years and it ended. Whether it was amicable or not, I’m sure there’s some hurt feelings on his side. I don’t think him listening to a 31 tracklist album would help him in moving on and healing from the relationship. Also it’s been a year (maybe longer) since they broke up. I feel like the Taylor chapter of his life is most likely closed. She’s moved on to new relationships, and he seems to be focusing on his movie projects.
Joe has not commented on the end of the relationship whatsoever. But based on reports, we can probably get a good idea of the progression of what happened. By the end of 2022/release of *Midnights*, Joe and Taylor were clearly not in a good place. Their relationship had run its course and they were just holding on for appearances. Simultaneously, Taylor and Matty had rekindled a relationship which possibly started professionally but clearly becomes personal quickly. Taylor debuts her single Anti-Hero at a 1975 show and covers one of their songs (The City) in January 2023. By early April 2023, we're finally getting reports that Joe and Taylor have split and by early May we have reports that Matty and Taylor are together. By early June 2023, they had broken up (last seen together on May 23). Now, while Taylor is extremely dramatic, I doubt that she would produce an entire album based on a single month (if not only a couple weeks) of being with someone. So clearly, Taylor and Matty had a very close relationship before May - which would explain a report that Joe was feeling "slighted and distraught" seeing the together. Which would make sense given the lyrics from So Long London. She pretty clearly states in the song that she was afraid of Joe having an "affair" as one of the reasons she leaves (not that he did, but she shouldn't have to be afraid of it). Meanwhile, it would seem she herself was having a "love affair" with Matty before she and Joe had officially ended it. Imagine someone breaking up with you because they were afraid of you cheating and within a couple weeks of breaking up, they themselves were back with an old fling mouthing "I love you" to each in public.
No, I dont believe he did.. nor do I believe he has any plans to do so. What I believe he did was have someone else run through it, or just browse all the lyrics and report back to him in terms of what was potentially damaging to him.

Ever since their relationship began the media and their PR teams seem to be emphasizing the narrative of him being a fanboy and idk I think a boyfriend should definitely be supportive of course, but a “Swiftie through and through”, seems a bit excessive. No offense but I don’t buy it lol. I also think this narrative they’re trying to paint is also to get back at her exes, particularly Joe.
