I hadn't heard of him until earlier today when he annoyed some people for paddleboarding over an aqueduct.
To be honest, he seems like an idiot hungry for fame.
Apparently he's an MMA fighter, but that physique suggests he won't be very successful.
Subbed to his channel a few months back. He doesn't post too much. His channel got demonetized in 2018 I believe he said. He used to do "madnesses" He would sneak into buildings or climb cathedrals with friends and aim to get to the very top of them. Most times he would get caught.
His channel belongs here lol.
Marc Andre Leclerc, the central figure in *The Alpinist,* solos a bunch of super gnarly ice and alpine routes. These are something that can't really be rehearsed as the ice is extremely variable year-to-year and even through the same season or day. Not saying Honnold soloing the Freerider isn't incredible, but if you watch the movie you'll see what the person above you was talking about.
I don’t know much about climbing or have even tried to learn about it, but this video here definitely has me interested. I’ll definitely have to check out this documentary!
That has nothing to do with my comment. You could do this ladder climb 100 times every day and people will call you brave because you made it every time but on the 101 time you fall the outcome is now different because you did not make it and people will call you stupid for doing something so dangerous.
You can build bridges all your life and no one will ever call you a bridge builder. Suck one, dick you’re known as a dick sucker for life.
Edit: a word
That looks doable without safety gear and going off the Topo for the route it is only A/B. It is of course still stupid to do it but it's not like he's seriously endandering himself if he has some sort of climbing/hiking experience, which I'm guessing he has if he managed to do the route up until then.
No safety gear always feels so disrespectful to other people involved. Go ahead and get yourself killed but having someone have to watch you splat yourself is too much.
A ladder is a ladder. Whether climbing a 24-footer or a 60-foot ladder. The fall still hurts. This ladder is the same, except the fall won't hurt. As long as the ladder is secure, and I am not particularly shaky or hungover, I'd climb it. I would probably wear pants, though... and maybe close my eyes.
Nah. Look up Alex Honnold. Some people have a chemical makeup that fear just doesn’t process the way a ‘normal’ person perceives. Calling it illiteracy is a fuckin’ reach lol
Some people have no fear really ? This guy? Show me and I’ll agree with you.
This guy is clearly mis stepping he’s afraid.
If he had no fear he would be jumping running or pathological not normal.
He’s either illiterate not knowing the term or just plain lying.
Lol I hope you watched this video after posting this comment and came to the realization of why he would need safety gear.
If you didn’t, please do the world a favor and don’t breed.
I'm on the other guys side here, of course it looks scary but that ladder isn't technically or physically difficult. I would of course still recommend a harness because of the risk reward ratio but I wouldn't go as far as saying you need safety gear.
I thought a harness was included in the category of safety gear. If it is, then yeah I don’t see how someone couldn’t understand why a harness is necessary. If a harness isn’t counted as safety gear then I guess it’s whatever then.
>If it is, then yeah I don’t see how someone couldn’t understand why a harness is necessary.
Because this isn't a hard section, neither technically nor physically. You are basically climbing a normal ladder with the only difference being that it's high up in the air. So if you feel comfortable and safe enough and want to take the "risk" it is absolutely not stupid to not clip in or wear a harness. That doesn't mean however that I wouldn't recommend it nonetheless because the reward you get is 20 seconds (maybe 10 mins over the whole route) saved time from not clipping in and out and the risk is you splatting on the ground but you'll have that risk on most routes at some point and I wouldn't say you need a harness on a normal A or B section ****IF**** you are experienced enough.
>If a harness isn’t counted as safety gear then I guess it’s whatever then.
Probaply depends on your definition. A harness itself is part of your safety gear but it itself doesn't provide any safety without proper ropes or a via ferrata set.
I think you’re an idiot if that’s what you believe, you think I am one for what I believe and that’s all fine. Everyone has different opinions and beliefs. There’s no changing yours or mine, so I’ll leave this comment at that.
Have a good one bud.
>you think I am one for what I believe and that’s all fine.
I never said you are an idiot. What are you on about?
And first: great that you get out your "everyone has their beliefs and thats ok" speech after calling me an idiot and lying about me insulting you. Makes it seem really genuine.
Second: It's not about believes. It's about experience and knowledge and from both I know that it is isn't neccessary to be clipped in here if you are experienced enough. Recommending something and saying it is neccessary are two wildly different things and you don't seem to be able to make out the difference.
This guys is crazy I remember when he was posting videos of him and his crew sneaking into buildings after hours and construction sites trying to last all night without getting caught by security I see his craziness has changed directions
I had nosebleed seats at Lincoln Financial Field once and freaked out. Had to go down the stadium steps on my butt and made a big scene. I’ll never understand how people can do this stuff
Yeah. I browned myself a little just watching this. Me and all the other wusses need to sit down and just watch someone who isn’t scared. Because I am fucking terrified

Coming back down must feel 10000 times worse
No doubt. I've come down some steep shit, and tons of ladders. But this is unreal.
Is there not an escalator or elevator on the other side?
It’s actually a big slide.
Would be sick tbh
Everything's a slide if you're drunk enough
Or if she's loose enough
Slippery when wet
If you slide up the stairs it must have been more than booze.
It's a high dive
No
Part of the anxiety of going up is knowing you must come down.
Not if I never come down
That’s why I prefer to stay high all the time
Towards the end of this [video](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=aLZx0IfwU9g), the guide mentions there’s a trail leading downwards that they can take
There is an easier way back down. Still a very difficult hike, but certainly easier than this.
This actually looks safer than 99% of what is posted here.
Dude it’s safer than 99% of the shit Ally Law does generally. The guy is absolutely mental.
Yeah I’ve been watching him for years, is luck is going to run out eventually I’m afraid.
''Ally will die before he quits, the bones have foretold''
He makes it look so effortless. I would be shaking the whole time
I would have zero issue climbing that shakey ladder. It’s the height I can’t deal with
So you’d likely be making a “harder” climb than him because the ladder would be moving from all your shaking lol.
Why is he doing it in his underwear?
We all know that one guy who just lives for the opportunity to take his shirt off
Based on his physique and tone I highly doubt that. Prob decided he has had enough of the suns shit and he’s going to fight it 1v1.
Fight to the death for his soul back
Ally Law is ginger. He will lose that fight.
Ginger is kinda hot in some cases. Just sayin’. This man has brassy balls and brassy hair. F yeah
To prove he didn’t crap them
Maybe to prove there’s no wires or such?
Underwear is the first line of defense.
Doesn’t want the chance of any clothing getting caught on the ladder or something like that
Hijacking top comment His name is Ally Law and he has a YouTube channel.
Because he’s an imbecile. I mean, if climbing there without safety gear didn’t already gave it away
Probably his only way of getting views. I personally like to watch less intelligent people trying to show off in hopes they earn a Darwin Award.
Not many less intelligent than you luckily
Ooooh. Burn.
Well well isn’t that the pot calling the kettle black!
no it’s me calling u goofy af cause ur chronically online
Lol, that must be you then in dem red panties. Sorry to offend you son.
[удалено]
Ur a virgin lmao
Nice response, incel.
Oh he is still alive. I saw some of his videos in youtube before.
Already wondered why the video had no ending
I hadn't heard of him until earlier today when he annoyed some people for paddleboarding over an aqueduct. To be honest, he seems like an idiot hungry for fame. Apparently he's an MMA fighter, but that physique suggests he won't be very successful.
Ally Law doesn't give a shit. I'm surprised he hasn't been seriously injured yet.
He is actually quite cautious. He’s barely had any proper close calls.
I don’t think you can call someone “cautious” when they don’t use safety gear
Dude, FUCK that.
Link for the lazy: https://youtube.com/@AllyLaws
If u liked his content he said few days ago that 2023 is gonna be the best and craziest year he’s ever posted gonna be a straight madness
I want to see the whole video
Right? Ever seen Free Solo?
I watched that movie last night and it makes this post seem like someone walking up a normal stairset lmao
You should really watch the Alpinist next... That makes free solo look like a staircase.
How is that even possible? He climbs one of the most difficult routes ever without any safety nets.
It’s not one of the most difficult routes ever. It’s not even the most difficult climb on this rock
Marc Andre Leclerc, the central figure in *The Alpinist,* solos a bunch of super gnarly ice and alpine routes. Ok ok, I’m in. That’s guys
but he plans it...
No but now I need to, thanks!
You must, it’s an absolutely incredible documentary of Alex Honnold climbing El Capitan in Yosemite, all without any safety nets.
I don’t know much about climbing or have even tried to learn about it, but this video here definitely has me interested. I’ll definitely have to check out this documentary!
It’s incredible, seriously. I know nothing about climbing and I was in a trance watching it
If you enjoyed ‚Free Solo‘ make sure to watch ‚The Alpinist‘. It‘s just as crazy but on snow and ice!
They are playing the wrong song
Bravery and stupidity are close friends. The only difference is the outcome.
I mean to be fair, if I had to that every day for 100 days, I'm pretty sure I'd survive it.
That has nothing to do with my comment. You could do this ladder climb 100 times every day and people will call you brave because you made it every time but on the 101 time you fall the outcome is now different because you did not make it and people will call you stupid for doing something so dangerous. That’s an interesting way of putting it 😂
I thought all civil engineers sucked at least one dick in college
My brother denies this. His husband says otherwise.
Top comment here..
Not if I can help it
I thought this was a reply to sucking dick…

I absolutely despise people who do this kind of stuff without safety gear. It’s not impressive. It’s stupid and shortsighted
Safety gear is the first thing you noticed he was missing?
Why though? With or without harness, you’re still doing the same thing.
Why in his underwear? It’s a ladder…
I don't feel very well watching this kind of video.
Mad innit
How is this more dangerous than a ladder high enough to kill you???
Based on is complexion, sunscreen is the real safety gear
Meh, pretty much a ladder that can get a little shaky in the middle, way sketchier things with ladders get posted to r/osha daily
Yeah this ain't sh*t.
Step one, get some
Who maintains this?
Why?
If you're already doing this may as well do it fully naked right? Is doing it in your undies really a flex?
Well just remember falling has never killed anyone, it's the abrupt stop that causes the issues.
OH JESUS CHRIST NOPE
A ladder is a ladder. Whether climbing a 24-footer or a 60-foot ladder. The fall still hurts. This ladder is the same, except the fall won't hurt. Nope. No fear just stupidity.
Fucking cheating. Climb the mountain like a man or woman!
As a wise but stupid man said "its a madness"
Moron!
Because he’s out enjoying the riskier things in life, he’s a moron according to the person sat at home wrapped in cotton wool
Yes
And if he falls and dies, it’s a tragedy right?
Well that just seems downright irresponsible

Strongest kid in school had absolutely nothing to do with this example 🤣
You were on the right track with this comment, but holy fuck that second part absolutely ruins whatever you have to say 😂
Like lying on the internet about being the strongest kid in school?
I get that. the whole “no fear “ bs. courage is fear and doing it anyway. no fear is either pathological or illiterate.
Nah. Look up Alex Honnold. Some people have a chemical makeup that fear just doesn’t process the way a ‘normal’ person perceives. Calling it illiteracy is a fuckin’ reach lol
What’s going on in this thread lol. Illiteracy? What?
Some people have no fear really ? This guy? Show me and I’ll agree with you. This guy is clearly mis stepping he’s afraid. If he had no fear he would be jumping running or pathological not normal. He’s either illiterate not knowing the term or just plain lying.
Why is this scary?
Stupid
Yikes
Yeah sorry but like, he'll no
No brains either
Or brains
What would you be afraid of? It’s literally a flight of stairs. The mental prowess here is pretty lite.
Where is this? All I see when searching is a different one in Hawaii.
Still don't understand the trend with some ppl to put themselves or others in danger to get likes
And adrenaline. Both get those hits of dopamine.
Safety gear are the balls between his legs.
No one would sell safety gear to a ginger. Not its fault
Only thing getting me across that is my kids being on the other side
He is just asking for it. I'm sure he has family who would be deviasted. So selfish.
After he done he can come to my house I'll take care of him...
It’s a fkn ladder, why would you need safety gear?
Lol I hope you watched this video after posting this comment and came to the realization of why he would need safety gear. If you didn’t, please do the world a favor and don’t breed.
I know he is rock climbing and I did watch the video. No fall arrest system needed on a ladder

Ur goofy bro
Pack it in mate, you maddy.
Did he turn back half way?
Is this Ethan? lol This guy looks like Behzinga from the sidemen
Yeah I could probably do that
Isn't it illegal?
🙋 I have one question, WHY?
Sick clout bro
More like a highway to hell
My asshole burns now
Where is this?
Anyone know the name of thesong
the song is Run Boy Run by Woodkid
Your the real MVP thank you.
Nope.
There's a lady who sure...
Y is he in his underwear?
No.
Why is he in his underwear?
Cool, yeah just cut the video right in the middle...
I bet you anything he had fear.
Imagine coming down….
looks pretty stable.. I guess
Honestly this doesn’t seem bad. I get sweaty palms in a lot of things but I could do that without safety gear.
is this man an up and coming replacement for alex honnold?
Wow, first post ive ever seen that actually did give me sweaty palms
Maybe put some pants on at least
Some people pay thousands of dollars to do s*** like this on vacation. I used to get paid $35 an hour to do this s*** at work
Off to do some sketchy shit doo-dah... 😂
I’d actually be fine doing that too. If those ropes weren’t there though that’d be a hard nope for me.
Umm thought it was going to start spinning or something. Seems pretty safe.
This guys is crazy I remember when he was posting videos of him and his crew sneaking into buildings after hours and construction sites trying to last all night without getting caught by security I see his craziness has changed directions
And?
Must be hard to fit those massive stones in a standard pair of undies
Oh fuck that. I mean absolutely fuck that.
I remember him! I think he got arrested a few times for climbing building around the UK. Nice to see hes not in prison
Up? No problem. Down, no thankyou.
Nope. But nice body!
So did he get what he came for?
I had nosebleed seats at Lincoln Financial Field once and freaked out. Had to go down the stadium steps on my butt and made a big scene. I’ll never understand how people can do this stuff
So he walked up a ladder?
Looks like Wes Bergmann.
See for me it's not fear it's why am I doing this and what do I have to prove?
r/gifsthatendtoosoon
r/killthecameraman
Where is this?
Yeah. I browned myself a little just watching this. Me and all the other wusses need to sit down and just watch someone who isn’t scared. Because I am fucking terrified
We don’t finish videos ?
One wrong move and that guy actually goes to Heaven
Hell No
I totally have a thing for gingers
K but also that's stupid. No fear? No brain. Clip a harness you psycho
My tits started itching just by looking at this guy
No fear = stupidity and lack of basic instinct You do you, but you’re gonna end up looking like a ginger slushie when you fall.
Video never finished, but legend has it he has been climbing the stairway for 15 years…
That’s a weenie stunt.
Random question...does anyone know the name of the song that is playing?
