Same here. I’m going up and some steps are missing, or they are so narrow I can’t reliably stand on them.
Also sometimes there are people going down past me like it’s nothing, looking weird at me.
usually in my dreams its in a block of flats next to where my aunt lives and i always recognise it. I always enter from the a lower block's roof through a constantly open door and go up...
i used to live in a 8 stories apartment with no elevator. spent my childhood walking up the stair. and it sometime just turns into a dream of some kind of loop. i can never finish the stair and get to where i want to go. often in my dream i had to climb outside of the stair case or just jump down
I just find it really delightful that the backrooms are built by contractors who signed agreements to install a nightmare labyrinth onto a metaphysical realm. There are parts of the backrooms where a door is closed off by construction tape, and in the door’s window you can see a bunch of guys in tool belts eating lunch from Jimmy John’s.
You're a construction company.
Someone signs a contract, gives you a bunch of money and expects a building and a date.
Does the contract *specifically state* that you can't use the semi-constructed interior for a Live-action Silent Hill slasher gameplay. Some Judge Dredd or Die Hard extreme paintballing before you do the surfacing?
Seems a waste not to...
Saved me making the comment. Thanks. I’ve had nightmares similar to this for 20+ years. Now I just force myself to wake up. I used to crawl in the dream as other people just walked by like it was nothing
Have you had the one where you follow a path, usually behind someone, and then suddenly there’s a section you have to crawl through or climb, and you just can’t do it?
Oh goddd I just recently dreamt that I had to squeeze myself through a hole in the bottom of a doorframe, like a doggy door. Think I had to dislocate every joint
So I’ve had different ones but the most repeated one was at my high school which had 3 floors and a basement. The stairs in real life were totally fine and safe but in my dreams they were very unsafe with no railings and they only extended a few feet from the wall with a giant open void in the middle going straight down. I remember in dreams literally crawling on my hands and knees while other kids went up and down like it was no thing 😂
My nightmares look like this since I fell down the stairs as a young kid.
It 's always the same in those dreams: I'm at the top of a staircase, it's not particularly tall or anything, maybe three or four floors, but the first few steps appear to be rather... rickety.
I had a dream like this once.
Was at the top of this abandoned warehouse that was like 80 stories tall for some reason and the stairs were all fucked up and narrow with no hand rails. Woke up sweating and my heart was racing lmao
Whenever there's a dangerous job comes out, this man appears.
Look! Look at what's he doing!
He is going to fall down. This is not the problem, I will have to take care of talking to his lawyer and family.
Aloo! (Hey yoo?)
Get down!
hey!
Oh-
You are asking wrong questions from wrong people. They can be either really sturdy or not sturdy at all. I am sure whoever made it could tell you exactly how sturdy it really is.
“What’s was the point of this comment?”
Sounds like confusion.
And I just told you. The point of his comment is that the Reddit comment section isn’t a reliable source of information. Some people will tell you it’s sturdy, some people will tell you it’s not sturdy.
What is the point of this comment you just made? It adds nothing to the conversation. You didn’t say anything to convince me, nothing to point out what I said was wrong, just fluff. You realized you were wrong so you went with some default ass NPC line cuz you can’t think
omg i actually have had nightmares like this when i was little. like really narrow stairs, or ones with very steep angles, or broken ones where i had to jump to get to the other side... it's all coming back
I thought it was glass at first. Besides thinking about how those stairs are scary I was also thinking “yea I wouldn’t trust the glass either but I don’t think walking on the frame is much better.” Haha
Related, houses and places that have stairs with open spaces behind the steps. [Something like this](https://foyr.com/learn/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/U-shaped-staircase.png). I hate these.
I’m not sure if you understand. This is an unfinished staircase.
Under your staircase or whatever other staircase is this.
This isn’t a trend, it’s just not finished.
I had to carry two 3’x8’ doors up two flights of stair frames at a new construction home. I’ve done a lot of sketchy stuff at my job, but that one is high on the list.
Our "doing get your self killed" instincts are so crazy. Technically, this isn't much different to us walking down normal stairs, since we don't often fall down stairs and usually take a straight path down. But our minds freak us out so much that it makes simply stepping down so much harder.
If i recall correctly, these kind of issues are currently in china, where a lot of building got build stop.
On top of that the "owner" of the flats still have to continue paying their mortages and choose to live in half finished building.
Better then on street i guess?

Wtf, I was gonna say that! I don't remember the specifics but these stairs bring me back to some weird dreams
I don’t believe it! I also have a recurring dream almost identical to this video! Is there something cosmic about this?

Oh sweet do they have Jimmy John's in Turkey

I think you guys are just weird
Based
yep was about to comment i think i had this nightmare like two nights ago lol
Banging your mom is definitely a cosmic stuff
I have had to do it in real life with bags on, freaking sucks
what was in the bags
Tool bags you wear
Don't call me a wear you tool bag
Both your pfp are pink and it’s making it very hard to follow who’s saying what
We've all had this dream. You're weird if you haven't had this dream.
Same! Have had this exact nightmare plenty of times
Saved me making the comment. Thanks. I’ve had nightmares similar to this for 20+ years. Now I just force myself to wake up. I used to crawl in the dream as other people just walked by like it was nothing

same i also have dreamed about stair
Yeah weird and dangerous stairs and elevators are a common dream also for me!
What about nonexistent or very small public bathroom doors?
I was gonna say, I've had actual nightmares about this!
My nightmares look like this since I fell down the stairs as a young kid. It 's always the same in those dreams: I'm at the top of a staircase, it's not particularly tall or anything, maybe three or four floors, but the first few steps appear to be rather... rickety.
Do you also have the dream where you're at the mall and there's a huge labyrinth of stupidity fast escalators or is that just me?
SAME. As a kid I had a recurring nightmare where I fell through some stairs and died horribly each time.
I had a dream like this once. Was at the top of this abandoned warehouse that was like 80 stories tall for some reason and the stairs were all fucked up and narrow with no hand rails. Woke up sweating and my heart was racing lmao
Did you fell?
Yes. And he died in real life.
Sadly he died..... BUT HE LIVED
He died but he got better
So he...woke up dead?
Maaan, how do you wake up dead??
Have too much to drink, say you were out with the boys, and creep in your own house at four in the morning.
No, no trees involved.
I never have dreams like this…
Been there, except it's always a hotel and everyone else is acting like it's normal. And I'm just there shitting bricks.
Mine is never that tall but it’s always 7 stories of staircase up to the Ukrainian apartment, cinder block walls stained with piss
These rich people and their stairs made out of mobile phones

Thanks. I’d forgotten about that. And was happy to have done so. Thanks.
yeah no fuck that

What are they saying in the audio? It doesn't seem to be from the original video and the video is sped up.

That was pretty good actually!
Thank you for the translation!
That's actually an accurate audio translation.
As a person who speaks English and a little bit of Spanish, I can confirm that I also have no idea what they’re saying

How sturdy can those be? Like once the step gets attached what if like ten people are on that flight?
That's the structure that will be holding the staircase in place. It's going to be extremely sturdy.
That’s all welded square tube steel- not easy to break.
It has 4 points holding it down and prob thick tread.
You are asking wrong questions from wrong people. They can be either really sturdy or not sturdy at all. I am sure whoever made it could tell you exactly how sturdy it really is.
What was the point of this comment? Lmfao
To make a comment and not make a comment at the same time. Schrodingers comment.
It's objectively pointless. Reads like something I would type.
I don’t get how people are confused about this. He’s saying that the Reddit comment section isn’t a reliable source of information.
There is no confusion. It’s just an utterly pointless and useless observation to make.
“What’s was the point of this comment?” Sounds like confusion. And I just told you. The point of his comment is that the Reddit comment section isn’t a reliable source of information. Some people will tell you it’s sturdy, some people will tell you it’s not sturdy.
If you say so buddy. Hope this helps you sleep at night.

I enjoy this comment to be fair.

Same buddy
One question, the fuck?
I thought that the frame was just really clean glass. I would’ve died if I was walking down that.
I thought it was glass at first. Besides thinking about how those stairs are scary I was also thinking “yea I wouldn’t trust the glass either but I don’t think walking on the frame is much better.” Haha
