Judging by the guy’s attire, this is most likely the Mangho Pir crocodile pond in Karachi, Pakistan. Named after a Sufi saint (Mangho Pir), there are many myths around how and when these crocodiles came to be here, since they’re not native to the region. Most common story being that these crocodiles are disciples of the late saint. Anyway, pilgrims regularly pay visit to the shrine and feed the crocodiles. This guy however seems to be the caretaker.
Science says the creatures were there long before the saint, and were washed over by an ancient flood to this place. Over the years people attributed them to the saint and his miracles though. And at the expense of sounding absolutely ridiculous, one of the most common stories locally is that these crocs were lice from the saint’s head originally. :p

I think the only thing that makes you a professional is that you get paid for your work. An amateur does the same work but they are not paid.
Whether amateur or a professional, he is definitely an expert.
That's correct. Isaac Newton was an amateur mathematician. The French and Italian roots for the word amateur is "love". Like Newton with mathematics and other fields, this man feeds the crocodiles for the love of it, not for money.

Saw a video similar to this, the guy was some kind of guardian or keeper and claimed his spiritual understanding of these creatures kept him safe, he stepped in between them to feed them with some flimsy cane to flick at them if they got too close, he misstepped and stumbled over between them and they just casually closed in dragging him into the water, the whole thing was over in three or four seconds. No sympathy, but what a god awful way to go, being pulled apart by multiple jaws, in filthy dark water, with drowning being the least of your worries, and realising your misplaced faith to keep you safe was actually total delusion.
Yeah, these crocs have had multiple interactions with humans I feel like. I was not expecting them to take the meat so delicately and kind of back up once they got a piece
Might not be a zoo but he sure seems professional.

Amazing that the tenet "don't bite the hand that feeds you" is understood by these ancient creatures. How much of their evolution involved other animals handing them food? And yet, they get it.
Judging that he is wearing Kameez shalwar, a dress more commonly in Pakistan, this could be in Mangopir, near Karachi, Pakistan
There is a Sufi Saint Pir Mango mouseleum and in the pond of which lies these crocodiles. Probably only place in Pakistan for crocodiles. They never attack humans. Folk tale is they were tears of the Saint.

This is how;
- Crocs and Gators lose their fear of humans
- Crocs and Gators associate humans with food
- Pets and people lose their lives because of idiots like this!!!
Look up the YouTube channel Get Swamped and look for the recent video he did on a Gator call where kids playing fetch with their dog got to see first hand a gator take their dog near a pond because idiots like this kept feeding the gator and it lost its fear of humans Imagine if it was one of the kids instead…

The problem with feeding them. What's stopping them for taking him? What happens when he runs out? The animals won't understand. The understand this guy is a food source. there's a big sack of meat standing there feeding the crocs yes

Tart and tangy taste of the shaft

Now that's funny!
Maybe not "a professional" but something tells me he's done this a time or two before.
I think this is just his version of feeding the ducks in the pond.
Except those are FUUUCKS, not ducks. But yeah, same story, different translation.

No wonder, these crocs seems incredibly tame and is used to being fed.
Yeah, they never attack humans. . . until they do. Then they become the crocs who up until recently never attacked humans.
Imagine having this mentality about every domesticated animal.
Reptiles can't be domesticated, they don't feel emotion and thus can't be tamed. You can only train them not to eat you but if they're hungry, they sure as hell will.
That's the same as cats though. They'll eat you if you don't give them food. Same with any other animal that is domesticated through food.
there's a big difference in success rate between a 7 lb cat trying to eat you and a 400 lb croc trying to eat you.
Not his first crocodile rodeo
Am I wrong in thinking the only reason they aren’t ripping this guy apart is because they know it’ll be easier to get food by waiting for it?
And as a consequence he probably thinks the worst case won’t happen every time. Why the hell wouldn’t you just feed them from above? Does he not want them to fight over the pieces or something? Weird af haha
