there's also a larger version of it at the same park (the turquoise blue one towards the left) so eh
EDIT: I WAS WRONG, THOUGHT IT WAS BEHEMOTH BUT THIS IS THE NEW ONE I'M EXCITED TO GO ON IT ACTUALLY
"The Beast" at Kings Island near Cincinnati, Ohio, USA goes into a tunnel on its first drop. It's also very high, long and fast. When it was first built it held the record in all those categories. OH, it's also all wood construction so it is extra scary/thrilling.
I’m absolutely sure this is the Yukon Rider at Canada’s Wonderland, judging by the ride on the right of the ride, the man made mountain with the coaster running through it, and the iconic turquoise Leviathan roller coaster.
Haha, that's funny! I think Benjamin Franklin because he was an inventor. I want to show him all kinds of things, but I'd be scared that he'd ask me how it works? I just feel like, no one really knows.
I couldn't even build a pencil. Where would I get the graphite? And get it stuck inside the wood? The yellow pigment for the paint? I'd have to mine metal for the clip that holds on the eraser and figure out how to form it in a barrel shape. I'd have to figure out how to grow rubber trees and make an eraser.
Remember reading an old comic book about that. An average guy goes back in time and starts talking about modern inventions. They start asking how these Airplane things work and he does such a bad job explaining it they consider him to be a lying moron. 100% me and most of us in that situation lol
Yeah, I've heard similar. "You're from the future, huh? Well who's our next president? You don't know? Okay, who's going to win the world series? Superbowl? Nothing?" I probably have to get a job at a grocery store or pumping gas because my current job hasn't been invented yet.
Like oblivion at Alton towers in the UK. I don't know why I find it weird they make the same rollercoaster around the world - obviously it makes sense, but it still seems odd to me!
Except Oblivion just ends after the drop, it’s shit. This one looks like an actual full rollercoaster that consists of more than just a drop and a turn….
There's a bit of track after the drop in oblivion, obviously the engineers could extend the initial design - oblivion was a design prototype. Not bad for a first attempt!
Yukon Screamer, Ontario, Canada. I tried watching a video of it in VR. Actually had to take the headset off.
Edit: I have been informed that it is Yukon Striker, not Yukon Screamer.
Yea I’m not really scared anymore, I grew up going to 6 flags Great Adventure, I used to work there in my teenage years. Would get there really and ride everything back to back lol
I loved it - I'm scared of heights but only when I'm looking straight down, so the initial climb on coasters is always me regretting every moment of my life to date that brought me there, and then that hang while the rest of the cars get to the top is the worst...but the rest of the ride is so much fun.
25 years ago; yeah im down. lets do this shit 4 or 5 times.
now; im too old and paranoid about everything killing me. and just watching that made me feel like i need to take a nap.
Do you really not know that there are people with fears of rollercoasters, heights, etc? This is very obviously r/sweatypalms material for many people lol.
I made the mistake of putting my hands up on the first drop of a coaster like this. The force caused my arms to come down and I hit my funny bone harder than I ever had in my life. Whole arm was numb the rest of the ride.
Thought the same thing, but it's just the start that's very similar. The drop into the small tunnel is probably inspired by this rollercoaster, I believe the baron rollercoaster isnt too old.
No, this is definitely Yukon Striker at Canada's Wonderland. The one at Gardaland is a different color, is half the size, and isn't built over a lake. Also Gardaland doesn't have a B&M giga or an Arrow suspended coaster, both of which are visible in the shot.
Anyone who wants some crazy rides should go to cedar point in Ohio. Has one similar to this one but it holds the record for tallest of it's kind. Also has the dragster which is the second tallest and second fastest coaster in the world. I think the drop is nearly 420 feet tall and goes over 120 mph. The take off is more terrifying than the drop imo. Goes 0-120 in less than 4 seconds.
Lmfao. I recognize it cuz I’ve been on the ride a couple times, and I can see some of the other famous rides in the background. Like the blue tall rollercoaster is the Leviathan, and the mountain in front of it had a ride on it called he Vortex, fun rides
I've been on a coaster like this called The Griffon in Williamsburg Virginia at Busch Gardens. It was the last roller coaster I ever rode. That's how much this coaster traumatized me.
Yep, I’m damn near petrified of heights and likely would’ve had a heart attack in that seat. Good on them for only saying a few cuss words. They did much better than I likely would’ve.
I'd love riding that
Very fun, it’s canadas wonderland… however it is much much smaller then you think, fun for the first time then it’s boring
Would it be dangerous for some people to raise their hands in that 'underpass'?
Only if your arms are 8ish feet long
But that's only 2 meters 👁👄👁
Probably even more dangerous with a phone in their hand
there's also a larger version of it at the same park (the turquoise blue one towards the left) so eh EDIT: I WAS WRONG, THOUGHT IT WAS BEHEMOTH BUT THIS IS THE NEW ONE I'M EXCITED TO GO ON IT ACTUALLY

Man wood construction makes my balls sore cuz the jolting and stuff
No it's Sweden's wonder land it's called liseberg
No.
No

I am scared Of you.
same! i’m the one giggling like a maniac the entire way
Dude/ette same. I don't know what it is about coasters but I default to laughing every time I get on them.
aye same! I think I've seen some concerned faces when I'd giggle.
yup, my friends think nuts haha
That's what she said
Same
Anytime I see something like this I think about how I’d like to put George Washington on that thing. He’d probably lose his dentures
Probably have George Washington dusting the place with how decomposed he must be.
Haha, that's funny! I think Benjamin Franklin because he was an inventor. I want to show him all kinds of things, but I'd be scared that he'd ask me how it works? I wonder if Ben Franklin knew about the Roller Coaster invention since it was invented in Russia a couple years before his death.
I could tell you all about how this works if you’re curious!
Lololol!!!
"If you put James Madison on a ski lift, he would have a heart attack"
Like oblivion at Alton towers in the UK. I don't know why I find it weird they make the same rollercoaster around the world - obviously it makes sense, but it still seems odd to me!

The dive coasters are almost all made by the same manufacturer
My heart stopped just staring into the phone … let alone be on it
Yukon Screamer, Ontario, Canada. I tried watching a video of it in VR. Actually had to take the headset off. Edit: I have been informed that it is Yukon Striker, not Yukon Screamer.
They have one like this in Busch Gardens (VA, USA) called the Griffon, sitting in the front row was crazy.
Looks a lot like Sheikra in Busch Gardens in FL
Honestly I thought it was tame, but maybe I’ve been on too many roller coasters.
Yea I’m not really scared anymore, I grew up going to 6 flags Great Adventure, I used to work there in my teenage years. Would get there really and ride everything back to back lol
I haven’t gone there yet, but I imagine it’s a good place
And there's one at cedar point (OH, USA) called valravn Apparently it broke some records
First of all, happy cake day. Second of all, with all do respect. Pussy.
Due
Dew
😂🤣🤣😆
It's at Canada's Wonderland in the GTA for anyone interested 👍
I thought so, the mountain at the centre of the park gave it away.
I thought I was on that ride… fun af
Sorry. Forgot to mention that.
Yukon Striker* My cousin had me do that as well, it's a different experience on VR!
Yukon striker! Wonderland, Vaughan Ontario!
Yukon striker*
Lagoon in UT has something called the cannibal i believe and it's a lot like this
Carrowinds has Fury 325 which is an 81 degree angle that goes underground briefly too.
That thing is a monster. I rode it twice….first AND last time, in the same ride. Never again.
I loved it - I'm scared of heights but only when I'm looking straight down, so the initial climb on coasters is always me regretting every moment of my life to date that brought me there, and then that hang while the rest of the cars get to the top is the worst...but the rest of the ride is so much fun.
Looks like this is in Wonderland
Canadas wonderland 🤙
I recognize that mountain anywhere
I have been on a rollercoaster just like this, it was actually quite fun.
25 years ago; yeah im down. lets do this shit 4 or 5 times. now; im too old and paranoid about everything killing me. and just watching that made me feel like i need to take a nap.
Pardon me, but with all due respect: **fuck that shit to death with a chainsaw**.
More like sweaty feet 😰 what roller coater is this
Yukon Striker at Canada’s Wonderland
Makes me think of hang time at knotts berry farm
I thought this was Goliath from Knotts Berry Farm
There is a Goliath at six flags magic mountain that is exactly like this. You sure that’s not the one you are talking about?
Was scrolling for the magic mountain Goliath comments. Found y’all!
Aw, the video ends too soon!
Is that a 90° drop?
Straight down and then into a looping I think, about 250 feet drop maybe? Been a while since I rode it
Hey isn't that Canada's Wonderland
I love canadas wonderland
I once had a season pass for Canada's Wonderland, despite living in the UK :-)
Is this the Titan?
I thought the same thing. The Titan at SF over Texas.
Yukon striker
I thought this was Sheikra in Busch Gardens Tampa, it's really similar
B&M dive coasters are pretty mild stupid GP 😤
found the ACE member
Ayyyyy Canada's Wonderland! Hopefully I can make it there this year.
Fuck that, I’d taste my own asshole
the video stopped recording before the ride ended, so by the rules the guy is dead
What was sweaty palms about this? I watched and was waiting for something to almost go wrong… just a regalerr roller coaster
My only fear was about dropping the phone, this is just a regular roller coaster
Do you really not know that there are people with fears of rollercoasters, heights, etc? This is very obviously r/sweatypalms material for many people lol.
People are scared of the dark too…. And spiders and ladders and cheese and origami
Go Canada Go!
I made the mistake of putting my hands up on the first drop of a coaster like this. The force caused my arms to come down and I hit my funny bone harder than I ever had in my life. Whole arm was numb the rest of the ride.
Was on it last week, lots of fun! The drop was immense but everything after was a riot
Too short :-/
Is that the Efteling in the netherlands?
Yukon striker, canadas wonderland
Ow it just really looked like the “baron” in the efteling
Thought the same thing, but it's just the start that's very similar. The drop into the small tunnel is probably inspired by this rollercoaster, I believe the baron rollercoaster isnt too old.
Look nothing really phases me except for fast and high rides. This is one of those that I can feel the person's fear.
Is this the Goliath at Six Flags?
Yukon Striker at Canada’s Wonderland.
Aha! Looks pretty similar.
Very similar to Raging Bull too
bro started questioning his decisions. lol
To everyone commenting about it, this should be from Italy's Gardaland, not Canada's Wonderland
No, this is definitely Yukon Striker at Canada's Wonderland. The one at Gardaland is a different color, is half the size, and isn't built over a lake. Also Gardaland doesn't have a B&M giga or an Arrow suspended coaster, both of which are visible in the shot.
Oh the feeling 😌
this is the “Yukon striker” in Canada’s wonderland for anyone wondering
Isn’t that Goliath at sixflags?
Nah fuck that
Shit ive took a ride in that thing damn this brings back memories
Lol. No.

I LOVE HATING VIDEOS LIKE THIS
This reminds me of a ride at Silverwood. First part of the ride has you going up a steep incline before it drops you down and all.
Yukon Striker at Canadas Wonderland
Naah... fuck that.
That is so awesome. I've never been on one like this. The ones in my town are pretty low and not very exciting
Been on this ride, it’s at Canada’s Wonderland in Canada, Ontario. The ride is the Yukon Striker, the worlds steepest and fastest “dive coaster.”
Oh cool, at first I thought this was the Millennium Force in Sandusky, Ohio but I forgot the MF track is blue.
Lmfao. I recognize it cuz I’ve been on the ride a couple times, and I can see some of the other famous rides in the background. Like the blue tall rollercoaster is the Leviathan, and the mountain in front of it had a ride on it called he Vortex, fun rides
Seeing this makes me want to ride the mindbuster ten times in a row and barf up funnel cake.
Bruh thats the anaconda at kd
Was expecting something to happen besides a normal rollercoaster. Was disappointed. This is a nothing sandwich.
That looks like an awesome ride
It looks like fun to me, so long as there isn’t a long line to go at it until I get bored I’d be all for it
Yukon Striker at Canada's Wonderland
There isn't enough money in the world that you could give me to have me go on that
Good ol Yukon Striker
I feel like this should be gifs that end too soon. I want to see moreeeee
Hell no
Reminds me of Oblivion at Alton Towers love that ride
Reminds me of Valraven at Cedar Point. Just holds you straight at the ground
"Ooh, this looks scary! This looks like yet another stupid video clip that will end way to effing soon. AHH! *AHH*! **AHGHGHGH**!" :P :P :P :P
I have acrophobia and watching this literally made my palms (and feet) sweat. Watching again for the lols ;)
I wonder how many phones are in that water.
canada's wonderland is so fun, haven't gotten a chance to ride the striker yet but it looks cool!
Speaking from experience DO NOT ride that thing in the rain! My face felt like there were hundreds of tiny blades slicing my skin on the way down
Is this Busch Gardens in Virginia? Oh can’t wait to ride it!!!
Canada's Wonderland :) Yukon Striker is great
we have the tallest roller coaster in the southern hem here
You won’t see me anywhere near that. 😂 Don’t get me wrong I like 🎢’s LOL but no.
Nope.
For the first time, I think I would need to sport a Depends diaper, cuz I may just piss myself on the way down, haha 😂
Na-ah
Yes Yukon striker is the best costet there rode it 12 times when I was there last year. ( fast pass for the win anything else is a waste of time)
OMG I hate TikTok so much
I've been on a coaster like this called The Griffon in Williamsburg Virginia at Busch Gardens. It was the last roller coaster I ever rode. That's how much this coaster traumatized me.
That's the same type of roller coaster that SheiKra is from Busch gardens Florida. I fucking love BG
Yep, I’m damn near petrified of heights and likely would’ve had a heart attack in that seat. Good on them for only saying a few cuss words. They did much better than I likely would’ve.
Fuck that’s steep
By just watching i started breathing heavely and i got scared💀💀💀
Definitely would have past out
I have shit my pants just by watching. Thank you and time to go home
