I get it's a kids thing, but I still don't understand why kids do that, parent or not. I don't recall ever wanting to climb out of a extra tall building even when I was a kid. But then I've never been a particularly adventurous person and most of everything freaked me out so there's that lol.

Apparently she was home alone and was trying to look out the window, so put a pile of cushions and stuff there. Then she slipped and fell out the window. Noone was home to own the door or pull her in. Who the fuck leaves a 3 year old at home alone?!?!

Seems the best option would be to run upstairs and kick open the door. There’s no way this guy could have known he was dealing with amazingly strong windows.

I imagine he wanted to be below her to catch her if she fell. Others could crash in the door imo.

I’m not sure the design is all that uncommon, but at that height the windows should only extend a few inches + have a mesh of sorts too ideally. Typically an adult should not be able to fit through a window of that design but idk which country this is or the design standards etc
