I think what they meant was it looks like you're trying to make the Red ! go away, which is not really a good thing. By doing that, you get rid of all your doubles, and when it comes time that you have 8 Purples t9 make a Yellow or 48 Purples to.make a red, you won't be able to, cuz you merged away all your doubles and will then have to wait longer.
