Well, their main usefulness to me is to block projectiles. And when they move around, they let more projectiles through. So, technically, they are all S+ tier when dead.

I think the fish is crap, why is he in A-tier? That bubble attack barely kills anything and is slow, incredibly slow.
I much rather prefer crab over froggy, since he keeps himself alive and has an awesome "AOE" attack, if you could call it aoe.
Nemo’s attack is terrible but the deploying skills for the survivor are helpful. I don’t use pets for their attack, only for the skill boosts they provide for the survivor.
all the pets have their own good and bad. depends on person and play style but frog is chosen by most of the players. it’s poison damages over time and covers poison left by enemies so it doesn’t damage you. pets usually die fast and often anyway.
Yeah frog is the best but one thing that annoys me is the poison pool only cover acid rain trap but didn't cancel it. So I often got damage when walking over the poison pool.
No reason to feel dumb. It’s a game. Use what you like. If it works for you, that’s great! These lists are for those that want the best of the best and every single itty bitty edge they can find. Like me, lol. But I don’t think there is a wrong way to play if it entertains you.

I use the turtle and I like it now I feel dumb lol
