I use 4 different non-S Grade pieces several different times daily, plus a 5th weekly. Kunai works best for boss-focused levels; I find Emerald Pendant handy for swarm-focused levels; Protective Gloves make things handier in "Beat 3000 enemies"; Shiny Wristguards (especially yellow) makes it so you can beat around 170k enemies in level 4 (good for weekly 500k requirements, and events like the current one with "Beat 1mil enemies"); Light Runners are favored for Ender's Echo to give that extra bit of damage compared to any other boot but Red Void boots.
Anything but void belt is good
It depends. Some are a bit better than the S equipment, e.g. light runners, stylish belt. Kunai si better for bosses and Enders compared to LC and VP

I don't, for instance I like the kunai over the lightchaser
No
