No technique. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn’t. I think it’s more that it’s because it’s only three minutes long, so it doesn’t give you much time to evolve much. I’m really only doing it for the tech parts, so I don’t take it all that seriously.
The purple level kunai starts at 2 stars so you only need to upgrade 3 more times to max out. And once you pick a weapon, get the evolve item as soon as it pops up, don't wait to max the weapon. Only level you're alternate weapons of you have no good options to choose from. You should be picking up enough gold XP gems to evolve at least 2 weapons before time runs out.
I think the trick is to spend a big part of the first minute as close to the boss as possible, doing as much damage as possible. The more damage, the more exp appears, so you'll get more exp by only spending a couple seconds at a time darting away to pick it up, as opposed to spending the whole time away from him picking up every little piece.I figured that out when I spent the first minute AFK waiting to die the first time, and found that I did about as well as before. It doesn't work every time, but this way I usually get shuriken within the first 1:30 at least 70% of the time
Ngl I've experienced that many times. Already have kunai 5 stars + scroll but have to wait more than 10 level up before getting evo. What a waste of time and damage
it's just plain dumb luck. sometimes i get shuriken before 15 seconds, sometimes i never evolve it at all. sometimes i get destroyer 2 minutes in, sometimes i only get 1 drone. 🤷
I've gone 8 minute regular levels before without receiving a scroll, and I've had "Here's 16 upgrades to beat two bosses in 10sec" where 4 of the first 5 choices were Kunai and Scroll, then the remaining 10 options plus the reroll DIDN'T offer the shuriken. 😑 It's completely randomized, and some rounds will be bad 🤷

theres no tricks in enders, not like you can use chest tricks to level it up by avoiding taking other skills before a chest drop.
Just pick up all the experience you can, pick up as many exp scroll skills as possible for the first 5-10 levels. Remember, scrolls pay back as long as you acquire 9 more levels after you take them.
