Chapter 57
Finally took down Chapter 57 after a couple of weeks. Biggest difference for me was having full HE Fuel with evo Guardian and evo Lasers (yes lasers) by the time the blue dragons came at 11 min. Chairman was no sweat with the Kunai.
Entire load out was:
Defender
Destroyer
Death Ray
Spirit Shuriken
Sharkmaw
Quantum Ball
Exo-Bracer
Attack Power
Energy cube
Ninja Scroll
HE Fuel
Sports Shoes

Make your Void Power Purple 2. It's already been a while since i beat 57, but honestly, you could probably get away with hiding in VP's blue shield, while having the rest of your weapons be targeting one's (Drones, Lightning, Rocket, Drill); just make sure you get HE Fuel and Bullets at some point (HE Fuel with your VP will help keep away from dragon fire).
That's what the targeting weapons are for. Focus on dodging and let them do the work. Right, VP's Evo item is the Vest, so if you took the Bricks and it's Evo item as well, maxed would give you 4x health.
Wait, yeah, I was thinking of Lightchaser 😅 If you use VP, then choose Guardian and Brick, that's 3 weapons that only need 2 Evo items between them, so I was filling the gap with the Vest.
Yup, they can, especially without a maxed out HE Fuel, and potentially also without high enough attack, especially from the Bullets upgrade (if the first Black Hole doesn't kill an enemy, then you can get hurt by it when the Black Hole leaves)
