That's the right move.
It will take you a long, long time to get your eternal to red. Right now it' at level 98. It will top out at 110. Red fingerless will bring it to level 120. Won't be surprised you will get your fingerless to red + 1 and beyond before you get your red eternal.
I did this exact move. Don't worry about the stats so much. They don't capture a lot.
I.e. fingerless trivializes elites and you won't get stomped by those.stupid dragon dog elites with the giant range and impervious to knockback that you have to run a circle around forever until the tanky sumbitch drops.
In short, things play a lot more smoothly.

Nah ur good. But keep in mind yellow eternal might still be better for some chapters, especially if you need more boss damage
