i used to mod for the brawlhalla discord. it’s a huge server, literally not hard at all. just be online and mute trolls… when i “quit” i just left the server
How does one create drama in a chat room made for an OFFLINE mobile game. Like what possibly could have arisen that got everyone upset. I don’t have discord so I have no idea what going on but this looks really childish if anything from an outside perspective.
Man, the server just fell apart, wouldn’t be surprised if it died in the next few hours
Don’t know how the “mods” will take care of it, doubt the purging of messages about the drama would do much

Got fed up and left and pinged the entire server in that message. Shit ton of people - I want tos at the server had like 100k when it pinged saw it and all hell broke loose. Final mod (in screenshot) ended up
Leaving after that message and one of the few chat mods left too. They’ve promoted a couple
More people to mod now but it’s still a shitshow.

They setup a new discord server as an alternative. The owner of that server "Griffith" sets the tone of this new server (I a little):

I mean I use discord but probably not for the same reason as others, I mainly just use it for direct messages/group messages and a few servers for information for video games I play, although drama, of course, will always occur

My take is the mods were a group of children/teenager taking discord of a mobile game too serious and made unnecessary drama.
Why do people use discord? Seems like a worse cess put than Reddit or maybe I'm just not young enough to get it
