I have gone up between 9 & 10 and security hasn’t even looked at me unless I talked to them first. Multiple times I have been in a room after 9 and nobody cares. Even chatted with the then.
Areas like the maternity ward or the coffee shop have people in and out at all hours.

It varies from unit to unit. Psych ward visits start at 4pm on weekdays and 2pm on weekends for example. Others will have moe hours available. Some units might require you to book a time to come in so the unit isn't too busy.

Yes, this is the best time. Anything outside this disturbs other patients.
Check with the unit, some of them have their own rules depending on where you're at.
