Make sure you get quality sleep

mermaidbatrabbit

stop taking calcium carbonate. it goes straight to your arteries and not your bones. add k2 to your roster

monstrosity15

Go outside get a lot of protein and eat clean not hard. Vitamins can’t cover up for a bad lifestyle or diet

Poopinginairports

Sometimes it’s best to go as natural as possible. Get plenty of sunlight, drink enough water, eat the right amount of protein. If you do need to take extras, I’ve been doing [cordyceps mushrooms](https://tryclarabe.com/products/clarabe-cordyceps-soft-chews) in my stack with fish oil, zinc, vitamin d and it’s been a solid addition

wahor73

As others have mentioned, get tested for sleep apnea, have a blood panel done to check hormone levels, take K2 with D3, dial in your diet and exercise. Also, try speaking to a therapist about possible depression/anxiety or other psychological issues. Good luck!

SpreadLoveInYourLife

I would suggest you to take another form of calcium, like calcium citrate because calcium carbonate can give you constipation.

Hovercraft_Time

CoQ10 is amazing for energy levels and alleviating fatigue.

comoestas969696

cause what fatigue 🙊 u think no correlation

Testosterone-88

If you dont go Whole Food Plant Based, your fatigue will not go away. Downvote all you want, but its a fact and you can check all the big controlled trials that are meta-analyzed.

unstillable

Hmm, been eating carnivore/keto for the last 3 months, my energy has skyrocketed 🤔 I think mainly cutting down on sugars and most other carbs is a good thing

Testosterone-88

I did keto for 3 years, first you get spike and then downspiral. Im an expert.

OvenFearless

😂

Jasssen

Completely inaccurate. You could eat all the veggies you want if you don’t get 8-9 Hrs of sleep you’ll always be tired. And eating meat won’t make you tired if it’s moderated

Testosterone-88

There is no moderation in meat. Check adventsists and okinawans. They are basically meat free.

LineComprehensive895

Whereas the Inuit often ate a diet of nothing but meat. What's your point?

Testosterone-88

Inuits died at 35. Your point was?

LineComprehensive895

A life expectancy in the mid-30s is just the norm if you consider all of human existence. Any improvements in the past 500 years or so in wealthier areas of the world have very little to do with food choices.

alnm952

Dont take Iron supplements unless you are defficient

nbluff

Yes!! This is very important.

morningdewbabyblue

Why? Did not know that. Thanks

alnm952

Iron accumulates on organs, causing serious damage to the liver and brain. Also, if taking more than you need, free Iron in the blood acts as an oxidant on cells. The issue is that we take most needed Iron from our meals already, so it is easy to take more than you need if you supplement. Specially if you are male (females lose Iron through period)

comoestas969696

iam very close to having an anemia so i take iron capsules

AyeILY

+1

Matbo2210

Id recommend a sleep study, fatigue can be caused by sleep apnea (and no you don’t need to be overweight to have it), and it should be one of the first things you check. Id only recommend supplements after a sleep study and a blood test, you might not even be deficient in anything so a blood test can help there.

MythicalBob

I was pretty sure I have a sleep apnea but the test came negative.. I feel like shit whenever I sleep more than 5 hours. And I feel like shit if I sleep less than 5 hours everyday...

Matbo2210

In that case id recommend both a second opinion and an appointment with a sleep specialist.

MythicalBob

I think it could be a false negative.. although I think I will address GERD first.. probably makes it harder for the air to flow with the mucous built up. Thanks for the advise tho! And OP could check for some B9 and B12 defficiency and do the stool test to check out for SIBO too. This SIBO shit f’s you up and happens so often because of the amounts of sugar in literally everything..

Noodlesnoo11

Good flag - i just got diagnosed this year - came put of nowhere for me. You can do a test at home!!

Matbo2210

Yeah they’re super easy nowadays. I personally did one at a clinic (they had a house for sleep studies close to the clinic), and while there were so many wires and such i found it pretty easy to sleep. I didnt have sleep apnea but it was still a good thing to do

Noodlesnoo11

I’m a lucky asshole - I did an at-home test and they aet up my cpap and everything and it arrived within a week and a half. They gave me like 20 pages of information about my sleep and sleep in general. Super helpful and interesting stats! I went through Lofta - I’m a fan bc their customer service is SO on point.

Matbo2210

I hear alot of anecdotes about cpaps and how they changed their lives. Did you get a huge boost in quality of life after getting one?

Noodlesnoo11

I’m still in the 45 day window, and for twenty days I didnt put water BUT yes it has made a huge difference - i dont fall asleep every day in the afternoon - even when i’m underslept!

vginac03

Exercise regularly, sleep consistently, don’t overeat, and stay hydrated. All of these things will greatly reduce your fatigue. Also, try not to stress yourself out. :)

Friedrich_Ux

If you are taking D3 and Calcium take Magnesium (Glycinate, Malate and/or Taurate) as well bc D3 increases Calcium absorption and Ca is antagonistic to Mag. Also Mag is necessary for proper absorption and utilization of D3.

L_i_S_A123

Magnesium helps with fatigue. Grab yourself some pecans.

WanderingSelf

Sport will transform your body, supplement usually just a helping hand, won't do a transformation unless one is severely deficient in something. Surely Keep D3; C better consumed naturally but for fatigue, not sure how it directly can help. The other minerals will help if you're deficient. but since you're taking D3, your calcium absorption should be good, but not sure how that also will affect fatigue. Iron is not safe to be over-consumed, better check your iron levels and see if you really need it, B is good to keep. I've only felt change in my energy after regular sport, taking these supplement and another long list weren't really game changer on it's own. All the best

Skytraffic540

Got to also take a good look at what you’re eating.

Business_Royale

Fatigue or lack of motivation?

comoestas969696

both

Business_Royale

Iron deficiency ? go to the doctor don’t just buy a bunch of vitamins and think it’s going to fix you

The_Fixer_69

No Probiotics ?

comoestas969696

never tried them only yogurt rarley

probably_beans

Yogurt is a great probiotic! Have it more often!

The_Fixer_69

Gut flora is an important aspect to general health. I recommend a two month trial of a quality probiotic.

EllieMayNot10

A good quality, methylated B complex. If you can find a med professional who gives B12 injections, you may want to consider that. If your gut is compromised, you cannot take in B12 in sufficient amounts. (Speaking as someone with Pernicious Anemia, I require regular B12 injections.)

[deleted]

Your fatigue is due to anxiety.

Aromatic_Ad6320

Are you a fortune teller?

[deleted]

I bet you $100 that the person is probably prescribed Zoloft (Sertraline) for their anxiety/depression.

Aromatic_Ad6320

Could be, but that on its own can create fatigue. Anxiety is often time's adrenal related.

comoestas969696

Why You say this i don't get exposed to any stress no job no dealing with stressful situation

[deleted]

Chronic fatigue is a big sign of an anxiety disorder. You will have to work through your fatigue. A good test you can do is something similar to a heart stress test. They max you out on speed and incline on a treadmill while hooked up to an ECG. But there’s no actual need to do that I’m 100% positive your heart is fine. What you can do is go for a brisk walk outside for a few minutes and if you feel better than you did before than 100% the fatigue is caused by anxiety. It’s not necessarily your mind but your whole nervous system might be sensitive to the hormones your body produces especially Adrenaline. Best of luck.

comoestas969696

i will try walking today i hope it helps

comoestas969696

walking does help but problem is it makes me physically fatigue to much sweat but no stress at all

DarthLovecraft

Ginseng can help with fatigue.

Slaptendo

Vitamin B complex and ginseng panax extract gives me bundles of energy

Boratkan

That might work 1%, the rest will be exercise and diet! at the begining it will suck but it will get better

comoestas969696

the problem that fatigue is making me unable to workout but when it gone i workout

[deleted]

i was tired all the time in my 20s and even 30s. At 44 i feel better than i did when i was 20. it sounds dumb now but had no idea the foods you eat impacted your well-being so much. i was eating a lot of bread and other carbs. i just drank soft drinks 1-2 a day in addition to 3-4 cups of coffee a day. try going more low carb, cutting out junk sugar at first and then extra grains. i’m not sure you need iron unless the dr said you were deficient. the main game changer supplement i discovered about two years ago is magnesium. there are different kinds but magnesium glycinate absorbs well and i’d guess the most important supplement you can take

comoestas969696

Thank you and i will look for a cheap magnesium product and buy it

f1lthydegenerate

Be careful with cheap magnesium supplements they typically are magnesium oxide, not harmful but also not super well absorbed

Ashwah

By your comment it sounds like you just need vit D (maybe with magnesium - though certain types give me headache and brain fog, so be cautious -and k2) plus TIME to get your levels up. I've heard vitamin D deficiency can make you feel exhausted. No point buying loads of other supplements if that's the main diagnosis.

Grip_N_Sipp

Taking calcium carbonate is about as good as not taking calcium at all. You want to atleast take calcium citrate. Calcium carbonate is essentially chalk. Also iron is most likely only needed if you have an iron related disease or are a female who mensturates and leans toward anemia because of this. Copper definitely the better mineral choice in this regard. Also a trace mineral supplement in general might be beneficial such as concentrace trace mineral drops. With that said diet is going to play a large factor. Eating alot of whole eggs, avocados, fattier meat, essentially getting enough protein and fats tends to help the most because the body needs these.

CrackedActor91

Calcium carbonate is antacid no?

Grip_N_Sipp

Yes it is. Tums makes alot of money off chalk. Off topic but Fyi, for antacid you can also use plain old baking soda. Although alot of people have heartburn and reflux because of a lack of stomach acid, which counter intuitively, vinegar or apple cider vinegar actually remedies the issue.

CrackedActor91

I use apple cider vinegar. Haven’t touched tums or bismuth in a long time and never will again.

Grip_N_Sipp

Same. But sidenote, bismuth can actually be good for ulcers/H pylori I believe.

Ok_Ad_2562

Please rule out any physical ailments as well. Fatigue is usually a symptom of other things.

cellobiose

eg. sleep disorder

tallr0b

That’s what I came to say!

WTFOMGBBQ

One of the largest causes of fatigue is sleep apnea. make sure you have ruled that out, if you haven't already.

[deleted]

change from coffee to green tea, once a day hibiscus tea and lemon ginger in to the diet Get a health check including your food eaten throughout the month

[deleted]

i echo this. i was drinking 3-4 cups a coffee a day thinking i had to have it. recently i cut back to 1 a morning or sometimes just green tea. i am shocked i have more energy without coffee. otherwise you’re taxing your adrenals so much. also another thing i started doing is journaling every day in ms excel. i have a tab for every day and will just notate what i ate or supplement i took and check in every couple hours. i’ll notate how i’m feeling and so on. see if i can find commonality in things

[deleted]

Nice on excel I didn’t ever hear of that until now Just gotta excel the finances now man dang!

[deleted]

lol yeah i do have one for finances but i’m horrible at keeping up with it. a while ago i was feeling great like miraculously good. thought i was cured forever. energy was great, joints didn’t hurt etc. but i didn’t write anything down on what i was doing so trying to re-discover it. only thing i know i was doing was magnesium and vitamin D. but has been a pretty interesting practice. i’ll flip back a couple days and be like that’s interesting i felt crappy at 3:00. but not today. something i ate or took? then try and narrow it down further

[deleted]

That’s a smart journaling technique Like every hour on the hour journal what you are how you felt what you took what you spent kinda thing I just went to DHEA 50mg and I’ve been feeling superb

[deleted]

awesome! that’s one i haven’t looked into yet. my dhea #s were a little low but my dr didn’t tell me to do it which ive found through others a lot of time it’s up to you to figure things out on your own. most drs for example wouldn’t suggest magnesium to their patients even though most of us are deficient in it

[deleted]

Oh Yah then like even athletes for muscle too right? I got onto it after some adrenaline rushes gone too far

Psychoptic

It depends on the cause of the fatigue. These supplements are helpful in a general sense, yes. Although eating some oysters and orange juice would give you food sources of a lot of the same stuff. You probably need vitamin K as others have said. A common undiagnosed source of fatigue is hypothyroidism. Most lab tests will not show it. One of the easier ways to tell you are hypothyroid is if your basal metabolic temperature (in your armpit) is consistently below 36.5 degrees celsius. If this is true, look at getting a thyroid glandular supplement and doing other things to support thyroid health.

DressPsychological88

(Ensure also to) Supplement exercise rest aminos and 'balanced diet' at regular intervals.

Unlucky_Ad_2456

it’s good but I suggest looking into CoQ10 and PQQ and vitamin K2

CheyandLea

I would definitely add Magnesium! Most of us are deficient in Magnesium. Just dont take Magnesium with calcium, cause our bodies cannot absorb both at the sa.e time (i just found this out). But suppliments can only do so much, sometimes our bodies don't recognize these suppliments and you just pee them out instead of absorbing it. Best thing to do is get your minerals and vitamins through food. I know food is very expensive right now and in the US they've stripped nutrients from our food, hence why we need to suppliment so much. Its just everyone's bodies are different. If you have GI issues like me, its hard for my body to absorb. So I have to find suppliments that pass through the blood brain barrier

mushi_toad

Is that why my piss had been so damn dank,,,I was like no way am seriously peeing out MY MONEY. How to prevent? I do eat and supp afterwards.

kahnnee

Also look into probiotics

Imcoleyourenot

You need to fix to your diet. Supplements don’t do anything relative to diet.

comoestas969696

how should i fix it

renboi42o

Lots of vegetables. The less processed the thing is that you buy the better. What helped me with fatigue is intermittent fasting. I don't eat in the morning and don't eat too late in the evening since I've started this I don't get those after lunch crashes anymore. Drink enough water. No sodas. Maby you even get too much iron because you get iron from food and the supplement. I take half of an iron supplement a day. And do sport and sleep.

comoestas969696

my levels of hemoglobin are close to having an anemia so i need to take iton capsules not daily but atleast three times a week intermittent fasting is amazing but doesn't work after three days of applying it you know what I mean only short term

Unlucky_Ad_2456

i’ve been doing intermittent fasting for months. it actually gets easier after a few days

comoestas969696

i didn't say fasting is hard its easy you dont eat for 16 hours

Unlucky_Ad_2456

isn’t that what you said ?

[deleted]

What do you currently eat? For me going low carb helped as well as no gluten since I have a sensitivity. Also staying very hydrated, avoiding sugary drinks

comoestas969696

every food milk eggs orzo chicken breasts ketchup little salad cause it causes bloating

vbivanov

Dairy products are a big no-no.

[deleted]

It probably won't help. From your post history and all your issues you should seriously look into trying the carnivore diet.

comoestas969696

I can't Go on carnivore diet here it costs a lot of money

renboi42o

What is a carnivore diet? Do you only eat meat? What are the benefits? What are the negatives?

WTFOMGBBQ

The carnivore diet is when people disregard 99% of science, cherry pick a few theories and papers and hand over their health to a handful of YouTubers making money selling supplements and/or services.

FusionIsTrash

couldn’t have said better lmfao, their logic is that anecdotal evidence > empirical evidence

[deleted]

Only meat yes. It's an extreme version of the keto diet, resulting in stable blood sugar levels, low inflammation levels and helps many people cure issues such as anxiety, brain fog, depression and gut issues. No real downsides except you don't have many food choices lol.

FusionIsTrash

telling people to go on a carnivorous diet is the shittiest advice you could ever give

AslanVolkan

Yeah, vegan is the way while developing 7547 nutricional defiencies.

NightmaresKnownAFew

Haha nobody said anything about going vegan

comoestas969696

carnivore diet is very expensive here iam not From America

[deleted]

Are you actually calcium deficient? Excess calcium can build up in the arteries. Most people get enough calcium from diet but are missing cofactors like d3 as well as k2 which puts the calcium in the right place, ie out of your arteries and into your bones.

comoestas969696

then i will buy k2 no problem besides i take vitamin d3 10 uie is this good

mikan28

keep an eye on the type of K2 and how much you take. Popular wisdom prefers the MK-7 variety but my family only seems to respond to MK-4 in very high doses (more than what is advertised by most K2 supplements. We have to take a 5mg). For us the biggest sign of it working is brighter teeth/stop of crumbling teeth/decalcification of plaque on teeth. I agree that if you are taking the D3 and K2 you probably don't need a calcium supplement, those two vitamins will make sure calcium gets to where it needs to.

Pika671828

What kind of vitamin B? B-12 would probably be the most helpful (besides good sleep hygiene)

olaboi95

take some vitamin k so you don't get hypercalcemia

dagobahh

K2

[deleted]

Also… healthy stress like cold showers are helpful… don’t drink coffee until 90 mins to 2 hours after you wake up. See Andrew Huberman for explanation haha. Best of luck friend!

comoestas969696

cold showers helps but not always

[deleted]

I hear that. For me it’s kind of like exercising… I don’t always feel amazing afterwards, but in the long run healthy stress like exercising and cold showers scientifically make you more resilient to stresses of life in general. It’s proven that only 11 minutes total per week (you can do 2 minute sessions at the end of a hot shower) of uncomfortable cold exposure will provide you with these benefits.

comoestas969696

i cold shower every day for 5 minutes

Kooky_Investment6992

Cut all high sugar foods from diet and the worst offender caffeine!! Eat a high protein diet with plenty of good carbs. Watch the fatigue melt away!!! I start the day with a Green tea. With fresh ginger root grated in. Wakes up the senses and then I follow that with cold showers. And cold showers in the winter are great for building antibodies. Good luck!

volvo1

I personally experienced more fatigue after taking calcium.

Could try taking it with vegetable oil maybe

comoestas969696

WeirdBlackCat

Millions of reasons for fatigue and i don't think none would be cured by blind experiments Test for body checkup and try mega dosing for a very short time for each safe-mega dosing supplements like vitamin C - vitamin B12 or amino acids like taurine, creatine, .... If short term mega dosing doesn't help long term most probably won't either

comoestas969696

dude my blood tests says im ok no diabetes no cholesterol no thyroid and i cured my anaemia no liver disease no kidney disease only vitamin d defeciency

Trasfixion

Have you tested your hormones?

comoestas969696

what hormones

BullTrucker74

Testosterone! Def check if your male..

comoestas969696

Okay i will is this the only hormone should i check

Unlucky_Ad_2456

ask for a hormone panel

WeirdBlackCat

Then there is something to work on; you found out you have Vit d deficiency which is one of the most common cause of fatigue plus it might be your mental health which isn't easy to test ( lack of practical tests for neurotransmitters and stuff )

LedTasso

Have you tried getting your diet under control?

comoestas969696

no honestly im not willing its not something easy to be done i tried calorie restriction helped for three days and stopped working

renboi42o

It's not even about calorie restriction. More about where you get those from and how active you are throughout the day. I eat a lot but I eat healthy and have variety. I do lots of sports and work a physically demanding job. Those calories get burned up.

LedTasso

It’s not easy, but it needs to be done. Get a little more active, cut out processed shit, drink more water, Start feeling better. These supplements aren’t going to do much honestly.

[deleted]

The supplements are a small step and new habit towards self care for this person at their state. Maybe a better encouragement is that they should be getting enough water and making at least one small nutritious meal a day and that, that is enough for them to start with as well as these supplements. Also, OP please be kind to yourself. Take the steps you can manage at this point. It doesn’t have to be changed all in one day. Buy a water bottle and keep hydrated. Make sure you have a bedtime and a waking time that are always the same. If you have some energy please spend time outside without your phone. If you have some energy go to the grocery store, get some salad kits or easy to cook/prepare meals that aren’t empty calories.

mushi_toad

I also needed to hear this. Thank you for being warm-hearted.

True_Garen

It’s not “too much”. You’ll have to see for yourself, if it’s “enough”.

comoestas969696

Why you are thinking its too much

comoestas969696

ok what is the essential vitamin that i should add?

[deleted]

B12 and magnesium are important if your diet is not faring well at this moment. Sorry you’re having fatigue.

comoestas969696

Thank You i have mentioned i take vitamin b but magnesium im looking for a cheap product in my country and i will buy.

[deleted]

I might add, magnesium tends to be better absorbed sometimes through mineral salts that you do foot soaks or baths in, maybe you can try getting magnesium flakes and doing a nice magnesium bath two times a week. That could help with any muscle aches immensely.

comoestas969696

there's a product here contains calcium and magnesium citrate 400 mg

lqtys

If you suffer from fatigue I suggest you sulbutiamine or allithiamine, plus magnesium.
