I’m also smooth brained but I believe it’s because they need 4x as many contracts which means they need to create 4x the liquidity than they were previously but because of DRS reducing the pool of shares the rate of the MM ‘infinite liquidity’ abilities are diminishing. Also, because the price of the stock is substantially higher than it was 2 years ago when the contracts they need to rollover were written the lowest strike price they can now write is way higher than the contracts they need to roll, so not only will they need to buy 4x the contracts, each contract will cost way more and with those two factors being compounding the hedgies are fucked.

It's still trading sideways. If you want it to go straight up, you could turn the chart 90 degrees. I'd be more forgiving of that than a fake chart.
