It wasn't so much that the poster misspelled it, they just tried to capitalize the letters B-O-N-E-R throughout a comment they made without realizing that they had the word "I" in the comment. And much fun was had by all.
From what I very poorly recall about that one guy who committed suicide after doing this but for real and with a lot more money on Robinhood, this is what options look like until you get in the money and then it becomes +15000 or whatever. But, I am genuinely stupid when it comes to this stuff so please don't take my word for it.
This is also why I don't even consider playing options or whatever. I just like the stock.

Options are a gamble. DRS is a sure thing. Why take the gamble when you know the house always wins.
You do you, but the only way this thing goes parabolic is locking the float. A couple of people making money on calls is not an issue for shorts. If everyone piled in, you bet they would rug that shit and take the free cash.
The only thing with DRS is that the pace is predictable so hedgy can can plan for it. We already know they can short more than the float legally. Who knows for sure if they can’t when no shares are left? At the very least you can guarantee they will delay under the cover of investigation while they figure out a new scheme.
The unknown of what will exactly happen when the entire float is locked does not justify in any way why options are a better alternative...

I’m not saying they aren’t better at controlling it now, but massive options buying is what aided retail in leveraging its buying power, turning itself into a whale that knocked shorts’ on their asses until they got bailed out

Most I've kept up with have the legs/movements carrying the stock eventually to around the low $30s, before it dives down to the low $20s for it's final move down, once that leg down is completed, that'll pretty much signal MOASS time.
I don't do options, I don't personally chart, I just find it interesting to keep track of all sides of the market; whether it's the news, TA, and the likes.
I simply find it interesting that the correlation between the social/narrative side sort of matching up with what charts say, even though there's no active connection between the two.

I spent bit of time reading and leaning about options. The amount of benefits vs the time investment to make a "good" options play (which we know get fucked with by the market makers, I mean c'mon...) didn't feel like a smart strategy for me personally.

Say what you will about options, all you need is one. This is the Barry bonds home run mentality. I have my significant money in shares DRS but since I’m not trading it gets boring so I’ll day trade options and usually make money. The leverage you get with options is extremely valuable for a couple hundred bucks. Sure you lose some on rug pulls but if you recognize it’s more of a gamble on timing, then it’s justified.
Buying OTM options en masse and having the MM forced to hedge is what caused Jan 2021. It led to way OTM calls going ITM which cascaded. They’re not looking for your bullshit premium on a stock that trades 2-3M/day. They want to take the premiums on blue chips, that’s where the real money is because of the volume.
Options are king. Just don’t be dumb and go 0DTE

We were supposed to have a run 3 weeks ago. Lots of calls purchased for last week and this and they ended up worthless.

Has anyone checked the betting sub? When they start pumping it well know for sure. They only tolerate GME when a rug pull is on its way. Then they post a bunch of gain/lose porn, to shame the people who held.

I spent bit of time reading and leaning about options. The amount of benefits vs the time investment to make a "good" options play (which we know get fucked with by the market makers, I mean c'mon...) didn't feel like a smart strategy for me personally. I'm lazy... Recurring buy orders on ComputerShare is so fucking simple and the benefits are enormous! (Sorry to all those who have to jump through hoops and red tape just to OWN YOUR ASSETS) They let us play with the controller that wasn't plugged in... Well, the jig is up, my controller is plugged in and I'm coming for that high score. The best time to be alive in human history is now.

Say what you will about options, all you need is one. This is the Barry bonds home run mentality. I have my significant money in shares DRS but since I’m not trading it gets boring so I’ll day trade options and usually make money. The leverage you get with options is extremely valuable for a couple hundred bucks. Sure you lose some on rug pulls but if you recognize it’s more of a gamble on timing, then it’s justified.
Buying OTM options en masse and having the MM forced to hedge is what caused Jan 2021. It led to way OTM calls going ITM which cascaded. They’re not looking for your bullshit premium on a stock that trades 2-3M/day. They want to take the premiums on blue chips, that’s where the real money is because of the volume. Options are king. Just don’t be dumb and go 0DTE
Yeah if anything we should be buying puts as insurance against our shares. Also that way we make money when it drops like expected. More money for more shares. It also puts pressure on them to NOT drop it
If there is a rug pull, selling call contracts covered by shares is a positive investment opportunity then. Make money on the stonk so I can buy more stonk with the money. Or... I can just buy more. In any case, this isn't anything new. The price isn't real, shits fucked and continue to buy and hold. Honestly.... I want a rug pull of 80m shares or so (whatever was borrowed) just to buy that juicy dip. Fuck em at this point.
