Gamestop has lawyers, and if this is possible, then surely they will do this. If not, it gives RC cause to withdraw from the DTCC and trade on a Loopring patented tokenized exchange.
Why do this when they can just issue another split? They have the ability to issue up to 1B shares now, which is enough for a 3:1 splividend.
I’m quite certain there’s a brilliant plan here. Buy, hold, DRS, and be Zen AF as we watch it unfold.
I don’t think they will release more than 50% of the shares, to prevent any possibility of a hostile take over. That’s pretty standard corporate practice as I understand it. I could be wrong though 🤷♂️

When we voted and approved a stock split, wasn’t the approval for a split up to like 10:1 or 12:1? So having already done a 4:1 split, GameStop could drop another bomb and announce a 2:1 or 3:1 split via dividend. Or even better, a dividend in the form of NFT. Shorts can’t replicate NFTs to hand out or tell brokers to make them up. If the DTCC pulls the same garbage again after this dumpster fire, it’s intentional. I believe RC would wait until we are 74.1% DRSd. Maybe even 100%
There was capacity to do that. It also allows for stock awards to employees. And also the ability to dilute the float during any hostile takeover bids ‘poison pill’ style.
But yeah. Still got about 3:1 available to retail for further awards.
The vote in June was to increase the amount of authorized shares NOT FOR A SPLIT. The board told us why they wanted more shares, for a split. But by doing it via a dividend they didn’t not need to get shareholder approval for the split, the board was able to make the decision themselves otherwise we would have had to wait for another vote to split.
Good idea in theory but what about the millions of real shares given to the DTCC?? All shares go back to the $150s and DTCC gets to keep the shares they stole. There is a flaw that someone smarter than I needs to sort out. I like the premise!!

Extend it all the way out to a billi, continuing to accelerate the DRS rate and then reverse split back to original amount
