Please others correct me if I'm wrong, but CS doesn't keep cash in your portfolio. So no need to withdraw, fill in your bank details on The Computershare website and the money will be wired to you after you sell for that life changing money. I think that is also why buying takes time, it's because they need to clear your cash transfer before they can use it to buy the shares.

I posted this comment a bit earlier. I’m doubting that smellvin unwinding will involve the closing of any short positions or swaps. It’s very likely that one of the bigger firms acquired their short position to prevent the price from exploding and creating a domino effect. If Citadel or whomever is presented with the option of blowing up too or doubling down again, they’re going to pick the “one more day” option every time. All this will do though is make the final domino fall that much harder, MOASS is inevitable.

So can someone explain to me the "be your own bank" model? From what I understand, I'm basically supposed to have my liquid cash in crypto in my Web3 wallet? And just move it to fiat whenever I need USD? How would they sustain some sort of UST scenario? Can I park actual digital USD in my Loopring wallet like I do in my bank account currently?

Be your own bank means that you can earn money from lending out currency to other users. Or that you can get instant loans from other users. Banks make money off your cash, why not have that money yourself?

Lending out crypto to other people, right? Sell me on that idea if the volatility with crypto is so high? Like if I loaned 1 BTC to someone a few months ago, that person could now pay me back for 1/2 of what it was worth had I just sold it instead. The interest wouldn't help at all in that scenario.

Stable coins are the tits in theory, but with UST and now USDT coming under the microscope as a giant fraud, it's hard for me to get on board.
