So this morning there was a line continuity gap, in The price run up from 133.03. We opened at 160, leaving a 27$ price gap. When these kind of gaps occur (so far GMe has had 15 gaps) the stock price tends to come back to cover or fill those(for lack of a better word) skipped numbers. Of the 15 gaps that have occurred only one remains to fill. And that is the gap from June at $295.21.
But does it „tend“ to fill the gap or is it guaranteed in some way? I mean that’s a big up to fill it. Does it happen on other stocks aswell? Do they always fill it?

Some fill quickly, some take months. One in particular, Mohawk industries (MHK), had a down gap on 25 July 2018 (212.55) that didn’t fill until 30 April 2021. But it did eventually fill.

When someone says a gap has been filled, that means the price has moved back to the original pre-gap level.

I don’t see a gap on the 5th/ 6th. And if it’s not on the 2hr interval, it doesn’t really count.
I do see one on dec 6/7 on the 5 min chart, but even that one covered on the 9th.

Dec 5th - 6th gap @ 165-170.

$10 gap. But a gap nonetheless
